Earlier this week Fulani bandits sent a threatening letter to bring war to the communities along Ugbegun/Ekusi Oyo settlement, Owo, Ondo state

Findings shows that most of the inhabitants of these communities, camp and villages have ran away and relocated due to the threat and past experience they've had with these bandits.

On the 6th/7th of July 2026, the residents of Ugbegun farming communities and other nearby settlements received a threatening letter of bloodshed from the Fulani terror gang informing the communities of their planned attack on Ugbegun communities.

This have caused panic, worries and restlessness among the inhabitants of these communities and neighboring farming settlements, informing necessary security stakeholders, activists, local chiefs, traditional rulers, members of local vigilante and others to be aware and take necessary proactive security and traditional measures to combat the threat before becoming a reality.

Some communities in Kwara South also received similar letters from these terror groups before they attacked them (according to source). Many school of thought have popularized the Art of war principle " Attack is the best form of Defense "

It is high time the communities along Ugbegun/Ekusi Oyo/Ojana/Ago Oyinbo/Amenhinti form a joint security taskforce working together in supporting the vigilantes, involving Amotekuns and other established security apparatus to comb the forest and set up a security post in this area, to watch the movement of people during the day and night, question unrecognized faces and arrest when necessary for further interrogation.

I want to use this medium to appeal to other concern citizens to please support the local vigilantes with necessary financial aid to procure firearms, motorcycles, communication gadgets and other modern day security equipments, as they are the first responder to any security breach in these areas.

Security function should not be neglected only for the police and armed forces of Nigeria, but the duties and responsibilities of everyone to play their parts in ensuring a peaceful, thriving and violent free communities in Owo local government area of Ondo state and Nigeria at large.

In this part of the world, many see national and electoral representation as a lottery jackpots rather than service to the people who elected them with their votes and approval.

The desperation to emerge ahead of other candidates in many political contest, have turned many bright visionary individuals into assasins and terror promoter by arming willing youths to maim and kill opponents who are in the race of similar course within the same party and others of different political party.

This bitter politics have been integrated into Nigeria democracy, and have led to the loss of breadwinners of some households, enmity between close friends and archrivalry among members of the same community who see winning the election as a do or die affair, and ready to uproot any stumbling group or individual they perceive as internal and external threat.

Some individuals whose belly interest comes first before communal interest, join political race without clear vision and practical manifesto, depending on godfather approval after allocating cash gifts to party leaders to declare them as party flag bearers even when they are not popular among the people. It is true that some aspiring politicians take loan from financial and credit institutions to finance their electoral campaign with promise to repay back the credit instrument after victory in the election.

This orientation and perception is been passed down to the next generation of leaders, with followers carefully studying the actions of the leaders, with councillors adopting the corrupt pattern of state assembly members as a political strategy and decoy through mismanagement, kickbacks, diversion of resources meant for community and constituency development.

The new generation of aspiring leaders are already innovating corrupt practices and public service fraud. We can identify them through their actions and statements when their masters in political offices are been questioned by their constituents on how they utilise constituency development fund and budget, even when it is obvious that their master is not honest in their response, the followers will defend their leaders even if it required them to tell lies and deceive the electorates with propaganda and fictitious figures, they call this dishonest principle "Loyalty".

Truly, everyone needs to protect the bakery where he/she is getting his/her daily bread from, what if the bakery bread is only reaching the least of people but the air pollution from the bakery is affecting majority of people?

Until corrupt practices in public service attract death penalty and other capital punishments, the new generation of aspiring representatives in government offices are already mastering the lessons of maladministration and exploitation at the expense of the masses, while recruiting social media praise singers as data boys to defend their heist, and other impoverished individuals as foot soldiers ready to wage war when questions for accountability and transparency arises from concerns citizens and members of their constituents.

The double standard practices of Nigeria media outlets and it subsidiaries have contributed to the widespread morale decadence and value deterioration prevalent across the country.

Giving media promotion and attention to individuals of questionable characters as socialites, while entrepreneurs and positive change makers don't enjoy the same patronage from their digital media timeline and dailies without meeting the cumbersome promotional charge and levies.

Nigeria influencers and their associates do not promote positive contents that can influence the next generation positively but very quick to react to topics like sextape, gossips, new dance steps e. t. c in the name of drawing attention and traffic, but ignoring the psychological effects on the mind of the youths that without engaging in sextape and other immoral acts they can't get promoted or turn to celebrities.

There is need for quick action and redress to tackle this negative influence the media houses are powering unknowingly, and enough reason for the government ministry of information and orientation to censor certain content creators and lifestyle that are not projecting positivity into the lives of the youths but encouraging foolishness in our society.

Every publication on media channels and newspaper pages should meet certain criteria before publishing, contents that doesn't meet certain standard should be subjected to social media offence and should attract a penalty under the social media regulation bill.

This will serve as a yardstick for the regulation and sanitation of our media space of character defiling and morale decaying contents/topics fueling value deterioration, corruption and negative influence among the next generation.

"Senate Approval of the State Police Bill and the Regional Politricks of Interest that follows

The state Police Bill is one of the most appealing security measures Nigerians have been agitating for and it approval brings soothing relief of hope in curbing the menace of escalating insecurity.

In the Month of June, The house of representatives approved the forwarded Executive bill for the creation of state Police and it framework, few weeks later, the Nigerian Senate assented to the policy after years of deliberation on it workabililities without conflicting already existing policing structure. The bill in the Upper chamber was assented to by a majority vote without opposition, marking it as the first executive bill proposed to the legislative without a vote against.

Some states have agitated for the creation of community policing and state policing structure to tackle rising banditry and violent terrorism wrecking havoc in their States, where another state in Northern parts of the country is sponsoring bandits kingpins and their sponsors to Hajj with each one getting at least ₦10million for their pilgrimage expenses (according to source).

What's next after Senate approval?

The hope of affected communities is that the State Police creation is not turned to another political structure and game of interest where staffing slots is reserved for card carrying members of only the ruling party, associates of politicians, political praise singers and others who are not really passionate about security and protection of local communities.

It's a remarkable event in the history of Nigeria for the creation of state police but it execution should regard merit based system, experiences,intelligence, passion, justice driven authority rooted in inclusion of locals with effective administrative structure and foundation for it smooth operation alongside the already existing federal policing system.

With the power vested in each state governor to appoint the commissioner of state police, Nigerians are hoping that the organization will not derail from the purpose of establishing it in the nearest future and turned to election rigging agency working for the interest of the state governor, or not turned to another group that will be oppressing innocent citizens like the suspended SARS unit of the federal police."

The biting economic hardship and undying tolerance spirit of an average Nigerian in the face of acute austerity and threatening insecurity

One of the most strongest people on earth are the Nigerians for their will and unbreakable spirit amidst life threatening challenges and economic maladies that could render an average citizen of other countries handicapped and broken.

The hope of better tomorrow and never give up mentality have made many households surmounted against skyrocket inflation and systemic poverty that could have crippled weak minded citizens of other countries.

Nigerians are wonderfully and specially made, they excel both home and abroad, they flourish where others are struggling, but the foundational problems of the country since inception have transformed and persisted with each government promising change, next level and reigniting the dying spark of remaining hope in the face of Herculean austerity.

The current price of cooking gas, petroleum, diesel and other bye products of crude oil extracted from our ground and shores have drawn criticisms from those who depend on these products on a daily basis and others who are asking questions if the removal of fuel subsidy is detrimental or beneficial to the commoners, and why the upward movement in slope of selling price after years of the subsidy removal .

Reforms takes time but the groaning and hardship if not quickly addressed can further leads to frustration and depression.

Civil unrest caused by hardship combined with the widespread insecurity is not a fire the government at all levels can quench easily.

With large numbers of youths lost to drug abuse to avoid the reality of depression and subject themselves to fantasy of using cannabis mixed with Canada loud to fly to Canada during daytime, while using cigarettes crushed with colos for a trip to Colorado in the United States of America without a visa or boarding a flight.

The restlessness we are facing in some parts of Nigeria today have it root in corruption, injustice, moral decadence and deteriorating value system.

The most popular topic in the federal Republic of Nigeria today is insecurity and banditry, which have claimed thousands of lives introspecting from the actions of violent groups wrecking havoc from the North to the South for over a decade now.

When the ideology rooted crises began from the northern part of Nigeria some years ago, the elites from that of the country and political leaders turned it into politics, empowered it as a means to uproot the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan who they see as misfit and kafir (been an ijaw Christian from the South), who must be removed either by force or by crook or through the ballot.

The Hydra snake originated as a movement against western education (Boko haram) spreading into deeper part of the North where Sharia was already established as islamic education, code of conduct in settling dispute and unofficial state religion.

Majority of the politicians and traditional rulers were sympathizing with the cause of the boko haram, as majority see them as activists wielding gun fighting for the interest of the North and also promoting islamic principles. Some with conquest mindset see the boko haram movement as a foot soldiers of the North to be used in conquering the other parts of the country in the nearest future, instead of them to condemn the actions of the group against the Nigerian state, they speak in defending the violent extremism of this group and demanded that the government of Nigeria grant them amnesty.

The patronage this group was getting from the northern elites gave birth to other factions of similar ideology but of different command structure pursuing the same cause. With out-of-school children littering across the part of the country as almajiri without formal education, a perfect hub for recruitment of children soldiers, suicide bombers and next generation of kachalla springing across other geopolitical zones today and spreading terror.

The Enthronement of Buhari as the president of Nigeria gave invitation and nod to Fulani fighters, mercenaries, rebel groups in the Sahel and Central Africa region to troop to Nigeria to conquer and possess, while the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders association act as spokesperson defending the violent actions of french speaking mercenaries disguising as herders waging war on farmers, farming communities and villages from State to state with major occupation of Southern Kaduna, Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, Nassarawa between 2015-2023.

The sponsors of these groups in the Nigeria government and military turned the massacre of innocent villagers into farmers-herders clashes, a narrative they used to hide the atrocities of killer Fulani herders who attacked and destroyed farms unprovoked.

Boko haram violent action was restricted to Bornu state, Yobe state and Adamawa state, but the killer herders became the mobile terror promoter spreading bloodshed from the North to the middlebelt and into the South.

After general outcry and testimonies from survivors that the people who attacked them constantly, rape their women, destroyed their farms, burned their properties and killed their children are Fulani people, the elites in government turned the cries around and hide the atrocities using "ethnic profiling" that crime should not be limited to one tribe, that "not all Fulani commit crimes".

The terrorist action of the Fulani continues in the Benue and part of the middlebelt, the Ministry of information and military service chiefs of Buhari government conspired to suppress the media from revealing this massacre, ethnic cleansing and land grabbing mission of the Fulani group, so they transformed the Fulani killing herders/terrorist name to one appealing which hides the tribe orchestrating the killing and kidnapping of innocent people "BANDITS".

Whenever an attack came up on innocent villagers and communities, instead of the media to give accurate information about the group who perpetuated the crime, it will be reported as " Bandit attacked " giving a cover and immunity to the terror group to continue with the gospel of bloodshed.

The operation safe heaven of the Nigeria army that started during the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was an indirect empowerment programme designed to release arrested Boko haram and Fulani bandits through rehabilitation and reintegration back into the society, instead of trial and punishment, they get housing and nourishment, while some generals and soldiers paid the heavy price with their lives on the battlefield in the hand of Boko haram and other terrorist groups.

Until corruption is purge from our system, our value system reorganized, justice is enthroned, morality and religious decency replaced extremism, restructuring is adopted nationwide, merit based system replaced paddy-paddy system of public and private engagement, until then, ogbomosho school children kidnapped will not be the last.

"The trend of kidnapping of traditional rulers in Southwest Nigeria is increasing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with the recent abduction of the traditional ruler of Odo-Oriya community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Adeniyi Adelana.

The 60-year-old traditional ruler was kidnapped on Saturday night (13th of June, 2026) during an attack on his palace by gunmen. Yoruba village heads and traditional rulers were also the target of terrorists ransacking Yoruba communities in Kwara state.

Earlier reports indicated that over 30 traditional rulers have fled their palaces due to fear of attack and constant wave of terror on communities in Kwara South which are occupied by Yoruba ethnc group. Findings show that some of the affected traditional rulers are from Omugo, Afin, Oreke, Oreke Oke-Igbo, Olohuntele, Alabe, Ganmu Ailehri, Ologanmo, and Igbo Agbon communities.

While some have been away from their domains for months, others have been out for nearly a year.

Advocates of democracy have agitated that the June 12 celebration should be renamed the national day for the celebration of democracy in Nigeria due to the sacrifices of Chief M. K. O Abiola whose electoral victory was annulled on June 12 1993. The agitation was recognized in 2019 and signed into law as national holiday for democracy.

The current challenges Nigerians are facing across different fronts have made many questioned the effectiveness of democracy as a system of government due to the recurring pattern of issues ranging from corruption, hardship, unemployment, electoral injustice, double standard in justice system and violent crimes like kidnapping, terrorism, assassinations and banditry despite the defence budgets, security votes and yearly allocation to strengthen internal and external security, and also protecting our territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The June 12 before recognition as a democracy day, it was a day activists and concerned Nigerians gathered to discuss the problems the country is facing and also charting a course for a better future through recommendations of solutions to the identified problems.

These age long challenges without solution in sight have raised sentiments for military to takeover power, thinking force will quell the fire of terrorism, banditry and fear of gun will stop corrupt politicians and military chiefs from looting the treasury and Commonwealth of the Nation.

"Nigeria E go better " was the chorus we hear growing up while watching television, listening to radio broadcast and reading daily newspapers, but has it gotten any better compare to three decades ago? Yes and No.

Yes, it has gotten better for those whose relatives are in position of government, gainfully employed in multinational corporation and others in diaspora earning in hard currency.

No, it is far worst for those whose children and parents are in the den of kidnappers, and others whose ancestral land has become forbidden land to step into for fear of killer bandits raiding villages, towns and schools without pity or remorse.

All great Nations face challenges before transforming their pains into gains, the challenges of Nigeria are rooted in the foundation and the type of constitutional democracy we are running as a Country.

A Country where some citizens believe in oneness and togetherness as a Nation, while some see the subjugation of others as priority while advancing the cause of their tribal group.

A Country governed by two constitutions at the same time, one for the secular South and Sharia for the North. Such society if not quickly restructured and reorganized constitutionally, will soon be ripe for implosion due to conflict of interest and difference in ideologies already fueling extremism across the 6 Geo- political zones and 774 Local Government areas that made up Nigeria.

The sacrifices of our founding fathers and the labour of our heroes past should not be allowed to go in vain. dividends of democracy as a system of governance is numerous but PEACE and PROGRESS are the foundation others rest upon, but a situation where unending bloodletting, restlessness and absence of peace dominates daily conversation, such system can be liken to demonstration of craze rather than democracy.

IS THE CURRENT NATIONWIDE INSECURITY A NORTHERN STRATEGY TO TAKE POWER FROM THE SOUTH? OR RESULTS OF GROSS INCOMPETENCE AND MALADMINISTRATION OF EMI LOKAN?

Insecurity in Nigeria is taking another dimension as the virus of banditry and terrorism is spreading to peaceful zones and regions outside the northern Nigeria.

The daily reports of killings and other act of terrorism by bandits have taking political colouration, as security experts are linking the pattern of attack to charades sponsored by politicians importing mercenaries from the sahel countries (Chad, Niger, Mali) to undermine the government of Nigeria and make the country ungovernable through chaos, crimes, killings and land grabbing for resources control.

Scholars, political activists, NGO's and media practictioners are pointing to the new wave of violence as politically motivated to disrupt 2027 general election and a means to negotiate power back to the North in 2027.

In the run up to 2015 Presidential election, Boko Haram intensified attacks on Christians and Muslims population in the North to discredit the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The attacks that originated from Bornu State spread to other Northern States like Yobe State, Adamawa State, Zamfara state with a bomb blast in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) claiming lives of innocent citizens and other motorists in Nyanya bus terminal in Abuja.

Boko Haram also orchestrated the kidnapping of over 200 school girls in Chibok area of Bornu state, an action that led to global outcry and criticisms, which appealed to international organizations and humanitarian organizations to start the "BRING BACK OUR GIRLS" movement, which many opposition politicians and media houses used as a reason to term the government "INCOMPETENT AND CLUELESS".

The emotional reaction of the then first Lady madam Patience Jonathan who cried on national television chanting " THERE IS GOD O" hearing the extreme length of kidnapping and terrorism on innocent school children. Her words and reactions later turned to memes and jokes among entertainers in Nigeria.

The pressure of Insecurity and coalition of opposition with the support of President Barack Obama of the USA gave Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressive Congress (APC) victory in the election.

Did Insecurity End with Buhari as President? No, it escalated, given a new direction and strength

The current hardship Nigerians are facing with petrol price at ₦1350 per litre and cooking gas at ₦2400 per kg in cities, with insecurity spreading to peaceful parts of Southwest and other states in the NorthCentral have made many Nigerians concluded that President Bola Tinubu to be "INCOMPETENT AND CLUELESS".

Guerilla warfare tactics is one of the most difficult strategies to defend against but can be defeated through joint cooperation and understanding the pattern of attack.

The Fulani bandits have weaponized this tactics to strike terror into the heart of innocent citizens in Nigeria and attacking military formation unexpectedly.

The strength of guerrilla warfare tactics lies in the surprise attack, fluidity through speed and mobility from one spot to another spreading bloodshed and panic into the heart of the people.

A glance into history and studying of different war generals who weaponized guerrilla warfare tactics to conquer different nations revealed that credible intelligence network and superior strategy can defeat guerrilla warfare tactics.

My study into the General of Carthage known as Hannibal and the Genghis Khan of the Mongols revealed that surprise, mobility and coordinated attack were the elements used in their war campaign against different kingdoms.

These can be traced to the pattern of Fulani bandits attack across different geo-political zones in Nigeria. Forgetting that Yoruba ancestors were warriors and spiritualists, many households today in Yoruba land are ashamed of upholding the values and tradition of their forefathers but very quick to speak in tongues and Arabic, and will do everything to propagate these foreign ideologies and becoming weak, docile and fearful in the process.

Some Yoruba villages have already become like the Benue villages, kings can't sleep in their palaces and their subject relocating to another man's land, school going young children with teachers are been kidnapped and their mothers getting rape in the presence of their fathers (Taboos)

The people without the historical knowledge of past will definitely makes the mistake of their ancestors. While patriotic Nigerians are registering for permanent voters card (PVC) to vote in the 2027 election, some are stockpiling and acquiring firearms preparing for war and extermination of others to takeover their ancestral land.

Nigerians on Twitter (now X) are questioning the silence of the General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church for his silence despite the ongoing nationwide insecurity and persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

Many are pointing to the fact that Pastor Enoch Adeboye led a protest against President Goodluck Jonathan Administration because of insecurity and worked against the then administration citing insecurity to pave way for Muhammadu Buhari who later became the chief terror sponsor and grand patron of Boko Haram.

An X user with the name Dr. O tweeted in response to RCCG " Adebole drank tea with god but has failed to tell god to solve Nigeria's problems.

Despite their spirituality and beliefs system, they created a people oriented government system designed to planned their economy and regulate the activities of government officials to checkmate corruption and mismanagement because power can intoxicate.

Great nations are not born but designed, but most Africans will not elect visionary and creative leaders into position of power, they will not support creators but hailing, voting dumb and unintelligent money sprayers into elective government positions, and later wondering how the country is retrogressing where other nations are progressing.

We sell the inherited resources of our ancestors to foreigners for immediate monetary gratification for showoff and oppression of fellow citizens. THE RACE TO THE 2027 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND THE HURDLES OF INSECURITY AND UNEMPLOYMENT


The anticipated presidential election is drawing closer on a daily basis with some months into the electoral cycle of electing the president and commander in chief of armed forces of the most populous African country.

Political parties and members are in the period of producing an acceptable candidate and vice to fly the flag of each parties, with hope that the candidate with people oriented manifestoes, visionary road map and right team made up of concerned Nigerians with solutions to the issues affecting the average Nigerian.

The echo of Atiku Abubakar among the populace especially members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have received widespread acceptance, despite other candidates from the South claiming that it's the turn of the South to produce the president, a narrative that prompt the likes of Peter Obi to pitch their political tent in another political platform (NDC) to test his popularity and political weight.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) over the weekend endorsed President Bola Tinubu through their votes in the Presidential Primary election of the party, a nationwide event that gave a landslide victory to the ruling president, and a testament to his leadership of Nigeria, a position that Governor Kayode Fayemi recently opposed due to widespread violence, imposition and arm twisting politics experienced across different States governed by APC.

Concerned Nigerians are questioning statistics released by multinational organizations favouring the ruling party, while inflation is increasing, unemployment rampant and insecurity spreading to other regions perceived safe and secure in 2025.

The division and disagreement in other political platforms have further increase the chances of the ruling party, as divided opposition is in advantage of the incumbent.

State government should give adequate attention to governance and providing the dividends of democracy to the people, instead of shunning the primary purpose of government but redirecting the resources meant for the development of the state towards election.

The questions every reasonable Nigerians should be asking are;

Does the APC, ADC, NDC, PRP, LP, AA, PDP, APM, Accord, AAC, NNPP e. t. c have solutions to the problems of Nigeria?

Will voting in the 2027 election ease the suffering of the masses and end insecurity?

Will the division of Nigeria bring reliefs to the current challenges the country is facing as one nation?

The simultaneous attacks on primary and secondary schools in Ogbomosho area of Oyo state on Friday that claimed the lives of a school principal, teachers and pupils, with many yet to be found whether dead or alive, and some taken into the forest as hostages. this affront and other underreported attacks are justification of my publications and security perspective of once secured territory but seems overran by terrorists from the sahel with sleeper cells living among us, studying our terrain and exploiting the weakness of Yoruba people which is the culture of accommodating and welcoming known and unknown elements.

The coordinated attack targeted schools in different areas of Ahoro-Esinele, Oriire Local Government, Oyo state. The swiftness of this terrorist operation without counter efforts to checkmate the assailant but reactive response from our security agencies is enough reason for our political leaders and security experts to restrategize and review the current security operation to avert further occurrence.

Are schools the new battlefield and targets?

Many people are afraid of traveling because the roads are not secure from kidnappers, Farming is no longer attractive due to threat of kidnapping and killings, church service are conducted in fear and schools are now becoming the new battlefield and targets of these evil machinations that are leaving sorrow, tears and blood across the country.

Yoruba people are peace loving people but not weaklings, it's time for our lawmakers to enact laws and give support to traditional security force I. e Oodua People's Congress (O.P.C) across all local government in Southwest to serve as first responder in every zone, while the Southwest Regional Security Force (Amotekun), Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) and other established Security Force in the region work in collaboration, sharing credible intelligence to achieve collective success and adopting technological innovation in communication, surveillance and monitoring of forest reserves.

It's time to unleashed the Joint Security Taskforce in the Southwest, if the Civilian Joint Taskforce (CJTF) can be effective in fighting Boko haram in Bornu state, some of our civilians are also ready provided that necessary support in arms and ammunitions, financial incentives and other motivation is available.

Blackmailing of Advanced African Ancestry Knowledge and Technology as Witchcraft; My people perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

Some recent discoveries across Africa have shown and proved that Africans were vast in knowledge, advanced spiritual powers, technology and possessed abilities beyond explanation which was labeled witch-craft.

The history and philosophy of science pointed to the direction that Greek philosophers e. g Socrates, Plato and other Ionian thinkers visited Africa at a time to learn science, geometry, medicine e. t. c this is to correct the notion that Africans were backward and crude without invention or know-how until coming across the Europeans and Arabs.

Africans built the pyramid of Giza, one of the wonders of the world which is a mystery to students and researchers in modern day architectural and engineering studies.

The wood carving and glass making ancient technology of Yoruba ethnic group in West Africa amazed the British during the Bini/Yoruba expedition, they looted such artefacts, took it to their museums celebrating it and studying how such people labeled backward can invent, carve and design such masterpiece.

Before the advent of Gregorian calendar, Africans have already mastered the reading of stars, studying the code and language of the universe to understand timing, season and predicting occurrence of the future.

Before the arrival of Europeans and Arabs, African tribes have perfected the binary system (I O), use in decision making, divination, prediction and programming. The computer system was designed using the binary system that had it root in Ifa philosophy and knowledge that is made up of 256 Odus(bits or codes).

If a small stone is to thrown physically into the air it will immediately return back to the ground (physical law of gravity), but an aeroplane designed like an image of a bird will carry loads and people, lifted them into the air, travel for hours above the cloud but will return back to the ground through the command of the pilot, this craft and invention violated the laws of gravity and can be term witchcraft many years ago.

Is President Tinubu indirectly implementing the recommendations of the Confab 2014 against all odds?

President Tinubu led government of Nigeria have recently recorded major economic gains through his fiscal policies, energy reforms, foreign policies, agricultural intervention programmes, infrastructural development, security measures and other initiatives which have attracted global commendations, a progressive pathway towards sustainability and restructuring that international monetary Fund (IMF) , United Nations (E.U) and other global bodies are testifying to, due to the reflection of this landmark progress that has catapulted Nigeria GDP growth to a record heights the country has not witnessed in the last 3 decades.

The 2014 Conference of Indigenous people of Nigeria held in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with representatives from across 6 Geopolitical zones and tribes that made up Nigeria, the conference was proposed to understand challenges of each zones, assessing the issues collectively and proffering workable solutions to the identified problems and also maximizing the opportunities that comes with unity in diversity.

Many opportunities and threats were identified through the conference, despite the large allocation of funds allotted towards the organizing of the conference and bringing together of professionals, expatriates, administrators, politicians, academicians, researchers, traditional rulers and chiefs, the recommendations of the conference were dumped in the bin of history without implementation by consecutive government of Nigeria.

One of the identified recommendations was restructuring and devolution of power, which some power brokers and interest that founded Nigeria on injustice and exploitation see as a threat, making them rally together against the suggested solutions to our collective problems as a Nation.

Some actions of President Bola Tinubu (Emilokan) and directions of the government under his leadership has awakened the instinct of concerned Nigerians who are familiar with the recommendations of the Confab reports.

1. The introduction of aviation school across Geo- political zones√
2. The devolution of power centralized in Abuja√
3. The introduction of regional development commission√
4. Decentralizing operation of the Central Bank of Nigeria with some departments moved to other regions√
5. Introduction of Nigeria Police Academy across Geo political zones√
6. The proposal for the Creation of State Police√
7. Rehabilitation of moribund refineries to reduce dependance on foreign refinery and importation√
8. Establishment of Nigeria Credit Corporation√
9. Unified foreign exchange and allowing factors of production to determine market price instead of price control√
10. Establishment of Seaport in other zones to reduce pressure and traffic congestion in Apapa, Lagos√

The above are some of the measures the government has taken since assumption of office, but past governments of Nigeria were not able to implement these policies, and will rather maintain the status quo not to offend the hidden cabals and foreign interest in the project "One Nigeria".

Although, the government is having shortcomings in other areas but these achievements should be applauded and commended, criticisms without provision of alternative solutions should be regarded as noise making, and opposition without direction, organization and workable solutions in the 21st century is a comedy.

The falling apart of coalition of opposition in Nigeria as Peter Obi and others jumped the wrecking ship.

The African Democratic Congress have been caught and entangled in legal booby trap that have lasted for months due to the admission of self serving politicians and moles planted by the ruling party laying claim to be the authentic leaders of the party.

The party constitution provided guidelines on administration of the party and electing of leaders according to the tenets of democracy, but since the emergence of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as the National Chairman and secretary of the ADC, the party has been battling with legal tussle and litigation from the national leadership structure to the bottom.

If the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do? Ignoring the provisions of the party constitution in the internal affairs of the party in producing a national leaders gave an opportunity to the ruling party to explore and pacify aggrieved members in sabotaging the party from within.

Before the internal power struggle of the party, The People's Democratic Party and Labour Party also experienced internal sabotage by willing members serving the interest of the current government. A situation that enmesh the parties in legal and political battles of interest, leadership and structure.

A prominent figure in the PDP leadership crises is Nyesom Wike (Current Minister of FCT) and his allies within the party struggling for control and power within the party. While lamidi Apata was also visible in the event that led to chaos, disarray, disagreement and battles that eventually destroy the Labour Party from within.

After months of meeting by political actors and other aggrieved politicians whose interest supersedes group interest, decided to register a new party "ADA" but for reasons such as timeframe to 2027 electoral cycle, awareness, coverage of the 774 local governments, legal paperwork e. t. c the coalition of opposition, aggrieved politicians and internally displaced political activists decided to adopt the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the platform to challenge the ruling party.

Ignoring what is supposed to be scrutinized, admitting politicians whose belly comes first before the group interest, have brought confusion into the party, with some half baked educated politicians who joined the party through the coalition claiming the party was not in existence and not having structures before their admission into the party.

A notion that has further divided the party from within, with aboriginal members demanding fair share but admitted members who are yet to repent and learn from their previous actions that destroyed their former party, are already weighing their options whether to backtrack or jump the ship.

While other parties are planning and organizing in preparation for the 2027 election, the ADC and entourage are traveling from Federal High Court to Appeal Court and from Supreme Court back to the Federal High Court, a scenario looking more like a tour of Nigerian court designed to waste the precious time of members, as improper preparation can lead to poor performance in the upcoming polls.

The burden of islamic terrorism on development and peace in West and Central Africa; a case study of Mali, Nigeria and Sudan (Omo Yoruba Ronu o)

The recent militants coordinated attack that led to capture of Governor's office in Kidal and other communities in Mali over the weekend by jihadists affiliated to Al-Qaeda and ISIS have dislodged military formation, also leading to the death of a defense minister of the Junta led government of Mali.

The Tuareg Liberation force and JNIM Islamists fighters over the years have waged religious and power grabbing motivated attack on communities in the northern and central Mali, the junta overthrown the democratic elected leaders of the country citing corruption, mismanagement and growing influence of terrorism in some part of the country as a reason for their actions.

This act further led to the country quitting the regional organization which infuriated some power brokers within Economic Community of West Africa countries (ECOWAS) led to threat of military invasion to restore democracy in the country and bringing it back into the fold before the emergence of Alliance of Sahel States made up of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger republic.

The operation of terrorists groups in the Sahel have increased in the last three years despite the military leadership, making the Sahel States a breeding ground of terrorists operating in the lake Chad basin.

The porous border of northern nigeria have made it easier for terrorist network in West Africa to wreck havoc and attack government infrastructures, forward operating military bases in North East, communities in Northwest, villages in North Central with fear and panic spreading across other geo political zones that made up Nigeria.

The ethnic cleansing and killing spree in Sudan by Arabs, Tuaregs and Fulanis in the 21st century have led to global outcry and condemnation, with security experts pointing to United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the sponsor of killings of black Sudanese who are the original owners of the land, with arab related tribes from Libya, Tunisia e. t. c occupying those deserted communities and renaming them.

This same pattern of attack occurred in the middlebelt Nigeria, whereby indigenous communities of Benue state and villages in Plateau State attacked by Fulani militias and armed foreign Fulanis (French speaking), followed by Fulani related tribes occupying those villages and renaming them.

This violence, killing spree, kidnappings for ransom and destruction of existing order have something in common, which is islam. Although many Muslims will tell you that their religion is a religion of peace but the actions of believers across different countries in Africa have left peaceful coexisting communities in pieces.

Bomb blast in Niger state and Kwara state by Boko Haram; the implication for nearby states.

"The recent bombings are taking another insecurity dimension showing growing terrorism activities and influence beyond Bornu state. - Hon. Prince Samuel Adesegun Egunjobi ".

According to youth socio-political ambassador, the convener of the Youth O Clock. In his recent post on social media channels, he emphasized on the growing escalation of insecurity in Kwara and Niger state, and reasons Southwest, Edo and Kogi should be proactive in curbing the religious and politically motivated killings.

"Eight persons were killed on Monday when terrorists detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) along Luma Road in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.

The attackers reportedly also destroyed a bridge connecting the Luma-Babana-Agwara communities — a vital route used by residents travelling to the Babanna border market, which operates every Monday.

It was reported that the bandits detonated bombs in multiple communities during the early hours of Monday. A source from the area confirmed that the bombing of the bridge occurred around 5 a.m., effectively cutting off access for villagers to cross into other parts of the communities, including the market.

Are the bombings an act of execution of the threat by the Fulani Nationalist Movement? It was reported that they threatened to carry out a nationwide killings and destruction immediately after the Ramadan fasting.


Why Southwest States should be Proactive in tackling this menace?

As a concerned and patriotic citizen that have been monitoring security and political development over the years, with different publications and interviews to analyse Nigeria political situations and dissecting security challenges,
I unraveled the puzzle of the guerrilla warfare tactics of Boko Haram to attack the South, with their deep penetration and persistent attacks in Kwara state, Southwest States should be on High security alert likewise Kogi and Edo state.

Although, Nigeria Army have also made significant achievements in the war against insecurity but with the nationwide bombing threat and approach to the insecurity, the people in rural areas are living in fear especially Yoruba towns in Kwara north and South. The ECWA church attack in Kwara state and other coordinated bombing assaults on innocent villagers and travelers are pointers and symptoms of growing banditry and terrorism.

If State policing is the solution to the predicament, then necessary state authorities and federal government policing institutions should synergise on adopting a workable, sustainable and community based solution to curb the decade long insecurity challenges''.
