Let’s try this, if it doesn’t work (cos my guess is that the problem arised because of the firmware upgrade) then may be the boys at Alaba will have to eat some of your naira for their services: do a factory reset first, then follow it up with a rerun of the 1.10p. That’s how far I guess I can go. If the problem didn’t arise from the firmware upgrade then all these efforts will result to zero.

@ lovala thanks once again, i have giving it 2my to my tecnichan who is going 2alaba, he promise to take it to strongs office to help retify the fault. As this may be factory problem i Promise to give feed back in regards to every details as soon as he comes back but said it will take sometime may be weeks. So untill then i will be using my 4663x. Plz house what could be wrong when after upgrading a 4669x with 1.20p on generator went blind after replacing the ic, takes time 2 switch on, not untill i have to touch the lnb wire at the back of the decorder or the AV CHORD before it switches on, and when fianly on will delete all the channels saved on it and bring out channels that came with it from factory, after you blindscan again will delete all channels when switched on again plz help as i dont know what to do the 4669x is not even up to 2weeks

They realy look alike but just little diffrence, 4669x comes without being upgreaded 4rm factory meaning u will have 2 upgread with the 1.10p or 1.20p or 1.22p patches which take care of the Acc audio problems. While d 4669xii is upgreaded 4rm fractory with all format to take care of all audio renging from mpeg2 to mpeg4 with better picture guality

ur diseq switch is bad, just get urself anoda diseq wit 4 in 1 port that's working fine' after conneting each dish to their port, go to menu-dish instullation look 4 where de lnb settings are based, den place each satelite 2there diseq port as u hav it on the spillter outside den save ur settings. You are den gud 2go, trust me it will work coz i've had such expirenced .whatever ur findings are come tell the house so we know which way foward
