Hi everyone! With regards to d admission procedure for this year,I'm not certain of how its gonna b. Weda its gonna b written or oral. However, indications emerged that last year, U.I adopted the writting post utme, nd they shal possibly use similar format thiz year. No mata, in d past, ui iz known for shortlisting candidates with d combination of O'level nd Utme score, byt to everyonz dismay, it changes. The fact needs be made clear that ui is a volatile institution wich is flexible to any condition. Owing on this, it may b slightly concluded dat ui may want to:1. a. Maintain her screening exercise through written post utme esspecially now dat awaiting candidates were equally invited nd actually shortlisted. b. Ensure everyone will b screend on the same day 9th july, 12 since its the only day indicated on d web page. 2. Return back to her quality assurance idea of oral post utme based on a. The information published indicate post utme exercise instead of post utme examination. b. All candidate were directed to report at their respective faculty's theater hall wich under strict spacing conduct of the exam will not contain all invited candidates ecxept otherwise. c. Candidates were instructed to come along with certain documents nd not or probably forgoten to come with writing materials, or will they possibly provide such? Additionally, last year post utme examination had a upward number of shortlisted candidates compared to this year's 7040. However, like i said earlier, i'm not certain of what you are being invited for. Since only your invitation letter can do dat. Weda it will b written of oral, your letter will indicate either:1. You shold come along with writing materials or not. 2. Your own screening is scheduled for 9th or not. Rest assured your admission into ui dis year is ordained. However FAITH WITHOUT WORK IS DEAD! Hey evry1! Plz b assured that all awaiting candidate who applied for d 2012/13 admission will definately be considerd. I wonder why some people were shouting, turning nairaland into shouting ground. True was the fact that U.I applied 60:40 last year, at a time they used 50:50. Whatever procedure, the school has invited them. Does anyone knows why they were invited? So no one could say how such ones will be taken along. Hence the process is left to the school's management, since none of u guys is prof. Adewole nor prof. Olukoya neither are you member of the school senate. However, from my findings, all awaiting aspirant can participate in the soon to be closed registration, nd pray they have a bright result to complement thier jamb score. In fact their shortlistment along-side 2nd choice aspirant will be released after the release of their o'level result. If that is, i can vividly say your prospect is sure even than those who already had thier o'level. Also with regards to those who are optimistic of knowing the cutoff for various depertment, keep a little patience because no cutoff will be made available until all applications are recevied, and applicants grades are properly reviewed. Such can only come after the 22nd of june. Besides who told anyone of you that U.I has post utme past questions? Please note dat putme started just last year, nd candidates were not allowed to leave with the question paper. Do not be deceived! Thus, if you want to prepare for putme, do so with jamb past questions since the putme is also a jamb standard examination. Direct entry aspirant should equally exercise a waiting attitude, as consideration will be given them after the putme. Please note that there are some people who knows noting about U.I but will tend to give falsive information. Dont be equally deceived with admission assistant! Of course such can never work in the premier versity. When admitted eventually, u have to b very serious and hard working coz U.I no they send person oooo. Tsunami go wipe una comot oooo.
