Let’s just keep calm, only one out of six Cars I’m expecting from Grande Nigeria was transferred today, hopefully by tomorrow or Thursday all cars should be at the Terminal.

some vessels spend 2 weeks from the last port in U.S to Nigeria. For such vessel, it must quarantine at least 2 weeks before it's allowed to berth having spent 2 weeks enroute Nigeria. This coupled with congestion and other port health policies are responsible for the delays. Grimaldi has its own issues too. They hired some vessels to deliver consignments to Nigeria. Unfortunately, they couldn't afford paying those vessels for 2 weeks while on quarantine in Nigerian waters. So they had to offload the contents at cotonou pending when their own original vessel which can afford to take the wait of 2 weeks comes in. That was what happened to lapis arrow.
I know you are only trying to help ease the worries but the question is where is Grande Nigeria that was supposed to bring those vehicles Lapis Arrow dropped at Cotonou over a month now? At least Grande Nigeria is Grimaldi direct line and two weeks of quarantine should be over and if it is about berthing space Grande Gabon just left. My prayer is still that Grande Nigeria get to Lagos by Monday, no one can say this is what is happening for now.

@Hollahoye, something is definitely wrong somewhere, apart from the date keep changing, Grimaldi terminals berths 2 vessels at a time, right now its currently 1 grande gabon and the next one is expected on 10th. If you look at trend again, most vessels delayed using are not planned for other destinations, also what i don't understand is lapis arrow cargoes seems to have a lot their not saying, stop wasting you time calling customer service, you have more info than them. They have been programmed to say a particular thing at a particular situation, i understand the game so i have fought very hard as to this via mail. Copy the headquarters in napoli, copy the MD PTML and everyone involved including your freight agent and grimaldi cotonou. Go hard on the mail.
Some lapis arrow cargoes were loaded on grande Nigeria since 13th may, while others was expected on grande Senegal but was abandoned after 4 grimaldi vessel pass cotonou to Nigeria.
They know whats up but no regard to Nigeria customers
I’m just tired of this whole issue but I still hope and pray it get to Lagos by next week

Hello, I’m just been curious about this Grande Nigeria Vessel situation. This vessel departed Cotonou on 13th of last month and it only takes a vessel that depart Cotonou just a day to get to Lagos but ever since the day this vessel departed Cotonou it is still yet to arrived at Lagos and after so many attempts of tracking the vessel I noticed this vessel didn’t move an inch from where it stopped ever since 13th of last month.
On my Grimaldi tracking the Vessel was said to berth in Lagos 25/5/2020 and till now it is still yet to berth. I called Grimaldi Nigeria customer’s service line last week to get first hand information about the vessel the lady said it will berth today 6/8/2020 that it is because of the fact that there is no space for it yet and this morning again I called the same number again to be assured if the vessel will still berth today as scheduled but the lady told me it will berth on 6/15/2020 again.
My observations are 1) I don’t know why the date keeps changing and it won’t be a surprise if this persists till the end of the year
2) At least if the vessel will berth any time soon it should be sitting close to Lagos port and not close to Cotonou because Heogh Singapore had a similar issue and it was sitting close to Lagos port and not Cotonou port
3) I also noticed the vessel didn’t move at all ever since the day it stop moving after departing Cotonou and I’m predicting Technical issue or the vessel is can’t move.
4) Most Vessel tracking sites don’t have information about the Grande Nigeria anymore and site said it will berth 2021 but Grimaldi Nigeria website said change the date this morning to today’s date

CAN ANYONE HERE SHED MORE LIGHT ON THIS ISSUE BECAUSE I HAVE 5 VEHICLES COMING WITH THIS VESSLE.
