Let me offer a different view.

You will not make money from blogging in 2018 and beyond because the money isn't there. You will make money from :

a. employment as a programmer
b. e-commerce
c. developing and running applications

These three areas are growing very rapidly in Nigeria. Look in that direction and the gold will be yours.

This is the closest thing to a truth I have read on this thread. Except there is a way bit people are being too negative about it because they think making money is easy. Since you mentioned programming, have you heard of blockchain? SteemPress is built on it but the moment people hear of crypto, they run. Oh well.

I don't get much traffic from search engines and rank for only a hand full of keywords though I write my posts with sea skills and keywords in mind. Someone said its cos I'm on blogger but the person was a webmaster so i thought he was just looking for a job. I've also heard of yeast seo that helps. Please, i need really good advice. Will moving my blog to wordress help me get traffic authomatically.

There's lots of traffice comeing form goggle but most of it seems to be of little value as if its bots. Search engine traffic is low and stuff.

See I don't have strength to type. If you do two things right now, it may be what gives you the biggest win you can ever imagine from blogging

1. Move to WordPress.

2. Integrate it with Steempress.io
