PART 13
“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“ Timi, your bed is stained” I heard Mmesoma literally screaming...
“ You dooonnnn’t have to shout, it’s nothing serious” I managed to say as my pain was getting worse. I was beginning to cry.
The source of the tears were of two origins; one, I was crying because of the pain I was feeling in my body and secondly I was crying because I realized I was a loser...
“ I am just having a heavy flow...” I said with the last strength in me..
“ You call this heavy flow, this is way beyond menstration...I think you are bleeding, we need to get you to the health center...” Mmesoma said
The idea of the Health center didn’t go down well with me as I knew my secret will be out in the open, but I felt I was going to die anytime soon, if I didn’t get medical help, so with the Last strength I could gather, I said...
“ I don’t like the health center, take me to the nearest hospital outside campus...” I said in a rush as I suddenly started feeling very thirsty...
We had a cab service company in the campus that was just a phone call away, so I knew that was who Mmesoma was calling when I saw her putting the phone to her ear. I was blanking out, I could still see but my ears could no longer hear what was been said to me afar off.
5 minutes later, we heard a knock on our door. I was expecting the cab man as Mmesoma opened the door, but to my utmost shock, it was Bro Kennedy.
“ My God!” I said in my heart as my mouth could no longer move...
I was too weak to carry myself, so Mmesoma and Kennedy helped me to the cab.
On getting to the hospital, I heard faintly, the doctor telling Mmesoma and Bro Kennedy that I had an incomplete abortion.
Words can not describe the look on Mmesoma and Bro Kennedy’s face. After the initial shock, he kept on looking at me sitting face to face to me on a chair in the hospital ward. You could see he was trying to withhold back his tears. Mmesoma had gone to fill some forms.
Bro Kennedy and I just kept staring at each other, a lot of unsaid words. That was the first time I ever looked at Bro Kennedy in the face. I saw a genuine soul, my tears fell on it’s own and simultaneously his tears dropped and all he said was...
“ I would never have done this to you, Who is he?”
At that point Mmesoma entered, she spoke to Bro Kennedy about the Hospital bill, Bro Kennedy gave her his ATM and PIN number. As soon as Mmesoma stepped out, he held my hands and kept sobbing, while I faintly heard him saying...
“ God, please let your mercy speak for Timi, you told me she is a great tool in the Kingdom, please don’t let the devil cut short her time on earth in Jesus name” . Mmesoma walked in and joined in the prayer.
Some Minutes later, the doctor and nurses came in. I was wheeled to the theatre again as the doctor wanted to take out whatever was still left of the aborted baby.
This time around, I didn’t feel the pain, because the greater pain of losing Papa and Kennedy was worse.
***********
I Woke up around 3am in the morning on the hospital bed. I called Papa back to back, but His Number was switched off.
I wondered where he was, I called one of his neighbors who I was friendly with as early as 6am. He told me Papa didn’t come back home the night before...
I heard a soft knock on my door, instincts told me it was Mmesoma, and I was instantly happy, because I was sure she was bringing me food. I had not eaten in the last 24 hours.
However, the door opened to reveal Bro Kennedy with a Nylon bag. He was smiling and showing his scattered dentition, which didn’t mean much to me anymore as I was seeing more of who he was than what he looked like...
“ Bro Kennedy!” I managed to say in a high tone to depict I was in good shape.
“ Sis Timi, thank God you are awake so early. I spoke to my Mum when I got home last time, you know she is a retired Nurse. I told her about you and asked what I could do to help you, so she said I should try to make you hot and light Pap. So here is it... Fortunately, I had some Pap...” I looked at him thankfully and smiled...
“ If Mmesoma wasn’t in the picture, I would have reconsidered Bro Kennedy... but would he want to marry me after aborting a baby.” I reasoned silently as I saw how meticulously he was pouring the Pap into the Mug.
“ It’s ok, Sister Timi... I know this must have been a mistake, I know you were probably raped and thought of a way of escape...?” He said as he searched my eyes for answers.
Rape? That was a good idea, Papa and I could keep this dirty little secret of ours while I could conveniently lie to everyone that I had been raped and out of fear I went for an abortion.
And MAYBE... Just maybe I could get back Bro Kennedy. It was still obvious he had a soft spot for me...

“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
Mmesoma kept singing and it was obvious something was making her happy. She tried chatting with me but I kept giving her the “Huh Huh” answer because of the excruciating pain I was feeling in my lower abdomen and the pain in my heart as I had been calling Papa repeatedly without any response from him...
“ Timi, there is something I want to share with you!” She said smiling from ear to ear “but it seems you are not in the mood to talk”
“ Hmmm... Hmmm...can it wait till tomorrow, I am feeling sleepy” I said
“ Ok, guess I have to tell someone else about it, i can’t keep calm” Mmesoma said smiling...
“ Is it that important?” I asked
“ Very important!” Mmesoma said giggling. By that time, she was already dialing a number...
“ Hello Ugo, I am so high right now!” She said giggling...
“ High in the Spirit of course, I can’t keep calm... Bro Kennedy has asked me out!” Mmesoma said and my head lifted up on its own accord. Bro Kennedy and Mmesoma, What was the connection?. Mmesoma had left our fellowship 3 months ago, so how did they end up together?
“ Yes ooo, exactly... God gave me exactly the kind of man I have been praying for, for the past 3 years... but you know God is a mysterious God, I didn’t know He had something special for me in a federal university...” She said giggling
I guess whoever she was speaking with asked how Bro Kennedy proposed...
“ He just proposed this night in the sweetest way ever ! Guess how?... We had just completed our usual bible study together, We discussed Matthew 28:18-20, where Christ said All authority has been given to him and that we should go and make disciples of him... Bro Kennedy just said all of a sudden “Sis Mmesoma I know you are passionate about making disciples and I am also passionate about that, I love your personality and smile. I wish and hope we can have this Bible study time together for a long time together... you know outside school, together in a house with children and you know...”... Ugo, you know Bro Kennedy could not complete his statement as he had his head bowed, so I helped him” Mmesoma said laughing out so loud
“ I told him, “ Bro Kennedy are you by any chance trying to propose marriage to me?”.... He nodded and I laughed so loud, he thought I wanted to say something else, but I just said “It will be a pleasure to make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, side by side with you, but however you will give me sometime to confirm with God!” Mmesoma said and hot tears dropped from my eyes as I laid on the bed...
I didn’t know what was causing the tears? Was it the fact that I had lost on the two sides or was I jealous of Mmesoma, I couldn’t tell...
“ Appearance... of course I know appearance is important, but Appearance is just the Icing on the cake, not the cake and the cake is what is most important ...Bro Kennedy’s Lifestyle is the cake, while his appearance is the Icing...” She said laughing
“ Ugochi.. Hold on.. I know the Icing is important, but who Icing help?” She said laughing
“ It is the outsiders that see the Icing, but it is wife that knows what the cake feels like. If I marry a man who looks good on the outside but has a bad character at home, of what use? Ugochi, Bro Kennedy is a very good cake, I will work on his Icing...” Mmesoma said laughing...
“ Ok sweetheart... thanks dearie, extend my greetings to Mum and Dad, I will come home soon...” Mmesoma said and hung up....
“ Congratulations...” I said so she could know I heard her...
“ Thanks sweetheart, I couldn’t keep calm..Sorry for my disturbance... Timi, Bro Kennedy is so nice, thank you for saying No to him, he told me he had asked you out earlier, but you said you were not interested...” She said running up to me and tickling me in a cheerful and playful way but she shouted..
“ Timi, your bed is stained!”

PART 11
“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
The pain I was feeling was second to none as it felt like someone was forcing a long stick down my throat...
Oh my God! Abortion or “Flushing” as the nurse called it, was an emotional and physical experience that had PAIN in CAPITALS... I had paid the sum of N10,000.
The nurse who was an excuse for a nurse, was so unprofessional. She had only one more staff present in the hospital that could best be referred to as a mortuary. The odour oozing out of the hospital was worse than a public toilet.
The nurse had taken me to a room they thought was a theatre, I was told to lie down on a makeshift bed with my two legs spread in a raised up position.
I looked sideways and saw her taking out some long slim rods which varied in sizes. The next thing that happened was pain....
Oh my God! She inserted the long rod into me and I started screaming...She told me to keep quiet in a very loud angry voice.
She kept turning and twisting the rod... Oh my goodness! What an irony, the same way I spread my leg in sexual excitement with Papa was the same way I was spreading my leg in pains as someone was thrusting down different iron rods into me to remove Papa’s baby.
It must have lasted 5-10minutes. I was cleaned up and told to leave. As I stood up to leave, I saw the nylon bag that was filled with blood...
“ YOU JUST WASTED A LIFE” I heard it, I heard those words loud and clear. I turned to see who spoke but no one...
I knew that must have been God.... I immediately became afraid. A sudden fear gripped my heart. My phone immediately started ringing. I checked the caller ID as I moved to the reception, it was Papa...
I sat on one of the chairs to receive the call...
“ Hello...”
“ Hello Timi.., Good Afternoon, I am sorry for my reaction yesterday... I need us to talk, we need to expose our error, and besides I don’t think you should do the abortion. It is a sin , I am ready to bear the responsibility and face the shame. And if it means us getting married, I will know it is my cross...” Papa said
I didn’t know what to say as I realized I had just made a big mistake...
“ I just did the abortionnnnn...” I said and for the first time, it felt like a veil had just been pulled off my face.
“ What!” Papa said
I could hear him breaking down in tears...
“ Timi.... Why.... what have you done to me... I just rose up from a revelation after praying all night for mercy. I saw a revelation where I was told that my first fruit is a destiny child to usher in wealth for me..., but Timi you have terminated my first fruit...” I heard Papa wailing...
We both started crying on the phone, but my relief from the pain below my belly was short lived as I heard the angry nurse saying...
“ Hey hey... You need to leave, you have to go home to rest.” She said as she was pulling me from the chair. It felt like she was literally pushing me out of their hole called a hospital.
I had a high pain threshold, so I groaned in pain silently as my lower abdomen was hurting on my way back to the hostel. After Papa had dropped the call in tears, I had called him repeatedly but he did not pick up.
I laid down on my bed groaning and weeping.
“ What have you done to yourself Timileyin?” I asked myself
“ I was trying to play God, I was trying to find myself a better place where I could drop all my baggage and live in peace” I answered myself..
“ But did it turn out that way?” I asked myself again
“ No...I have lost Papa...” I replied
“ You should have left the pregnancy “ I said to myself
“ And disappoint my parents the second time?” I screamed at myself
I wept thinking how things did not go as planned...and how I had wasted a life...

PART 10
“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
I tested positive after 3 months. It wasn’t the first time we had the sexual intercourse that resulted into the pregnancy. After the first time together, I made sure we continued with the act.
I knew Papa wasn’t happy, but I knew Emotion was more powerful than reasoning. Every time after committing the act, we would promise ourselves not to do it again, but each time I went to his house to help with his chores, I made sure we had the sexual intercourse...
Little by little I knew he was drowning, but I felt since he was God’s will for my life, when we got married, I would help him grow spiritually.
I was spending a lot of time in his house. I had kept Bro Kennedy at arms length, and I guess he got the cue, as he stopped bugging me.
Mmesoma left our fellowship and started attending another fellowship. She said she wasn’t comfortable with the Spiritual atmosphere in the fellowship.
The news of me being pregnant gave me mixed reactions; I was happy God had crowned my efforts and I saw it as an avenue to tie Papa down. I had succeeded in getting him for myself.
“ Papa, I am pregnant” I said to him after a round of sexual immorality in his room one evening.
“ What? You are joking right!” He said
“ Joking? No , why would I joke with a thing like that?”
“ Timi... You have to be joking... You have done enough harm to me by making me addicted to you, now you want to tie me down with a pregnancy..” I unbelievably heard Papa flaring up ...
“ Timi, God told me you had a special assignment in my life, but I don’t think getting pregnant for me is part of it” He said still shouting
“ So God has told you that tooo... That is what I have been trying to make you see, God told me I was made for you... That means I am meant to be your wife...”
“ No... God told me you had a special assignment in my life..”
“ It means the same thing” I said crying
“ No... I believe it has do with a spiritual assignment.. Timi, please you can’t be pregnant for me. This is stain on my ministerial testimony. God has shown me I will still pastor a church. Having a child outside wedlock will be a bad testimony” Timi said kneeling
“ What do you want me to do?” I asked
“ I don’t know!” Papa said breaking down in tears...
“ I will go for an abortion to save your ministry, but you must not betray me.” I said as I knew I was not ready to be the mother of a child in my final year in school.
“ I won’t.. I promise, just cover my shame..”
“ I will, I believe that is why God said I am made for you, if this had happened with another woman, they would expose you, but I cannot do that rather I will cover you up.” I said raising him from his knees and wiping his tears.
I carried the Bible from his study table and laid it in his lap...
“ Swear by this Word of God, that you will not betray me.” I said and with tears flowing from Papa’s eyes he swore to me.
I left his room that night very elated, I kept saying to myself...
“ All things works together for them that love the Lord”.
The next day, I went to a faraway hospital and lied that I was raped and needed to do an evacuation. The hospital nurses told me the hospital doesn’t do D&C. It was against the policy of the hospital as it was owned by a believer. As I was leaving the clinic, a nurse approached me and wrote out some pills I could use, she also gave me the address of a small clinic in the outskirts where I could do the abortion.
I appreciate her and traced the clinic.
It was a dirty looking hospital with almost all its glass shattered. The nurse I met at the reception looked like a cleaner instead of a nurse. She was chewing gum like there was no tomorrow.
“ I hope I don’t regret this abortion” I said silently to myself....

PART 9
“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
It was a beautiful Wedding between Papa and I. I wept and wept as I could not believe that despite all, I still married God’s perfect will for me... We had family and friends present. Mmesoma was also present with her husband. A man I had never met before. She told he was a pastor. After our wedding, Papa and I went for our honeymoon in the Bahamas. In two years we had a set of twin boys..
“ Timi... Timi... Timileyin wake up, it’s half past seven... Are you not going for lectures?” I heard Mmesoma’s voice from a distance...
“ Mtscheeew... Oh my God!” I hissed angrily... Why would Mmesoma wake me up from a heavenly revelation like this.... What kind of bad luck was this...
“ I slept really late...” I said to cover up my hiss...
“ Why? “
“ I was not feeling sleepy, I had a lot on my mind!”
“ Hope it has nothing to do with the text message I got from Papa last night?”
“ Nooo... How?... Papa is just my best friend, no strings attached..., I was just thinking about some personal stuffs...” I said
“ Ok, then... It is well, I am going for lectures... See you soon” She stepped out of the room.
“Another dream from the throne of God!” I reasoned
“ God, Why am I the only one you are showing these dreams to, please show this revelation to Papa as well in Jesus name.” I knelt down to pray...
Prayer! Prayer at that time was always circled around God showing Papa that I am his destined wife. I wasn’t growing spiritually, every message I heard was always interpreted to fit my situation...
When I heard messages like...”The Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and only the Violent takes it by force...” or
“ The devil never wants you to get what is rightfully yours, you need to fight to get it”
I would personalize these messages and take it as God’s word for me...
Later that evening, I went to Papa’s mini flat he had rented outside campus and I wanted to take this will violently...
I helped him prepare his favorite meal and washed his clothes. I decided to help him clean his apartment, till it was late around 9pm. All he kept ranting about was Mmesoma’s depth in the Word of God. I didn’t reply one bit...
When it was 9pm, I told him I was leaving...
“ Timi, What is wrong? you are not looking your happy self” he asked me
and instead of answering I started crying...
“ Timi, Timileyin, stop it, No... No tears, what is wrong?” With that he hugged me and I held on tight to him, not wanting to lose him to Mmesoma...He kept cuddling me like a baby and my tears kept pouring...
The Obvious unexpected happened, my lips found its way to his lips and the rest they say is history....
I knew what I was doing was not right but I felt I needed to violently take what belonged to me, before Mmesoma took him from me.
10 minutes later, Papa was sobbing and I pretended to be sobbing for losing our sexual purity....

PART 8
“HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“Could I have misheard God?, Could Bro Kennedy be God’s Will for me” I thought as I walked back to the hostel. Bro Kennedy was walking side by side. He refused going back when I told him I was fine. I just noticed he was silently walking by me.
When he got to my hostel, I appreciated him for the walk.
I sat back on my bed and asked myself why I felt Papa was the will of God...
“ I heard God.....” I said to myself.
I opened my Bible and it flipped on it’s own to where Eve was created for Adam.
“ En... En..Exactly I was made for Him!” I stood up again and danced before the Lord again.
For the next 30 minutes while I awaited Mmesoma’s arrival, I fantasized as usual about my future with Papa. I saw that we were going to have 3 boys and 1 girl.
Mmesoma eventually came in after about 45 minutes.
“ Hey!” Mmesoma said
“ Hi!” I said...
I could see she was all smiles, as she was getting set to have her bath, I engaged her in petty talks, then suddenly I said...
“ So....?” I asked teasingly
“ So What?” She asked
“ I noticed a particular brother was punching your number on his phone and I guess he was the one you spent the last 45 minutes with..”
“ Oh the brother that you referred to as Papa?” Mmesoma asked
“Yesssssss..” I Said again
“ Ok? what about Him?” Mmesoma asked
“ Will he be a good catch?” Trying to be an investigator.
“ A good catch? Who is catching who?” She asked smiling...
“ I mean.. at least your first time in church, is there anyone you have your eyes on...” I asked, still pushing for words. I was gradually becoming a full blown manipulator.
“ Yes!” Mmesoma replied
“ Who?” I asked with heart beating fast
“ Jesus!” She said dashing my hopes...
“ Timi... Like seriously? Is that what goes on in your fellowship... Girls looking for good catches?... You didn’t ask me if i found the message impacting... Babe, I don’t chase guys, Guys chase me, because I chase God.”
“ Hmm... Spiritual sister...” I said teasing her
“ I have a target and I must reach my target!”
“ Really?, What target?”
“ I have the kind of man I want... I want a Very Spiritual man, who is burning for the Lord. A man who genuinely Loves God, Because If a man doesn’t love God, he cannot love me . I need a man who is passionate about serving the Lord. The day I cried unto the Lord telling Him, this was the kind of man I wanted, A woman I had never met in my life said something to me that never left me. She was seated next to me in church with her beautiful family.
After service, she asked me for few minutes of my time...
“ I am very sorry for this, but I couldn’t help but hear your prayer. “ she had said
“ I am sorry for disturbing with my loud voice” I said shyly
“ Not a problem, but I don’t know if this advice of mine will help you in any way...”
“Ok? I am all ears...”
“ God will only give you the type of person you are... If you want a Spiritual giant, be the Spiritual giant. God can not be mocked whatever you sow you will reap and I kept hearing you say “God, let the man you have ordained for me from the beginning when you created me locate me... Sister, there is no such thing... God has given us all, individual plain slates to have the kind of life we choose to have. Let’s say there is truly one man ordained for you like it is popularly believed and preached, What if the man is a total unbeliever, What if he turns out a criminal, Will God your father who knows you are burning for Him allow you to marry a criminal all in the name of “He is the one, I have created you to marry.”
No Sister! God is not a wicked God...Please sister, God will give you a man just like you. All those qualities you have been praying to see in your future husband, begin to work on it first in your life” The beautiful woman had said...
Mmesoma narrated passionately and she continued...
“ Timi, She was 100% right because the moment I started working on my spiritual life and started growing in the Lord, the type of brothers approaching me changed. Irresponsible boys with no future ambition ceased calling me. Rather brothers with the fear and love for God were the one pursuing me..”
“ Hmm... so why haven’t you settled down with any of them...” I asked
“ Well, let’s say I haven’t found the one who my heart clicks with...You know Timi, When God created Adam, He gave him the options of picking any of the animals as his companion, but even though they were good animals, Adam didn’t find the one his heart clicked with. I believe that was when and why God had to create another option for him. When Adam saw the new being that had been created, his heart clicked and he knew this was the right companion. I believe if Adam had rejected Eve as a companion, God might have gone ahead to create another being.... So you see, God gives us the opportunity to choose who we want as companions, but our level of spirituality and lifestyle will determine who we attract “ Mmesoma said and I felt God was speaking to me.
“ Having said that... My heart doesn’t click with Papa, instead I like the Spiritual insight that brother that was speaking with you had on Brokeness and humility...”
“ Which brother?” I asked as It didn’t immediately register. Oh! Bro Kennedy
“ Bro Kennedy!” I asked very alarmed at anyone making reference to Bro Kennedy when discussing brothers...
“ Yes! I think that is his name.. I will definitely love to sit and discuss Scriptures with him... He must have some depth. I love the way he was passionately discussing the Scriptures ...” Mmesoma said laughing as she walked towards the bathroom to take her bath...
Bro Kennedy! Yuck!. I had goosebumps all over my body.
“You have a text message!” Mmesoma’s phone beeped and the automated computer voice said.
“Timi, please help me check the message and please read it aloud.” Mmesoma said
I was shocked when I saw the ID “Papa fellowship”. My heart was pounding fast as I opened the text message folder.
“ It was a delight speaking to you, this is not to flatter you but I must say, you are a mobile transformer, in just 30 minutes of speaking to you, you had quoted over 15 Scriptures... I need someone like you around me to challenge and charge me up..Hoping to see more of you Sis Mmesoma. From Papa. I hope you saved my number, because I hope to disturb you very often. Stay blessed and have a good night...”
I read out the text message, but I knew I was not the one reading but a Ghost because I was long dead... Papa was already falling for Mmesoma...My perfect will was falling for Mmesoma and Mmesoma liked Bro Kennedy’s Spiritual depth...
Strange world!

PART 7
“ HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“You look good today as always” Bro Kennedy said, but his words meant something else in my ears. It felt like the sound of a fly perching around.
“ Thanks...” I said but my neck was stretching itself to get a good look at Mmesoma and Papa. They were having a good laugh...
“ I know I may not be as attractive as Papa and other brothers in the fellowship but I am a good guy!” He said with a dry smile making an attempt to be funny, but the mention of Papa caught my attention...
“ You were saying?” I asked
“ Never mind.. I am just trying to say the right thing to make up for the last time, but I guess I am not good at petty talks. I just want to apologize for the last time, you touched an aspect of my life that causes me pain, that was why I reacted that way. You see my parents never see eye to eye on issues.
My home is a constant battle field and guess the phrase I hear in my house on a daily basis... “If not that you were the will of God for my life, why on earth will I marry someone like you...You are not even my type.” That has been the phrase that rules my home. I had to ask my mum what that meant and she told me that she and my father grew up in the same church, they both had people who they were dating , but all of a sudden, someone in the church saw a vision which he told my father. The vision was that my mother who he never loved was the perfect will of God for my father.
Sis Timi, Going through the hatred filled atmosphere between my parents in my home made me make a vow that I was not going to get married based on some vision. I was going to look for a woman who I loved in the Christian fold who was a genuine child of God. I have searched through my Bible and I didn’t see where it was written that a man had a dream and God showed him the wife, but I read in the Bible where Abraham asked his servant to go look for a wife for his son among his own people. The servant had prayed for God to grant him Favour and there among Abraham’s people he found Rebecca. Therefore Sis Timi, My God’s Will is me praying ahead of time for God to lead me to the right sister in the household of faith who I naturally will be attracted to.
Sis Timi, I have been praying since I was 15 years old for God to direct me to the right woman and I must tell you, you are the First Lady my heart tells me is THE ONE.” Bro Kennedy said and for those few minutes I was attentive.
Hmm... We were somehow alike because it was actually my parents’ marriage that made me actually crave for the perfect will of God.
“ Bro Kennedy, I am sorry for how I acted the last time, I have listened to your philosophy about marriage, but just like you, I also have a terrible home courtesy of my parents. Unlike your parents, my mother married my father who was an unbeliever and the phrase that is repeated on the lips of my mother is “I should have married the will of God for my life, I married you out of love but all you give me in this house is hatred.”.
Bro Kennedy, my mother had been told that a certain man was the will of God for her life, but she had married my father out of love . Unfortunately for her since my father was not born again, he never gave her peace, so you see why I am so crazy about hearing from God, I don’t plan to go through the torture my mother went through...”
“ Sis Timi, what if the Original Will of God of your mother had died, would she have remained single all her life?” Bro Kennedy asked out of the blues
“ No... she would have married someone else, maybe a permissive will”
“ What if the PERMISSIVE WILL refuses to marry your mum, would she have remained single?” Bro Kennedy asked again
“ No... Bro Kennedy... What is your point?” I said as I was getting impatient at his analysis. From where I stood I saw Papa punching Mmesoma’s number on his phone...
“ Sister Timileyin, my point is, not everyone has the gift of visions and dreams or hearing from God. The Will of God is for us to be equally yoked with believers, I guess that is where your mother missed it. She married outside of God. Also, that you see a person in your revelation as the will of God Does not mean when you get married your home will be 100% fun. You will still have issues. Therefore, I believe God’s ultimate will is for His children is to be equally yoked with themselves. All this talk of perfect WILL and permissive WILL tend to bring a lot of confusion. As long as, I am genuinely saved and have the Holy Spirit in me, I can prayerfully find a sister in the household of faith who we can work together in agreement to build a Godly home. The Bible states that whoever Finds a WIFE finds a good thing, and obtains Favour from the Lord... The Bible did not state that whoever that sees a vision ....Sis Timi, I am to find a wife under the supervision of the HolySpirit” I realized Bro Kennedy was about to start another Bible study....
“ Ok, Bro Kennedy, I understand your point, but unfortunately I already have someone in the household of faith God has impressed in my heart that I can spend the rest of my life with...” I said in a bid to dismiss him but it did not work...
“ So I don’t stand a chance? Why don’t you give me a chance to be your friend and get to know me. I might be better than this other person..” He said with a plea in his eyes
“ Better or what did you just say?, Bro Kennedy you are not even close to the person. The person is the full package, Spirituality, Looks, Dressing and a good sense of humor. In all I have mentioned, you don’t possess any of it...”
“ I could work better at it, if that’s what the person has over me... I really like you Sis Timi...” Bro Kennedy said as he used his hard hands to touch me. I wondered what kind of body cream he was using. Papa had the softest skin ever, he was always with his hand lotion.
“ Bro Kennedy please, I don’t like brothers touching me...” I said though I knew deep down it was a big lie. I was always longing for Papa to touch my chubby cheeks whenever he was teasing me...
“ I am sorry...” Bro Kennedy said
“ Bro Kennedy to be very honest and not to waste your time, I am already in a relationship with someone, it’s just on the low key, so I suggest you look elsewhere in the household of faith.” I said and this time I walked away from him before he said anything else.
“ Mmesoma, Mmesoma!” I shouted Mmesoma’s name from a distance indicating it was time to leave, rather I got a shocking reply...
“ You can go, I will catch up with you. I can find my way back to the hostel” She said and continued her conversation with Papa.
All eyes were on me, especially the sisters I had cleared off my path in Papa’s life. They were obviously watching the movie and waiting to see my reaction....
I did the most noble thing, I took my Bible and headed back to the hostel....
“ Can I walk you down to the hostel” I heard the annoying voice of Brother Kennedy behind me and all I wanted to scream at the top of my voice was what was written in Matt 16:23....

PART 6
“ HIM, HER& I”
( A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“So...What’s up...Did he get a positive answer?” Papa said as he was obviously teasing me
“ What were you expecting?” I asked very angry at him for not opening his mouth to propose me. If he had done the right thing, over-confident irritants like Bro Kennedy won’t have the effrontery to splash saliva on me in the name of asking me out.
“ Well, I believe you know what you want and when what you don’t want comes your way, you discard them” Papa said with a serious tone though he had a smiling countenance.
“Why is Papa behaving this way, it is obvious he likes me and wants me to himself, but he is not opening his mouth to say it. Here he is, speaking in parables..” I reasoned silently with pain in my heart
“ Papa, What do you want?” I asked very frustrated. If he wasn’t going to talk, I was going to force him to..
“ I know what I want and I know when and how to get it...” He said still laughing. This was getting really annoying...If not that God told me He was His will for me, sometimes Papa’s unserious attitude could make you hate him.
“ Am I the one you want or am I just hanging around you deceiving myself?” I blurted out...
You should have seen the shock on his face, but he asked me to sit...
“ Timi, wow, you really have some guts... Well... I like you, but I am yet to get a confirmation from God concerning us. You are the kind of woman I want to spend the rest of my life with...You have been my friend for two years and you know me in and out, but I still need to hear from God...”
“ I have heard from God, He told me I was made for you...” I said
“ Wow... Are you serious?” He said laughing again and jumping ...
“ That is amazing ... I hope God speaks to me soon... In the meantime, Pray that God reveals His perfect will for us...” With that, Papa stood up and took me by the hand in a way to show we were going to the altar...
“ So Mrs Ayorinde to be, can we go eat....” He said jokingly.
Hand -in-Hand, we walked out of the fellowship center and I took that as a validation that he had accepted me as the will of God for his life....
I took up the full responsibility of caring for him more, washing his clothes, cooking for him and chasing away the roaches, until a tiny little roach came in.
Her Name was Mmesoma....
Mmesoma was a transfer student from one of those Christian Private Universities. From what she told me, her parents could not afford her school fees any more and since the fees was way too expensive, she opted out and volunteered to complete her university education in a federal university. Her uncle was the Vice chancellor so the transfer was quite easy.
Her cousin who was my friend from way back secondary school was the one who contacted me to please accommodate her till she could find her own apartment. I obliged her.
Mmesoma looked very beautiful and very harmless. I was the one who caused the trouble. I invited her to join our fellowship as I saw her devotion to God.
She never missed her 5am to 6am devotion every morning. She was so grounded in the Word and she carried herself in a very attractive way. She wasn’t seductive but she had an aura around her that attracted people to her.
The day I invited her to the fellowship and introduced her to Papa, I saw the instant connection. Papa kept casting glances at her through out the service...
I knew there was trouble in my paradise and I needed to act fast..
After Service, I noticed people were saying “hello” to Mmesoma, but I wanted to get her out of the center before Papa reached her. I saw it, I saw Papa going close to her, so I stopped talking to Sis Grace who was trying to show me a new video of a song. I was walking towards Mmesoma in a rush and Yes I got to her in time before Papa.
As I was stylishly pulling Mmesoma out, Papa and the last person I wanted to see in my life walked up to me...
Your guess is so right! Bro Kennedy...
“ Sis Timi, can I have a word with you privately?” Bro Kennedy said
“ I am sorry, I don’t want to keep our new member waiting, I brought her for the service...” I said
“ It’s ok, I will just hang around” Mmesoma said...
“ I will keep her company instead “ Papa said while speaking to someone else. How did he hear our conversation?
There was no way out, Papa was going to speak to Mmesoma, while Bro Kennedy was going to bathe me with saliva all in the name of talking...

PART 5
“HIM,HER & I”
(A love triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“ En En... I am listening SIR...” I said trying to exhibit as much Christian brokenness as possible.
“ You see, Sister Timileyin, I am a very straightforward person and you know I say it as bluntly as possible but honestly for the first time in my life I am short of words, I never knew Love matters could actually make a talkative like me speechless. I believe Papa has told you about my proposal, so there won’t be the need for me to bath you with my saliva ...” he said
“ Yuck! why on earth would he add saliva to the irritating narrative of him proposing me” I literally screamed in my head.
At that point, I really felt like throwing up but I knew Papa was somewhere in the corner, so I tried to comport myself.
“ Bro Kennedy, can we go outside to discuss this?” By the time I was through with what I had in mind for Bro Kennedy, it could paint a negative picture of me in front of my husband to be, so I wanted to control the situation.
“ Ok”... He said with a smile and I once again saw his disjointed, too much gap dentition.
“God forbid, I see this kind of teeth on my wedding day” I said under my breath...
“ You said?” He asked as we walked outside the fellowship center.
“ I was talking to myself”
“Ok... I am with you, Sister Timi” He said as we got to a private place...
“ Bro Kennedy, please and please I beg you in God’s name, don’t you ever see a vision about me. I mean anytime you see me in your dream, beat me out of it, because if you don’t, I might kill you .. Yes ooo, I might kill you in your dream..”
“ Ha!” Bro Kennedy said
“ Yes!, because you are not God’s perfect will for me in marriage!”
“ Really?, how do you know that?” Bro Kennedy asked
“ Well, I have not seen you in my dream and I don’t intend to ...”
“ Oh, so it is until you see a person in your dream that Proves that such a person is God’s will for you...” he asked
“ Exactly!” I replied
“ My goodness, I actually thought you were spiritually matured, Choosing a life partner should not be primarily based on visions and dreams. If I like a sister and I am attracted to her and she possesses the Spirit of God. I see nothing wrong in speaking to her about my feelings. I have always thought you are the kind of woman I would love to marry, but from what you just said, I think I am having a change of mind. I won’t want to marry a woman who lives her life by dreams and visions, because she may not be able to differentiate between dreams from God and the one sponsored by the devil.... Someday, she might see me in her dream trying to kill her and she would believe it hook, line and sinker, believing it is a revelation from God....Good day Sis Timi...” I watched as Bro Kennedy who I was meant to give some words that will make him regret ever thinking about me walk out on me.
“ Did that just happen?” I had to ask myself as I blinked to know if I was awake or asleep.

PART 4
“ HIM, HER & I”
(A Love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“ I have a feeling there is something you want to tell me, but you have been restricting yourself from saying it” HIM said to me about five days later. By that time I was almost through with my job of disengaging the interested sisters. I had gone to each one of them personally with different techniques, either through lies, or prophecy, or casual talks about Papa being engaged to a certain Atinuke. They obviously bought my lie, because they knew I was the closest to papa on campus.
This had made me very lifeless during my conversations with papa, I was always thinking about my next move and always looking around for new predators...
“ Sister Timi, Timileyin...” Him was nudging me...
“ Yes papa...! What is it?” I snapped at him
He raised his eyebrow at me, because I had never snapped at him before in my life...
“ What is wrong?” He said very calmly
Instead of answering, I started crying. I was crying because I was exhausted, I couldn’t believe how wicked I had turned in few days, it’s true about the saying that states “Every form of wickedness starts with innocence”.
“ Are you finding it hard to make up your mind?” HIM asked...
“ Make up my mind about what?” I did a mental questioning
“ If you are not sure about what you want, you can tell Bro Kennedy to give you sometime..” he continued
“ Bro What?” I almost screamed. The mention of Bro Kennedy’s name had me raising my head...
“ Sorry, I don’t understand..?” I managed to ask...
“ You think I wasn’t going to find out, I didn’t know my daughter had started hiding things for me....Well I don’t blame you, people tend to be secretive when it has to do with the matters of the heart...” he teased
“ I honestly don’t know what you are talking about?” I said really confused
“ You mean, he is yet to speak to you about it?, Oh my God... I am too forward...” he said laughing
My heart was pounding fast, his laughter was not making sense, because I didn’t want to hear what he wanted to say might sound like...
“ Bro Kennedy!” I tried to picture him again... Bro Kennedy was a disaster of a brother, he was still living in the 1930’s when we all were far in the future. He wears oversized shirts meant for a 70 year old big sized grandfather. his trousers could convienently take two of his size. Sometimes, he would dress so retro that everyone would try not to laugh at his appearance.
He was always preaching holiness and Hell Fire. He was against prosperity messages. Bible study sessions were always the time for him to argue and argue and argue till the Fellowship Daddy says it is time to close the service. Bro Kennedy would still not keep quiet on the way home...
I therefore was wondering the connection between My light and his darkness, My new life in Christ and his old life in Christ.
“ Papa, What has Bro Kennedy got to do with me...?”
“ Don’t let me speak for him, let him speak for himself...” He said
“ Papa, stop it, I don’t like this, What does Bro Kennedy want from me or better still what did he tell you?” I said in a frustrated way..
“ Calm down... Ok ... He only came to ask me for my blessings to ask you out.” He said
“ Blessings to ask me out?” I said laughing in a delirious manner as I paced up and down the empty fellowship center...
“ Yes, as your spiritual father?, He further asked me to speak to you on his behalf” Papa said as he was obviously teasing me and making fun of the whole scenario...
“ And What did you tell him?” I asked wanting to know his response
“ Well, I didn’t give him the blessing, I told him I was not your father and besides he should be man enough to speak to you by himself...” He said laughing so loudly
“ So, What am I meant to say to him?” I asked hoping to get an answer that will melt my heart...
“ Are you asking me?, Timi at this point you don’t know God’s will for you?” He said
“ God’s will...? “ I asked
“ Yes... God’s will for you in marriage.. You can’t stop men from approaching you, but you are the one to know who you are meant to be with..!” He said
“ Well, I don’t know...” she said
I said hoping this was going to be the moment of revelation...
Then, out of nowhere, the baggy wearing, mood spoiling brother Kennedy walked in shining his Scattered dentition at me.....

PART 3
HIM, HER& I
( A love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
Lo! and behold as the saying goes in the Bible... All eyes on my PAPA. As I turned to the entrance checking constantly to see if Sister Joy would show up, I noticed all the sisters were constantly casting glances at HIM.
“ Oh My God! Like seriously?” I never knew that there were a lot vampires in the fellowship all looking for how to get Papa to themselves . I couldn’t listen to the Bible Study that night, as all I did was to look around at the sisters in the fellowship staring at HIM.
HIM was not the one ministering ooo, but instead of sisters looking at the financial secretary who was taking the Bible Study, they were all checking him out. The part that got me crazy was when HIM’s pen fell on the floor, almost 6 sisters ran towards the pen to pick it...
Highly pathetic....
I did a mental count of the sisters that were noticeably interested in HIM, they were about 8; namely Beatrice,, Gladys, Tunmise, Ayomide, Adaobi, Sharon, Miracle and one other lady I wasn’t familiar with.
“This was not funny!” I said silently to myself as I knew I had to get to all these ladies before they confused my Papa.
After Service, I decided to start with the less attractive girl. I was working on instincts. Miracle was one of those Overspiritual dirty looking sisters. She was always trying to be around Papa. She was part of the praying team.
“ Sis Miracle, Good Evening...” I said as I approached her.
“ Sis Timileyin, Good Evening....how are you?” She replied
“I am fine sis, I have a message for you sis...” I said as I approached her
“ Really?” She said very interested and foolishly she didn’t ask who the message was from, she just assumed it was from the Lord... I only said, I had a message for her, and she just assumed it was from God...
“ What is the Lord saying?” Sis Miracle asked
“I was told to tell you, that the one you have your eyes on Maritally is not the perfect will of God for you in marriage... I don’t know who the person is, but I was told that you should pray more as your husband to be is far away from this land... Infact, from what I saw he is in a country that has red colour in the country’s flag...” I said convincingly
“ Hmmm...” She sighed...
“ What’s wrong?” I asked
“ You really heard from God! You see, I have been having these feelings for Someone close, Papa to be precise, there is no need to hide since God has gone ahead to show you...” She said in a low tone as she pulled me aside
“ Which Papa?” I asked feigning ignorance
“ Same Papa... I notice he looks at me in an unusual way, like he likes me. Also one day, he told me, he loves my name miracle and he would love to name his first daughter by that name... I instantly thought he was interested in me and didn’t know how to say it...”
My jaw almost dropped, I rolled my eyes, but I tried to maintain my cool.
“ But with this message, I guess I need to get my eyes off him...”She said
“ Exactly, So you don’t waste your time and emotions...It is well.” I said
“ Thanks Sis Timi, but I hope you won’t tell Papa about it...!” She said with a defeated voice...
“How?, that will make you lose respect in front of him and other fellowship members, besides you know he has a fiancée by the name Atinuke. He is very quiet about her. I therefore suggest you follow the instruction given to you, and if you don’t mind I can join you in prayers for God to speedily bring your partner to you. I prayed some aggressive prayers before God gave me my fiancé...” I said
“ Really?, You are engaged?” She asked
“ Yes ooo, but my fiancé is abroad, he proposed to me through video call, that’s why I don’t have my ring on and I have not announced properly at the fellowship, ...the plan is that he will bring my engagement ring when he comes to Nigeria in 5 months time...” I said not knowing how I came about that lie, but it was a necessary lie...
“ Aww... that is so cute, I pray God gives me my own man... Thank you so much Sis Timileyin, you are an encourager.” She said and after other chit chats we parted ways...
“ Mission 1 accomplished...”
Was I wrong to have done this?, Was I wrong to have lied to send away the roaches trying to confuse my HIM, I mean afterall God has told me I was made for him. Sis Joy and Miracle were off the queue...

PART 2
“HIM, HER & I”
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“ Sis Timi, Sis Timi, are you with me?... I know it is shocking coming from someone like me, and the truth Sister Timi is that Papa is not really my kind of Man!” Sis Joy kept talking like she was talking to a fool...
“ Indeed, He is not your type?” I said silently under my breath but instead I said out loudly
“I am with you sister Joy, what are the other revelations that confirms Papa is the perfect will of God for you...!” I said trying to suppress my anger
“Infact, A man of God met me on the road two days and he warned me , he said, I quote “ Why are you running away from the will of God, if you miss him, you miss goodness and if he misses you too, he has missed goodness, So you see Sis Timi, please help me talk to Papa, I must not miss him, and he must not miss me either, because as we speak there are a lot of longthroat sisters saying God told them Papa is the will of God for their lives....” Sis Joy said unbelievably
“ En ... En... Really?... so there are a lot of sisters like you?” I blurted out in obvious surprise..
“ Nooooo, I am not part of them, they are all liars, falling for Papa’s Anointing... Mine is genuine and I don’t want him to make a mistake. You know marriage is a delicate issue. If he falls for any of those sisters, he won’t be able to actualize all that he carries. God choosing Me as his wife is not a mistake, because God knows I am a woman of prayer, he needs a woman like me...“ Sister Joy was saying boastfully, but then something dropped in my heart... Bro Tunbosun...
Yes!Bro Tunbosun. He was the publicity officer of the fellowship. Sister Joy had received him as the will of God barely two semesters ago, but the brother said he was already engaged...Did God suddenly change His mind for sister Joy because Brother Tunbosun was not available?
I needed to ask this vision seeing sister that was about to confuse my papa from seeing clearly...
“ Sister Joy, what about Brother Tunbosun, I thought you said the Lord told you he was the will of God for you?” I asked
“ Oh! Him?, he was only the permissive will of God for me, Papa is the PERFECT will of God...!” Sister Joy said and I was more than perplexed...
“ So I am not understanding you!” I suddenly lost the ability to speak good English...
“ You mean God has so many men in the world, that He will create two men for Sister Joy, and name one permissive will and the other Perfect Will... En.. En, and Sister Joy, God decided to first show you the permissive will , before the perfect will?” I asked with a raised eyebrow
“ Sister Timi, are you doubting my ability to hear from God, I have been hearing from God since I was a child...I mean God works in strange ways, he might have been testing me by giving me the permissive will first....” Sister Joy was saying and I had to cut in...
“ Sister Joy, if you were to be someone else I would have concluded that you were confused and needed help, but since you are a spiritual person, I will suggest you pray well and look elsewhere because as we speak, Papa is SERIOUSLY engaged to a lady named Atinuke. He is just quiet about it.” I said
“What? Atinuke... Who is that?” You need to have seen the look of hatred on her face...
“ Well, I have met her and I must tell you, Papa is so much in love with her, she has met his parents and he has done likewise too...”
Sister Joy’s hope had been dashed...
“ Do I know her?” She asked
“ I don’t think so...” I said defiantly as I was getting irritated at her sight. By this time I was already walking away from her...
“ If I were you, I will not mention it to Papa, because your name will be blacklisted like some of the other sisters that has approached him...” I said
“ I advise you let this stay between us, so you don’t lose the respect people have for you in the fellowship...” I said once more scaring her away from my property...
Yes! Papa was my property, He was my husband to be, He was God’s PERFECT Will for me, the only challenge is that, he is yet to recieve the revelation from God...
I know you are wondering who Atinuke was? Well, don’t crack your brain too much, That’s my father’s pet name for calling me...
Yes! Papa was engaged to Atinuke... It was a prophecy, it was going to happen very soon. Papa was going to propose to me. God had told me I was made for him, just like Eve was made for Adam...
I obviously left Sister Joy heartbroken, because she didn’t turn up for the evening service, but as I kept looking towards the door to know if she would show up, I saw something else....

“ HIM, HER & I “
( The love Triangle)
Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
He actually met me before HER. For the sake of this writing, I will be polite enough to refer to this woman as HER. I can’t bear to call her name on my lips, her name feels like gravel on my tongue.
This should tell you how much I don’t want to hear, see and talk about her.
She stole HIM from me.
Who was HIM? Likewise, I won’t give you HIM’s name outrightly. Let’s just refer to both of them as HIM & HER.
I met HIM as a 200 level student, who just met the Lord, I had been a rebellious daughter of my parents, but one day , I met God after watching a stage drama that had been staged publicly by one of the campus fellowships. My heart was won that night by God and HIM.
HIM had featured powerfully as the lead character of the drama that tore my heart to pieces before God. I gave my life and my heart completely to God that night.
However, there was something special about HIM, I couldn’t point it out. Something attracted me to him.
I joined the fellowship with a sincere heart to love and serve God. HIM was the Drama Cordinator and Prayer Cordinator. He wasn’t the Fellowship Pastor but he carried more grace than every other brother in the fellowship. The fellowship pastor was fondly called “Daddy”, while my “HIM” was called “PAPA”... A name I gave him...
I moved closer to HIM as a new convert in Christ who was genuinely hungry for God, so he could help me grow spiritually. He was also interested in my growth and as if things were already premeditated by a higher force, we became inseparable. I became his official Spiritual daughter. I called him Papa.
We were so into each other, so much so that, people thought we were dating.
I cooked his meals, I washed his clothes voluntarily, I cleaned his room. He was always sharing his vision with me, of which he will show me the confirmation from the Scriptures...
Gradually, I started hearing from God and one day I heard these words in my Spirit... “ YOU WERE MADE FOR HIM.”
My joy knew no bounds... I was made for HIM. God had just confirmed my thoughts concerning HIM, my beloved PAPA.
WIth hearts lifted high and bubbling with excitement, I went to the fellowship center, hoping to see HIM. I didn’t know if I was going to share what I heard with him, but I knew I just wanted to see his face....
My mouth was filled with songs of praises, as I walked towards the fellowship center. Oh My! I was on top of the universe. I had started seeing myself as his wife, the vision about him having a 100,000 capacity auditorium was too good to be true. I must have shouted 1000 Halleluya in between my 10 minutes walk to the fellowship center.
Like a burst balloon, you need to have seen me, when Sister Joy of the Prayer Team called me in a rush when I got to the fellowship center...
“ Sis Timi, Good Evening sis... I have been waiting for you to show up...” Sis Joy had said...
“Really?, What’s up?” I asked sis Joy...
“ There is something God has been revealing to me for a while and I don’t know who to share it with, but as Papa’s best friend, I believe I should let you know about it. I know you will be able to share it better with him...” Sis Joy was saying
“ Ok?” I couldn’t wait to hear what it was. I was thinking it was probably a revelation, something I needed to pray about. I wasn’t a person who joked with anything that had to do with Papa. He was my life.
“ You see, for the past three months, I have been having revelations pointing to the fact that Papa is the perfect will of God for my life... “ Sis Joy said
My heart actually stopped beating for some seconds, but gratefully I did not die....
“ You see the very first dream I had, was seeing myself at the top of an Iroko tree, and I saw Papa at the bottom of the tree. He wanted to climb the tree, but there was no ladder... Suddenly, I noticed my hand became so long that I was able to pull him up to the top of the tree. On getting to the top of the tree, he said “Now I know you are my destiny”.... Sis Joy said convincingly
I had my mouth opened wide....
“ I hope you understand me, Sis Timi?, I also saw that...” I kept looking at her with no words for her...
Or What was I meant to say?
To be continued...

FINAL PART...
PART 40
“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”
©Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
It was Sunmibare’s wedding, Sunmibare was getting married to the President’s son. When Oba was Vice president, Sunmibare was a regular visitor to the Office of the President. It was on one of these occasions that the son of the Presiding President saw her with Oba’s son. It was attraction at first sight.
They had exchanged numbers, and from that day, a great friendship developed. Sunmibare was a very smart girl, who was already a surgeon. The young man fell in love with her and in no time, he and Sunmibare became friends.
In two years, both families had approved of their marriage.
Sunmibare’s wedding was attended by the “ Who and Who” of the society, she got wedding gifts that would last her a lifetime; gifts of cars, houses and money.
Sunkanmi was present to officially hand her over to her husband. Micheal had insisted he did the honours. He jokingly said...
“ I was only a caretaker, I know I will get my reward for that in Heaven. Pastor Sunkanmi is her Father..” Michael had said
Sheryl was the official musician of the Day, though she was one of the bridal train.
When it was time for the father and daughter dance, Sunkanmi could not control his emotions, as he kept crying…
“ God thank you for still bringing out beauty from my ashes, thank you for turning my mess to blessing. Thank you for loving me when I was unlovable. Thank you father”. He said in his heart as he danced with his daughter…
Ola watched Sunmibare and Sunkanmi as they danced together, Michael held her hand comforting her, but she smiled at Micheal telling him, She was fine.
Silently, in her heart, she spoke to her father…
“Thank you for making me smile, thank you for making Sunmibare push me towards Greatness. Sunmibare; the product of my being raped that was meant to bring me shame has brought me honor, God has used her to make me sit with dignitaries.
Thank you, Father, for everything. Now, I know that you know and see everything, you have the end of a matter in your hands, so no matter what we go through, we should never try to play God, rather lay low letting you have your way. Thank you for beautifying my farmland despite my several hurts.”.
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR ( Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde) AS INSPIRED BY GOD…..
Dear friend, the Word of God clearly states that “For we are God's co-workers. You are God's FARMLAND and God's building.”1 Corinthians 3:9 International Standard version, therefore, see your life as God’s farmland, meaning everything you plant on it must be what God approves of. You cannot plant trash on it, you cannot put rottenness on it. You must also know that your life (God’s farmland) does not belong to you, you need to nurture it carefully. The Tools of your farmland (gifts, talents, money, wealth, power, position, fame,) were given to you by God, you therefore must use His tools for His glory…
Therefore, have you been planting the wrong crops on your farm, has your farmland been hijacked by the devil, or have you been using your tools wrongly, it is time to get down on your knees before God and ask for Mercy.
Speak to Him, He is your father, and mend your ways.
I pray for you that ´My Father’s Farmland´ which is your life and my life will yield good crops that will grow as mighty trees that will be firmly and deeply rooted for God’s glory in Jesus name.
God bless you.
Prayers
• Oh lord, Let me be firmly and deeply rooted in you in Jesus name
• My Farmland that has been hijacked by the Devil, Oh Lord recover it back by your Mercy in Jesus Name.
• The tools that you have given me, the money, the talents, the position that has been hijacked by the devil, I recover it today in the name of Jesus Christ
THE END….
If this story has blessed and touched your life, remember to say a Word of Prayer for the Author, Mrs. Opeyemi Akintunde née Ojerinde, the writer of this story as INSPIRED by the HOLY SPIRIT... that God never departs from her Life and Home...

Education*the Truth About What Happened During The Fuoye Protest* * by HoluwaLoniGlory(op): 12:42am On Sep 11, 2019
*THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE FUOYE PROTEST*
*TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 10 2019*

The issue of Inadequate power supply as been as issue in Nigeria as a whole. The light issue in oye and Ikole is quite appalling. The students have kept quiet for a while but they just can't take it anymore.
Last semester in Ikole Campus, there was a protest which brought results for a while but it seems the electricity distribution officials aka NEPA have failed to fulfill their promises.

This morning students on both campuses(ikole and oye) got to school only to see the gates locked.
We are tired of reading in the dark! The students of Fuoye living off campus deserve light.

Heartbreaking to see the fake news posted on top blogs and websites in the country concerning the Fuoye student's protest. The students didn't attack Mrs Bisi Fayemi(Wife of the State Governor) , she did!

The students on both campuses (Oye and Ikole) went out for a peaceful protest...why?
The epileptic power supply on both campuses is so appaling.....
Some students in Ikole were having lectures when the members of the SUG called the students out for a peaceful protest...
The students went out en masse for the protest! and locked the NEPA office , they then went to the palace of the King of Ikole . Not long after they heard that a student of Ikole who happened to be a class govenor in 100L had been shot dead by the police! This young man went to join is fellow comrades in oye campus only to get shot in the EYE!
They got angry ,went back to the NEPA office and burnt it down...thank God no one was in the building

At Oye Campus
Mrs Bisi Fayemi's was with her convoy on a tour passing through the oye/ikole road then students stopped her at oye hoping she could help with the issue on ground ,according to reports she ordered the shooting of these poor students and they ran for their dear lives.

“Then the police officers started manhandling and chasing the students.

“The students repelled by stoning the officer and the police started shooting our students sporadically which led to the death of one and several were injured.”

FUOYE Students Union President, Comrade Oluwaseun Awodola, however denied the students attacked the Governor wife’s convoy.

“I was sleeping when my PA came that the army official wants to see me. I went to the official and we approached the road.

“On getting to the road side which was closed to the police office, the Mopol said the CSO was around.

“All of a sudden a CPU(moral) official from nowhere came and slapped me.

“Immediately the CSO was begging me and other security officials

“Students came over and they were like they want to see the person that slapped me.

“At first i was aggrieved but later I was calm. We left the scene then the CSO was like once we get to the Governor’s office the police officer will apologise.

“Nobody attacked the convoy of the Governor’s wife. We already agreed we will be having a meeting with the Special Adviser to the Governor and NLC executives tomorrow by 10am before we meet at the school gate tomorrow.

“All of a sudden, a Mopol official fired gun shots. Immediately, students were like why did he shoot?

“The CSO to the Governor came immediately and told the Mopol to stop shooting.

“They started shooting teargas, gun and the likes. Then students started throwing stones that was how everything started.

” Nobody attacked the governor’s wife convoy. We ended the protest around 2pm,” he said.

According to the report students did not lead the attack until the governor wife ordered the shoot out of students and the news reports that are convoy vehicle's where destroyed and that she escaped in Ayegbaju, which is not true.
When the students realized a fellow student had been attacked they went wild and attacked the police men.
So far 4 students are dead, 2 injured and 3 policemen are dead.
The policemen went furher to go to Student hostel to shoot and fire tear gas! More new coming

Students are not hoodlums!
Students should be respected
The Vicechanncellor has ordered students to leave the school premises latest by 10am tomorrow morning!
The school will be on lock down till further notice

“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”

It was a very big concert and all the tickets had been sold out… It was the live Concert of Sheryl; THE SAVED SINGER.
Ope’s daughter took after her mother musically. She even used her mother’s stage Acronym “SS”. Ope was Sexy Sasha, but Sheryl, though called “SS”, made it clear to everyone that it meant SAVED SINGER.
Mama Aladura, left the mountain praying business and sat at home raising Ope and Lucky’s children. She invested in them Spiritually. She even took it further by praying for Lucky and her daughters, believing that it was not too late for them despite their ages.
God, being Merciful worked on her daughters’ marriages and on Lucky’s salvation.
Lucky became genuinely born again, and he devoted his musical experience towards making Sheryl a Celebrity for God.
At 24, Sheryl had become a household name, doing the opposite of what her mother did during her lifetime.
Lucky later got married to a widow, and they lived happily ever after.
Oba, become a popular Christian in Politics, which explained why his party was voted for by most Christians when he was nominated to be the Vice President candidate for his party.
After Oba had escaped death, his orientation changed, instead of waiting for the government to do things for the populace, he spearheaded public projects by himself. With the money God had blessed him with, he did mini road constructions in his locality, he motivated wealthy citizens to sponsor poverty alleviation programs for the less privileged. He bought free textbooks for public school pupils. He bought Buses and made it a FREE public school bus for the less privileged children.
When he was nominated as the Vice President candidate for his party, Heaven and earth rose up to make sure he became Vice president.
He served as Vice President for 8 years and President for Another 8 years serving the populace with all of his heart and mind.
Ola drew many to Christ through his exemplary leadership. He was loved by all, including the citizens who were of the other faith.
God really made him a King ( Oluwasomidoba.)

“She is the C.E.O of TRUTH INC. and over 24 other businesses.
She is the Initiator of the “Girl Rise & Walk Program”, a program that caters for sexually abused girls.
She is the Initiator of the “Dumb but not Dumb foundation” A foundation that caters for vocally impaired citizens.
She is a philanthropist who has over 20 orphanages scattered across the country…
She has a housing scheme for pregnant teenagers who need shelter for the period of pregnancy…
Please, with a clapping ovation, we would like to invite Mrs KIkiolaoluwa Micheal Oluwadunsi to please step on to the podium to receive the honorary award of the “THE WOMAN OF THE YEAR.” The master of the ceremony said
As Kikiolaoluwa walked towards the podium with her husband walking side by side, she felt the kind of Joy she had recently started feeling.
“God told me some time back under very harsh conditions, that my being blessed was a privilege given to me, so that I could be a blessing to many nations. Before that, I made money for myself, buying houses, having fleets of cars, travelling all around the world.
I was happy but I never made heaven happy. After realizing my wrong, I made attempts to change my ways. Prior to that, My aim was to be the richest woman in Africa, and I thought I could achieve that by hoarding all I had, little did I know that God’s word in Proverbs 11: 24 was true. It is written that “Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.”
The moment I started giving, the less I struggled to be rich. The moment I realized my wealth was to make God known, the more I became richer, the more I invested in seed sowing, in helping the poor, the orphans, the more I became richer, and today without struggling, but by putting smiles on people’s faces I have gotten two awards in just one year. “THE RICHEST WOMAN IN AFRICA & THE WOMAN OF THE YEAR.”
I have learnt that the world we live in is God’s Big Farmland, and we all have our individual spaces, which I will like you to see as individual farm spaces. I have learnt to plant good crops on my farmland.
I thank God for teaching me this big lesson and every other lesson I got to learn, I am grateful for the privilege to be a blessing to a lot of people.
I thank my wonderful husband, who stood by me, from way back when I was nothing. His love shows me what life should be about, “LOVE, ACCEPTANCE & HELP” even when the person has nothing to offer back.
My husband met me, when I had been raped, I was pregnant and poor, and yet he choose to love me and marry me. That is true love that we all should possess for one another.
I thank the organizers of the Award, thank you, this is very thoughtful. I return all Glory to God, for the privilege.
I am grateful, that I am privileged to show forth God’s wealth ( Kikiolaoluwa)” Ola said this in her acceptance speech...

Sukki got married to a beautiful lady.
Sukki was 47 when he tied the knot with Morise, who was 42 years old.
She was one of the Spiritual daughters of Pastor Ayo and Mrs Banke. She was a former prostitute who the Lord saved through Pastor Ayo and Mrs Banke.
Morise became born again through Pastor Ayo when she was 30 years old, and With the help of God, she went through a lot of spiritual exercises to cleanse her from all unrighteousness and be fit for the masters’ use.
Sukki started his church 6 months after Ope’s death. The church grew speedily in no time. The church was well attended as Pastor Sunkanmi taught the Word with depth. A one-time herbalist’s son, rapist and half-baked preacher, who surrendered himself unto the Lord, received Mercy and became a useful tool in the hands of the master.
Sukki was formally introduced to Sunmibare, and a great friendship sprang up between Father and child.
Morise during her wayward years had her womb removed, so giving birth was not part of the plan for her and Sunkanmi.
She had told Sunkanmi about it before marriage and Sunkanmi had said…
“We are products of a man who God delayed his childbearing to cater for us, so why don’t we also make ourselves available for God to be used to become parents to orphans … Let’s reduce God’s stress…” Sukki had said jokingly and together with his wife, they opened a foundation named “God’s Special ones”
They built a twin duplex beside their house, to house these orphans. They made it a duty to act as full-time parents to them, checking on them daily, except they were out of the country for ministrations…Sunkanmi’s Life turned out better than how anyone thought it would.

PART 27
“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”
©Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
Let’s take a look at Ola’s farm, while you think over what your judgement should be…” FATHER said to Oba as Ola followed after HIM…
Ola’s Land was so large, and thankfully, she didn’t have blood on her land, rather her farm had a lot of rotten fruits. A lot of fruits were overripe and had fallen to the ground thereby causing rottenness.
“Ola, you sowed the seeds of hard work and prayer for fruitfulness on your farm, and you got a bountiful harvest, but you have done what has made your farmland a rotten place…”
Ola looked on, wondering what the rottenness meant, as she had tried to live a good life.
“You amassed wealth for yourself and never gave out. Your crops, your fruits were multiplying, but you didn’t give out… Your reason was simple! You felt you had suffered greatly while growing up and you didn’t want to become poor again. But Kikiolaoluwa, now that you have left the earth, won’t someone else take over your position and enjoy your wealth?
Your land kept producing unending harvest, but you didn’t give out the fruits. Don’t you think I should take this farmland from you and give it to someone worthy, someone who will be able to help some of my other farmers who may not have seeds to sow on their lands?
Kikiolaoluwa, your being blessed was for you to a blessing to others, to my work and my workers, but your case was like that of a nanny who was given food for herself and the children, but ended up starving the children, while eating the food all alone, What do you think should be done to the Nanny...” Father said
Ola knew Father was right, She had attended a lot of finance and money management training seminars, that had made her very disciplined when it came to giving out her money. That discipline was definitely selfishness in disguise.
“All the pains, injuries you went through, Kikiolaoluwa, I permitted you to go through those phases to create in you an understanding of what other less privileged farmers were going through.
Like I told you earlier, injuries are not out of the ordinary for farmers. I permitted the rape injury so you could feel, understand and cater for those who might have been raped, I permitted the pregnancy so that you could feel the pain of teenage single mothers. I was expecting that as you grew financially, you would build homes for the less privileged people, but you were less concerned about them.
Kikiolaoluwa, I permitted you to be dumb for a short while, with the high expectations that when your wealth comes, you will care for the less privileged with disabilities.
I made you and your siblings go through financial hardship and educational hardship, so that when the harvest I had prepared for you and your siblings manifested, you would be able to help the less privilege who had financial issues and educational issues.
Rather, Ola You never helped people despite the compassionate heart I made you have, you have been buying properties, saving your money, and getting the public recognition as the 7th Richest woman in Nigeria, who cannot boast of blessing people.
Your Staff don’t enjoy the privilege of the wealth you have, your church doesn’t, and other workers in my farmland…
Ola, who is worse?
Ola, the orphan who God took from a low position and raised her up to the level of becoming a blessing to nations, but unfortunately, she blessed nobody other than her family and few friends, thereby making her farmland rotten littered with rotten overripe fruits
Or
Sunkanmi who despite having a rough farmland still tried to bless people with the blessings he was blessed with. Sunkanmi had 250 students on scholarship, 80 widows he fed every month, he was a regular giver to the things of God...He did this even when he was ignorantly living in Sin. After his genuine repentance and his once rotten land had been cleared, he stil continued in the act of blessing people...
So, Answer me, who is worse?... Kikiolaoluwa who is more of a sinner?

“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”
©Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
“We are gathered here together to pay our last respects to our beloved Sister, mother, friend, daughter, celebrity who is presently resting in the bosom of our Lord, Jesus Christ,” the pastor said during Idiopemipo’s funeral service.
Ola could not stop her tears, she knew her sister was not resting in the bosom of our Lord, Jesus Christ as popularly proclaimed. She had been banished from His presence for using her God-given gifts against her creator.
Oba and Ola had discussed what they had seen and they were surprised that they had both seen the same thing.
They both rededicated their lives to Christ and vowed to judiciously use the opportunity of the additional years they had gotten from God for His glory.
Oba and Ola exchanged looks as the pastor said Ope was resting in the bosom of the Lord Jesus, Ola decided to use the opportunity to speak the truth…She wrote a note to the pastor that she would love to say a few words.
After about 5 minutes of the pastor preaching, Ola stepped to the podium and said…
“ I know if my Sister Idiopemipo were to be here today, or better still, if she could have sent us a message from where she is, I believe these are the words she would have loved to say…
Number one, Live your life like you don’t own it, Always remember God created you, hence He is the one who owns the copyright to your life
Two, Live your life pleasing God in deeds and with your talents because He was the one who gave you the gift in the first place...
Three, Let not the love of money, fame and power push you away from God, because when your time is up on the earth, you will leave all that behind, and that God you have pushed far away from you is the same God you will have to face without a choice…
I am sure if Ope could send us a message from where she is, she would love to tell all parents to remember to water their children every day, before watering their career, and businesses, because at the end of the day, your children are the plants that will grow into big trees where you as parents will hide in your old age from the sun and rain of life…
I am sure Ope would have loved to tell Sheryl her daughter, that nothing pays that serving God with your skills and talents.
Kikiolaoluwa said this looking towards Ope’s celebrity friends who came to grace the occasion. She continued…
I am sure Ope would have loved to tell Robin, her first son, that life is too short not to make the right choices.
I am sure Ope would have loved to tell my daughter, Sunmibare that our background should never make us turn our backs to our creator…” Kikiolaluwa said
“As Idiopemipo’s twin, I know a thousand things my sister would have loved to say to everyone seated here, but I will summarize in one sentence…
She would want to tell you this...
“ In all that you do, in all that you have, and in all position that you find yourself, do everything to Love the Lord your God, obey His commandments, and live every day of your life in Christ, bearing in mind that after death is judgement.”
Everywhere was quiet, a lot of people had graced the occasion, including celebrities, politicians and Ola felt that was a great time to win souls.
The funeral had people thinking, Ola didn’t tell anyone if Ope made heaven or not, but she had made them look inward, and forced them to do a self-appraisal.
It was a solemn day for all....

PART 35
“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”

“ Please Father, I have lived amongst humans, I have worn the skin of humans. I know how it feels when a human is hurt... I remembered crying to you to let the cup pass over me. I can say for a fact that I know the hurt and pain Ola must have felt when she saw Sunkanmi... but I know what you want is that humans should learn to forgive one another, which was why I prayed to you before leaving the earth that “ Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing”.
I know Ola is guilty of not learning that part of Godly living but please for the sake of my death, please give Kikiolaoluwa another chance... Please father...Remember the good works of her parents...Your son Amos Jenriayegbe was a good and godly man.” The SON said to the FATHER.
While the Son spoke to the FATHER, everywhere was quiet, Father looked without saying a word...
FATHER wept...
FATHER Loved all His creatures, but most of his creatures did not Love Him...
His son knew the Love FATHER had for mankind was deep, so His son said one last sentence that made Father have a rethink about His judgement...
“Deal with Ola and Oba according to your Love and not according to their sins...”
**********
Ola felt like he fell into his body...
Pelumi was holding her husband’s hand when she felt his hand move... She had been speaking in tongues continuously for the past 30 minutes with tears flowing down her face...
“Jesus!” She exclaimed...
“Oba, Oluwasomidoba... Can you hear me...”
“ Yessss” Oba responded weakly...
Oba looked around the room and he was grateful, he wasn’t in the farmland again. God had given him a second chance... Hot tears flowed down his face…
What about Ola? Did Ola make it? He looked around trying to find out if Ola was in the same room...
“O…la?” He tried to say to his wife...
“In the next room...” Pelumi replied
“Alive?” He asked
“She is still breathing, but not yet awake..” Pelumi replied
“Lord, please....” He remembered every little detail of what he had seen...
Pelumi fell to the ground rolling on the ground in tears…
“Thank you father, for not putting me to shame... Thank you for making all my seeds speak for me... Thank you…Thank you for not turning me to a widow, suddenly”
“Pastor Sunkanmi?” He asked his wife
“We don’t know where he is, Michael has been trying to reach him...” Pelumi rose up
“ God, please give Ola a second chance, please ....” He said quietly
“Please take me to Ola’s room” he managed to say...
“You need to be calm, you cannot just rise up and walk up to her room...” Pelumi said...
Oba obeyed Pelumi...
************
Ola didn’t wake up for days. Oba sat by her side for days praying she would wake up...
Sukki decided to pay them a visit, though in fear, because he didn’t know what to expect. When Oba saw him, he knelt before him asking him to forgive them for trying to play God concerning him. Sukki also apologized for the wrong He ever did to his family...
Sukki asked for permission to be alone with Ola...
“Oh Lord, for the hurt I caused her in the time of ignorance, Please let her live, Forgive her for her unforgiveness towards me, I got my punishment of living a promiscuous life, I have not been able to settle down in marriage for over 25 years, which I pray daily to you about, but Mrs Ola has a wonderful family who loves her... Father think of our daughter together, she would be devastated to lose her mother...Therefore, please let her live...For the sake of your call upon my life, let her live in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son.”
Kikiolaoluwa sneezed and came back to life…
Sukki jumped back in fear, in awe of Who God was…
He fell to his knees weeping…
*************
Father had released both of them that day…His judgement had been...
“ For the sake of my son, Jesus Christ, I release you to go back to your bodies, but Kikiolaoluwa, you will remain at the gate until Sunkanmi comes to pick you up at the gate…”
Oba and Ola had walked towards the gate of the farmland, Oba had been allowed to pass through the gate. Ola watched as Oba disappeared into a faraway light… Ola had to wait for Sunkanmi to come pick her up. She waited and waited until she suddenly saw him coming towards the gate of the farmland…
Sukki held Ola by the hand and took her towards the light….
*************
“ Thank you…Jesus...Thank you..” Ola said faintly as she saw that she was back to life. She saw Sukki weeping, and she wanted to tell him, she was the one who ought to be crying…, but she didn’t have the strength, she only managed to say…
“ I am so…rry”…

PART 34
“MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”
©Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
Oba and Ola saw as different people raised their voices on their behalf, especially Sukki. Ola wept putting the blame on herself for her selfishness and lack of forgiveness...
FATHER was moved by the voices, but HIS mind was made up, He wanted to transfer Ola’s wealth to someone else.
He wanted to give the wealth to someone who could use the money to bless lives... FATHER gave wealth to people he trusted to use it for the less privileged, widows, orphans and most importantly for His House and all that had to do with Evangelism.
Ola realized what FATHER was about to do, by virtue of her selfishness, she had acted wickedly to people. She didn’t give people money, She believed anyone who didn’t have money was lazy. FATHER was about to take her wealth and give it to a righteous person, no wonder the Bible made it clear that...
“ Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.” Proverbs 13:24
As Ola watched, she remembered a message one of her pastors had preached in a church service which she felt the pastor was trying to push them to drop their money...
“ We must have deep passion for the things of God, please note that God has blessed you, for the good of the house of God...God made Joseph a Vice President In Egypt, to go ahead of the Israelites so that he will be able to help the children of God during the famine. It was through Joseph’s presence in Egypt that the Children of God were given the best place in the land...You have been blessed to be a blessing to the body of Christ, Your talent, your money and position is for the good of the body of Christ…”
Ola remembered turning her deaf ear to the rest of the sermon... But at that moment she realized the man was right, despite Joseph suffering as she did, he still forgave his brothers and blessed people.
FATHER must have read her thoughts as he said...
“ If there is anyone I am going to show Mercy to, it will be to Oba, for the sake of His wife who has done a lot of good to the body of Christ with Her prosperity...”
Oba knelt down thankfully as He knew the political evil he had done did not make Him qualify for Mercy, but Pelumi’s influence in his life was about to earn him another chance in life...
“But what about Ola?” He reasoned quietly as he could not bear to look FATHER in the eye...
He had lost one sister, couldn’t God have mercy on Ola, though she was the one who landed them in this mess because of her unforgiveness...Oba reasoned in tears as he heard...
“ This is my judgement.....” FATHER said with a tone of finality in His voice

PART 33
“ MY FATHER’S FARMLAND”
©Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde
Meanwhile, Sukki placed a call to Pastor Ayo informing him about what was happening, he heard little Iyanuoluwa crying in the background.
Iyanuoluwa was the miracle baby God had given Pastor Ayo and his wife, Mrs Banke after 30 years in marriage. It was shortly after he returned back for the Spiritual Mentoring that Pastor Mrs Banke got pregnant after 29 years in marriage.
“ Daddy, I want you to join me in prayers for...” He narrated all that happened in the past few hours.
Pastor Mrs Banke on hearing fell down before the Lord, praying for Ola...She and Ola had lost contact and she had not heard from her. She had only seen her and her siblings on T.V. She had thanked God for their lives on how God had helped them, especially when Oba became Governor of their state. She didn’t try to re-establish a relationship with them as she felt, she didn’t add anything to their lives the time she had the opportunity to do so...
Now was the time, she felt she could do something, she felt the trio could not just end their lives that way considering their earliest struggles in life. Pastor Mrs Banke posted on the church’s social media page asking people to intercede for Oba and Ola as it had been officially confirmed Ope ( Sexy Sasha) was dead.
Different voices were raised up at the same time...
Pastor Ayo, Mrs Banke, Sukki, Austin, Micheal, Pastors, Sunmibare & her siblings, Pastor Ayo’s church members were raising their voices on behalf of Kikiolaoluwa in particular.
Pelumi( Oba’s wife), her parents, her children and the men and women of God who had ever eaten from Oba’s table courtesy of Pelumi’s seed sowing, all raised their voices in intercession for Oba...
*************
At the same time, on the farmland, “the big tree” on Oba’s farm was shaking, bowing and shouting Mercy...This was because the writer of the story, which Oba and Pelumi had donated towards making her story into a movie, posted on her social media page ..
“Please help raise a voice for the Executive producer of our recent movie, he is presently in coma. If that movie ever blessed you, just take a minute and join us to cry unto the Lord for Mercy...”
Thousands of people raised up prayers in response to the post...
As FATHER was about to declare His judgement...Thousands of voices that sounded harmoniously like a choir kept shouting “ MERCY FATHER” on behalf of Oba and Ola...
