Besides, I'd like to comment on your supposed "disadvantaged" situation. I put it in quotes because indeed when you look at things from another perspective, you cannot blame all these people for your predicament.
We all know the situation in this country is hard and you just need to toughen up and grow some balls and make the best of the little opportunities you have.

For instance, I come from an averagely well to do family. Both my parents own properties , my dad especially runs a business and isn't doing very bad . He even pays salaries of up to 20 people every month and all these people depend onbhin for their livelyhood.


Mom recently retired and bought a house in addition to the ones she already own.

My elderly ones and we'll to do. Big brother is a top bank executive and also acquired a property recently in a prime location in Lagos. I'm talking of an asset close to 50 Million here. Big sister isn't doing bad either, she runs her business and also has several employees on her Payroll..

My little sister who is married recently travelled to the U.S to have her second child. She had her first there as well.

Younger brother hustles and he at least drives a car and lives comfortably.

Here I am.. Things aren't so smooth for me. I'm still struggling and I don't get a dime from these people except I desperately need it and out of options. Getting handouts from them wouldn't even help until I make a proactive decision to be self reliant so I seldom ask except I'm pressed to.

Now you see that your family background isn't a function of who you are or what you can achieve. It all depends on what lies within you.
