Saintinoo: That is one thing with the hausa from North, you guys can die of hunger so long as an Igbo man is not the president of Nigeria.
May you keep being hungry inshallah. A bag of corn is almost #100k in the North and about 90 percent of hausa cannot afford it. We can manage to vote a Soludo but never an Obi. That man is devil himself and we will never forget the leaked audio tape |

Medipharm: No indication things will get.....How do you think Petrol will come down from #700 to either 170k because that's the measure of betterment since Petrol was 185 before Tinubu enters.. How do you think a bag of Rice will come down to 30k from 75k, is that possible? Una de joke. Tinubu has done his part in scattering Nigeria Tinubu is doing his best and we understand the peculiarity of the challenges. Despite the high prices, things are still relatively cheaper when compared to Neighboring countries. We shall get there by God's grace |

The fact that the so called sophisticated people voted this dunce as a president speaks volume. That won't make me vote Obi. We hate him in the North |

BadMaster: Whether they look for it or not, is it not a fact that things have gotten terrible? Should everybody pretend and live in denial? How does that help anyone? For your information, this is not Nigerian specific. Meta in 2023 layed off 20k employees and this is the impact of that decision. How is this a Nigerian thing? For your information this kind of news is what makes investors run away from Nigeria and in the end we will be the one to suffer it. Our children will be the one to suffer for this unnecessary media stunt just to make people feel BAT is the worst thing that happened to Nigeria. |

snapshot: This analysis is fundamentally wrong, let us agree that each citizen is worth 8k monthly, the truth is there will never be a time that the government will share this money to it's citizens.
What soludo would have done is to tell us what the size of the workforce employed by government?
What is the wage bill of this workforce? How much is spent on infrastructure by the government from its earnings?
How much is stolen by corrupt politicians?
In conclusion only few person in Nigeria work for the government either fed, state or local,so they should not confused the uninformed with this analysis of 200million people trying to share 18trillion that is garbage. I can't help you if you are not discerning enough. This is simple arithmetic. |

Noblechykk: First thing first. Good that you mentioned corruption. The government should be sincere with eradicating corruption. Drastically reduce the cost of governance. Then, we be justified to call out labour union The analysis i made is assuming no corruption. It is that bad. With corruption I am sure the income per person will be less than 3k |

https://www.nairaland.com/8123289/share-anambra-monthly-revenues-nobodyThis topic is created to buttress Soludo's claim and also give a big picture view of Nigerian economic situation. If we do the same analysis for Federal Government, each citizen will get less than NGN8,000 monthly if all revenues that accrues to Nigeria in 2024 were shared with her citizens. Below is the calculation Estimated yearly revenue based on 2024 Budget - NGN18.32 trillion Estimated Nigerian population - 200 million Revenue per population = 18,320,000,000,000/200,000,000 = NGN91,600 per citizen yearly (NGN7,633 monthly) The truth is that each citizen will get less than 8k naira monthly. Federal Government is expected to pay salaries, invest in roads and capital expenditure, pay back loans and also save for the future. Nigeria is technically a very poor country. Despite this huge constraint, we still lose a chunk of this money to corruption. FG cannot afford to increase minimum wage beyond its capacity, it will result into severe economic conditions for everyone. NLC should please be very understanding with their request. Please let me know what you all think as well |

Ezeama400: If you want to hide an information from agbado clowns, put it in writing ..
Here is what Soludo said...
Sometimes, I just wish that I can give every resident of Anambra maybe a million naira each to ameliorate the hardship that we have, but the reality is that if we get our entire revenue in a month, both from FAAC and from our IGR and put it on the table, call all our estimated 8.5 million residents and share it, nobody will get up to N2,500
He's not taking about workers which is where you are driving to, he's lamenting about the economic hardship Tinubu subjected Nigerians to .
Now, how much would Osun people which is your state of Origin get if you share your IGR to entire Osun citizens?
Continue modifying your initial comment Can you just reason with your head for a minute. If anything the revenue of Anamabra just recently increased and even at that, the revenue per head is still at 2,500 naira. Let us all grow up beyond politics and understand our challenges as a nation. We are technically a very poor nation. |

FreeStuffsNG: The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, says if all Anambra earnings are shared individually with the residents of the state, nobody will get up to N2,500.
Hehe......A whole Anambra state?
This man is so brutally frank although I have always known that he will struggle as a state Governor if he approaches his role with his previous experience and mindset of a CBN Governor who has access to endless flow of cash in the vault.
Gov. Soludo has broken the table once again. Check my signature for free stuffs! Reality |
