The master stroke strategy of unity beyond party affiliations by President Bola Tinubu (GCFR)in his Presidential Campaign Committee have set another standard and becoming political subject for undergraduates in the field of political science, law, sociology, management science and philosophy.

The Governor of Osun state, Sen. Ademola Adeleke who belongs to Accord party is to champion the coordination of President Tinubu's campaign in Osun state, while Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state, who is a member of APGA is to lead the cause of renewed hope 2.0 in the South East state.

Governor Alex Otti of Labour Party from Abia state is also integrated into the Presidential agenda of Jagaban and will be waving the flag of continuity in his state as a coordinator, while the giant slayer from Rivers state, The National Leader of People's Democratic Party (PDP), who also double as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike will be leading the rainbow coalition to ensure he success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

While the law mandate Presidential candidates to have at least 25% in each state of the federation, the odds are in Favour of the incumbent President of Nigeria as opposition Presidential candidates are still dragging and sabotaging each other without a proper collaboration plan or manifestoes.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in one of it's recent publications, it was published that candidates whose name where submitted by political parties but didn't meet the provisions and requirements of the New Electoral Act 2026 will not be participating in the 2027 general election.

Nigeria’s constitutional democracy is founded upon the supremacy of the Constitution. One of the major provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 provides that political parties submit their register of members to INEC 21 days before congresses, conventions and primaries and that only members whose names appear on the register can vote and be voted for in congresses, conventions and primaries. It further states that political parties that do not submit will be ineligible to field a candidate for that election.

Many loyalists and praise singers of affected candidates have launched an internet campaign against the electoral umpire, ignoring one of the principles of Rule of Law that states that "He/She who must come to equity, must come with clean hands".

Ignorance is not an excuse in the Court of Law, one cannot violate it's own party rules and constitutional provisions on nomination of candidates, guidelines on screening and conduction of primary elections, but praying to the judges in the High Court and justice of the Supreme Court to uphold and recognize illegal act as valid action.

Many Nigerians who are not familiar with the Electoral Act 2026 and 1999 Nigeria Constitution have been labeling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as partisan, allowing their emotions to overpower their intelligence.

In Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu and running mate of the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial candidate in Nigeria, and also in Gombe state Isa Pantami have been caught in the act of violating several provisions of the New Electoral Act 2026, and will not be on the ballot for the 2027 election, according to INEC. In a counterattack on the reported omission, one of the scribes of the PDP in Ogun State have argued that Adebutu was duly registered as a member of the party with his party membership card printed, verified and submitted to INEC.

In Kano state, the gubernatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Aminu Abdussalam-Gwarzo have also been flagged for violating provisions for nominations of candidates and the requirements, an action that contravene some sections of the New Electoral Act 2026. The NDC spokesman maintained that Abdussalam-Gwarzo had fulfilled all the requirements for the election, insisting that the necessary processes had been completed within the stipulated timeframe. Another report stated that the "omission was not caused by the party, adding that INEC had attributed the development to a computer glitch and promised to correct it".

Proper preparation prevents poor performance, recent revelations have revealed some politicians to be an opportunist, jumping from party to party without studying the guiding principles and constitutions on which those political organization were founded.

Bribing your way through the party primaries for selection and imposition without meeting the necessary membership and nomination criteria will only result to efforts in futility.

In every political contest, there will be serious contenders who understood how governance works for the people, there will be some who seek to increase their popularity on social media and local community, there will be few who are looking for opportunity to use their position for negotiation to increase their bank account, and there will be jokers that will parading themselves around for titles, recognition and other paperweights politicians who are not able to deliver a single polling unit even if a polling station is fixed in their neighborhood on the day of election.

The position of INEC and judgement of the supreme Court will serve as judicial precedent and standards for resolving  electoral disputes and nomination of political candidate in the nearest future.

Nigerians should not allow blind and unprepared politicians to pull their strings and manipulate them into the war of ignorance or be used as a pawn in blackmailing the Independent National Electoral Commission chaired by Professor Joash Amunpitan.

Nigeria, a multi-cultural country made up of beautiful people and blessed with abundant resources in human and natural resources, spanning from the Atlantic Ocean in the South to other sahelian countries in the North with extension to the Lake Chad basin.

The 66th anniversary celebration marked the beautiful memories of Independence, the ugly experience of Biafra war and terrorism affecting certain parts of the country and remarkable achievements of over 250 tribes living together as one with potential of becoming a global power in the nearest future.

The fast approaching electoral exercise to determine who leads the giant of Africa for the next four years is scheduled to take place in the mid of January 2027, and many political parties preparing, canvassing, campaigning for their favourite candidates with Nigerians scrutinizing and comparing manifestoes to one another to determine their direction into the poll.

The policies and systemic restructuring of organs/institutions of the state by the incumbent President of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) have earned his administration credit, approval and commendations, while oppositions have criticised the direction of his government citing the cost of living (hardship), insecurity and effect of the removal of fuel subsidy on the economy.

The candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Peter Obi, have position himself as the right alternative from the South with capacity to surmount against the challenges APC policies and manifestoes have not been able to address.

Alh. Atiku Abubakar, who have contested for the apex office on several occasions on different political platforms, will be contesting on African Democratic Congress (ADC), the former vice president will be on the ballot as an experienced alternative having served in the Presidency as vice during the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Many Nigerians that are familiar with the administration of Former President Olusegun Obasanjo (1999-2007) have raised concerns about the loyalty of Waziri and his inconsistency due to transfer from one political party to another  (SDP, PDP, AC, ACN, APC, PDP & ADC), with many labelling it as desperation and loyalty to his personal conviction, interest and ambition.

Freedom of movement and choice is a fundamental human rights, a right enshrined in the 1999 Nigeria Constitution for citizens of Nigeria, so the movement of the former V.P should not be term as Political wandering, but as someone who seeks to better Nigeria, but the words and tantrums of his former superior, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo have further rub salt on the injuries of Alh. Atiku Abubakar and raising different underlying questions in the minds of Nigerians.

Some Nigerians have compared the building tendency and laying of grassroots foundation structure of President Tinubu to others seeking the office in 2027. A close look into the history of democratic government since the end of military rule in 1998, and drawing the map of growth of different parties which seeds were sown by President Bola Tinubu. The journey from the Alliance for Democracy (A.D) to transition to Action Congress (AC), a party that offered a Presidential ticket to Alh. Atiku Abubakar in 2007 to contest the Presidency against the Umar Musa Yaradua of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 24,638,063 votes, while Alh. Atiku Abubakar of the Action Congress of Nigeria polled 2,637,848 votes in the electoral exercise held on the 21st of April 2007.

The structural expansion of the Action Congress to Action Congress of Nigeria, also gave Nuhu Ribadu an opportunity in 2011 to challenge Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the Presidential contest, before the merger of the political party with the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) led by Muhammadu Buhari, All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and factions of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) that gave birth to the All Progressive Congress (APC) on 6th of February, 2013 and later registered by INEC on July 31st, 2013.

Many online polls and analysis have favoured the incumbent President of Nigeria to win the 2027 election, as many factors aside from international support and power of incumbency, but the division of Mr Peter Obi and Alh. Atiku Abubakar with decision to run separately on different political platforms will shortchanged their polling strength, whereas; their unity into the election could have provided a strong and United opposition alternatives to the incumbent.

With the recent Independent Electoral Commission of Nigeria (INEC) unveiling total numbers of registered voters in the database of the commission, as 103million voters were captured as registered to participate in the 2027 Presidential and State election's, while Lagos, Kano, and Kaduna recorded the highest numbers of votes to be expected in the coming election,  the next few weeks into the general election is an opportunity for Nigerians and the electorates to assess manifestos, enlighten their neighbors about the candidates who has the solutions to the nationwide challenges rooted in the formation of the country, preparing their permanent voters card (PVC) to approve the visionary and workable policies capable of healing the nation from the age-long predicament suppressing the growth, transformation and development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."

OPEN LETTER TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA: RESTRUCTURE THE NYSC WITH OPTION TO SERVE IN THE STATE OF ORIGIN OR REGION OF CHOICE TO AVERT KIDNAPPING OF CORP MEMBERS OR SCRAP THE INITIATIVE AND REMODEL INTO 8MONTHS PUBLIC SERVICE FELLOWSHIP

It was announced recently by different news outlets and media houses that members of National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) were kidnapped while they were reporting to the location for their national service and assignments.

Similar scenarios have played out over the years without ending in sight to these barbaric occurrences despite different security strategies the government have deployed to curtail these trends.

In some part of Nigeria, during the Boko Haram uprising against western education and other faith induced crises, youth corpers serving their father's land in that part of Nigeria became a victim of circumstances, as many terrorists organizations see them as soft target and quick medium to reach the Federal Government by attacking them or kidnapping them to express their grievances and dissatisfaction in direction of some government policies (One of the problems inherited by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR).

It is high time the Federal Government of Nigeria revisit the objectives for the creation of the Youth initiative, restructure the model  that guides it operation, move a motion for the amendment of the bill establishing the scheme in the National Assembly, propose a safe and secure framework to protect fresh graduates if the scheme is to continue.

Many Nigerians across social media channels have suggested that the Federal Government should scrap the programme, as some Nigerians perceive it as time wasting and not adding value to personal development except that it's a requirement for corporate and government employment.

I'm of the school of thought that opines that the National Youth Service should be reform and restructure with option to serve in the state of origin or region of choice.

No state without enemies or government without adversaries, the enemies of Nigeria have fabricated their weapons of bloodshed and we cannot continue to sacrifice the leaders of tomorrow in the altar of terrorists and other blood suckers disguising as fighting an holy religious war or sending out our rising intellectuals to become a pawn in the game of power.

Our country cannot afford to continue risking the lives of our youths; our seeds of innovation and brains, who have accumulated knowledge and equipped with the discipline needed to fix the issues affecting our society on the account of negligence and failure to act in the best interest of our future as a republic.

The NYSC programme should empower, enriched the minds, provide needed employability skills, provide access to corporate and public work tools, on the job experience, technical capacity building, platform to explore local and international opportunities, and not become another trap or web of destroying the hope of some families or bringing sorrow to parents who sacrifice everything for their children to attain academic excellence.

The 8months Public service fellowship programme can be rooted in entrepreneurial skills development, digital acceleration, professional training and seminars to improve expertise in chosen career, on the job training to enhance mental and physical wellness in preparation for self employment or corporate/public service engagement, robotics, solar energy system and installation, waste to energy conversion technology, artificial intelligence, monetizing digital content, para-military training; handling of arms for self defense and public safety, peace building and conflicts resolution, public service and governance, preservation and packaging of agri produces for exports, and other positive attributes of the current NYSC initiative which can be transformed and remodel into a more efficient, effective and safe programme capable of refining our graduates to become a problem solvers, wealth creators, industrialists, policy reformer, positive change agents, development catalysts and leaders who are globally competitive and universally oriented in projecting Nigeria as the authentic giant of Africa, consolidating on the achievements of our heroes past.

In Peckham, an area of London, the influence, acceptance and domination of Yoruba lifestyle without the need for force or paid promotion have become a case study for new generations of scholars unraveling the possibility of the minority influencing the majority in an environment where they are regarded as immigrants.

In the past, Yoruba international export superstars like Fela Anikulapo Kuti demonstrated the richness of Yoruba language, music, rhythm and dance, also preached the Gospel of African Spiritual System and Africanism, citing the Yoruba Spirituality and Traditions as one of the right channel to reach God and connecting with the ultimate source of the universe. At a time when islam and Christianity were dominating the world and other worldviews suppressed.

But today, the contribution of Yoruba people to global politics, sports, international business, art, music, fashion, religion, agriculture, robotics, engineering, academics, military, movies, artificial intelligence, fin-tech, industry, diplomacy, medicine e. t. c cannot be under emphasized,  but as a force of nature and intelligentsia groups to be reckoned with and respected.

The export of Yoruba intellectuals beyond the shores of Africa and their lasting impacts, culture of accommodation and friendship, respect for their hosts, uniqueness in public gathering, enduring spirit not to succumb to challenges, creative thinking ability to innovate and initiate new ideas to solve environmental problems, leadership and organizing acumen,  entertaining tendencies even in corporate environment and other peculiar attributes have increased the demand and love for Yoruba men by women and ladies of different ethnic and racial background.

NIGERIA INDEPENDENCE @66: THE CRUDE OIL OF THE SOUTH BELONGS TO ONE NIGERIA, THE GOLD IN THE NORTH BELONGS TO NORTHERN POLITICIANS (A flashback to the intention of 1914 amalgamation)


The independence of Nigeria as a country from the British colonizers and overlords in 1960 have been termed immatured by angry Nigerians who have linked the perpetual challenges affecting the country to it foundation.

Economists and Scholars have raised issues regarding the intention behind the 1914 amalgamation of the southern protectorate with the northern protectorate, and concluded that the economic surplus of the South and it resources was intended to take care of the deficit of the North.

Some historians and politicians also stated that the British wanted a market for it products, and also exploiting the natural resources/raw materials needed for it manufacturing industry, which was available in the southern protectorate, while the North has the manpower needed for military expedition and workforce for cheap labour.

These perceptions after the independence celebration of October 1st 1960 and injustice post- republic in 1963 contributed to the build up of the Biafra war.

A country of more than 200million people of different ethnic nationalities, religion, languages, values, customs and history sharing boundaries with Benin Republic, Togo and Atlantic Ocean in the South west, A border with cameroun and Atlantic Ocean in the South East and South South, With the northern part bordering Niger Republic, Chad, Cameroun and the Sahel.

A country made of 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory but sub divided into 6 Geo-political regions, many believed that Nigeria has not lived up to expectation or fulfilled it numerous potential as other African Nations looking towards Nigeria as big brother and giant of Africa, whose greatness and development can illuminate their darkness from extreme poverty and under development.

Some sections of Nigeria have agitated for a separate independent country from Nigeria because of their right to self determination as enshrined in one of the charters of the United Nations. Some have backed their reasons for such agitations on injustice and double standard that is visible in the political leadership of the country, corruption, mismanagement of resources, religious bias in appointment, ethnic favouritism, nepotism, marginalization, insecurity e. t. c

Many activists from the southern part of the country have also raised concerns about how the proceeds from the crude oil deposited in the ocean and Niger Delta part of the southern Nigeria is used in taking care of the country, while the North hoards it gold, mine it lithium, sell and pocket it proceeds as a grave injustice.

These gold and lithium mining activities have contributed to the spate of banditry and terrorism in the Far North, extending into the Middlebelt states and parts of Southwest (known to be most peaceful region in Nigeria). Most of the proceeds from these illegal mining operations are use in funding the purchase of arms & ammunitions to terrorize innocent villagers, travellers and communities.

If oil bunkering in the SouthSouth and Southwest can be illegal, attracting jail punishment and other penalties, with perpetrators referred to as economic saboteurs, why is the illegal mining operation pampered and encourage in the North?

The daily activities of illegal miners and expanding operation of unlicensed mining activities in Zamfara, Niger, Sokoto and other parts of Northern Nigeria have attracted surge of foreigners from the Sahel, coming into the country through the porous border to extract minerals for personal self aggrandizement and the interest of politicians funding their operations.

Security monitoring organizations have noted confrontations between local communities and foreign miners, who operates in their forests and later attacking their communities when they least expected.

These pattern of illegal miners moving into forest part of rural communities, establishing a parallel authority without regard for the local chiefs and authorities, extract these minerals in their natural form, sell to the black market, pocket it proceeds and channel part of it to arms smuggling and terrorism without paying tax to the Nigerian authority.

These injustice and leakage needs to be curtailed to quench the fire of insecurity, block the capital flight and revenue goes into the state treasury account or the purse of the Federal Government for even distribution among the 36 states, putting an end to agitation by separatists movement groups citing injustice, marginalization and double standard as the root causes of their actions and demand

Nigeria Independence at Sixty-Six can be described as a man who failed most of his children having expected the father to have done better, Nigeria could also be described as a man who struggled growing up, having exposed to different problems that could have killed him but only resulted into stunted growth in his 40's but with indication of prosperity and flourishing in his late 60's.

OGUN DEEP SEAPORT: HOW DECENTRALIZATION OF LAGOS PORT CAN EASE TRAFFIC CONGESTION AND BOOST ECONOMIC GROWTH IN OTHER OCEAN BOUND NIGERIAN STATES.

Ogun State, A major industrial hub among the 36 states of Nigeria is set to become one of the commercially and economically viable state for foreign investment with the completion of the gateway airport and the proposed deep seaport project.

The gateway state occupies a strategic position in Nigeria, sharing boundaries with Lagos State, Oyo state, Ondo state, Benin republic and vast access to Atlantic Ocean.

The only functioning deep seaport known to importers and exporters is the Lagos Apapa and Lekki port, contributing to government revenue, commercialisation and boosting of economic activities in the area. The operation of the port have also contributed to traffic congestion in the commercial capital of Nigeria due to the influx of people and business owners coming to Lagos for their cargoes and others monitoring their locally made goods bound for exports to other countries.

The government have promised to decongest activities in the Lagos ports by sending monitoring and performance evaluation team to warri port in Delta, Akwaibom, Ondo state, Ogun state and other states with ocean access to assess it viability, possibility, cost-benefit relationship and long term performance in terms of security and sustainability.

The visit of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to China some months ago have come to fruition as Nigeria signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for commencement of Ogun deep seaport project.

With the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway already in progress, the deep seaport along the Ogun maritime front will be exposing communities in the area to accelerated growth, economic development, expansion of commercial activities, providing opportunities for employment to locals, increment in real estate values e. t. c as industry players and other international trade actors will be seeking to have branch offices along the route.

Many already established exporters will be diverting their operations from Lagos to Ogun state, and the access to the seaport will also give locals opportunities to reach the global communities with their locally made goods and agricultural produces.

In the nearest future, the Federal Government of Nigeria  should also endeavour to resuscitate moribund ports and facilitate the development of new ones in the South South and South East states for even distribution of sustainable development and accelerated growth in other states of the federation with ocean access and viability.

THE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS OF APC BAAMU UNIT OF OGUN STATE AND THE EXTRAORDINARY PREPARATION TOWARDS THE 2027 GENERAL ELECTION

As the clock is ticking towards the 2027 election across the 774 Local government areas of Nigeria and the 6 Geo-political zones of the Federation, party faithfuls and members are preparing, mobilizing and campaigning across media platforms (television, radio, print media e. t. c) and other digital platforms to ensure that their candidates and other flagbearers from their party emerged in the upcoming poll.

With increasing numbers of members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Nigeria and growing network of the progressive political family in Africa and the diaspora, the 2027 general election in Ogun state and other parts of Nigeria judging from government performances, people friendly policies, party structures, quality of service delivery, infrastructural development, track record of empowerment and other meaningful impacts the party brought to governance, Political analysts have concluded that the upcoming election will be a smooth sail to victory for the APC across all levels.

In Osoosun ward of Ifo Local Government area of Ogun state, the extraordinary preparation of members of APC in Baamu community have taken the community and other nearby communities by surprise. The coordination among members of the Baamu unit and their commitment towards the direction of the party in the Local Government, have distinguished the unit as one of the most performing political units in Ogun state.

With members of the APC from the polling unit, community members and leaders pledging their allegiance and loyalty to the candidacy of Hon. Adijat Motunrayo Adedeji for the Ifo/Ewekoro, Sen. Adeola Solomon YAYI as the Governor of Ogun state and President Bola Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The United Nations as a global institution established to provide an avenue for addressing world challenges, conflict between Nations since the World War II, mediating between warring factions affecting leadership and political direction in different countries.

Nigeria as a member country of the United Nations have echoed the need for African countries to be integrated into the Security Council as a permanent member. The renewed and recent agitation from the continuous push by African countries spearheaded by the most populous African nation and giant of Africa Nigeria, have gained global attention, support and consideration.

Analysing the events that preceded the 81st General Assembly gathering, A permanent member of the UN representing Nigeria, Amb. Jimoh Ibrahim (CFR) was appointed the Head of Finance and Budgets, a position that no Nigerian have held since the creation of the global institution.

Furthermore, reviewing and assessing the speech delivered by the Vice President of Nigeria Kashim Shettima to the General Assembly Members and Diplomatic communities in the presence of global powers, the bold presentation and constructive argument on the need for inclusion of African countries into the Security Council as a Permanent Member maybe be approved in the coming days and weeks.

If the proposal is favourably considered by the United Nations, African countries such as South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria are some countries that have been shortlisted by diplomats, media groups, NGOs and right activists for consideration.

DEATH FROM CONTAMINATED HERBAL ALCOHOLIC MIXTURES ORIGINATED FROM UNTRAINED HERBALIST AND RITUALIST DISGUISING AS HERBAL VENDORS

In recent times in Nigeria, the viral news of death among young and old people have been linked to the consumption of herbal mixtures and alcoholic beverages, with many illnesses relating to kidney infections reported across medical centres emanating from the consumption of alcoholic mixtures and abuse of herbal beverages produced by untrained herbalist.

In Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State, it was reported that over 45 people died from the consumption of an herbal mixture called "Monkey tail", with many others receiving medical care and attention across different medical centres in the state. With reports of similar cases in other parts of the country from time immemorial.

Unregulated activities of self acclaimed herbal practitioners and ritualists hiding behind the cover of herbalists to perpetuate crimes and promoting unapproved herbal substance for quick money without consideration of the side effects on the users and consumers have led to untimely death of the young and the old in the country.

These trend cannot be allowed to fester forever before the Government pay attention to this section of the society or the rising wave of fake herbalists and traditional doctors on social media and corners of our street can dent the image of herbal medicine that have proven to be effective since the days of our forefathers

THE STINKING HYPOCRISY OF SOLOMON DALUNG ESQ AND HIS LONG BIASED EPISTLE ATTACK ON RTD CHRISTOPHER GWABIN MUSA ON SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS DURING THE EL-RUFAI ADMINISTRATION IN KADUNA STATE (2015-2023)

In one of the recent media chat the Minister of Defence had with channels tv, some questions relating to Nasiru El-rufai was directed to him as an Elder statesman from Kaduna State, His response was in line with the answer many Nigerians are already familiar with.

During the days of Nasiru El-rufai in Kaduna state, He supervised and managed the state in a way that massacre and mass grave burials became a weekly occurrence, with lopsided appointment into government position favouring Muslims and people of Northern Kaduna.

His policies and statements emboldened Fulani militias to continue the killing of the people of the southern Kaduna communities e. g Kajuru, Kachia, Adara, Chikun e. t. c

The elites from that part of Kaduna state and critics of his administration were silent either through arrest, incarceration or destruction of their business and properties in the state.

He also revealed that he paid Fulani killers to stop killing, he orchestrated the kidnapping of Agom Adara (Traditional ruler), a paramount ruler from southern Kaduna who refused to dress like an emir and defended the killings of his people. He was kidnapped alongside his wife on his way back from peace meeting called by El-Rufai on October 19, 2018, and murdered by his captors in October 2018 despite a substantial ransom delivery.

He threatened international community coming into Kaduna state as an electoral observer to return in body bags, many of his statements are on public spaces for verification.

Furthermore, he retrenched over 20,000 workers, mostly teachers from southern Kaduna and also channeled over 90% allocation from World Bank Loan towards the development of infrastructural projects in Northern Kaduna.

Nasiru El-rufai brought the DIVIDE & CONQUER rule into his government, and also promoted the narrative of WE vs THEM to the forefront of his administration.

Solomon Dalung Esq, forgot about the broad daylight massacre of Shiite Muslims and followers of El-Zakzaky, who was jailed without trial throughout his reign as governor and many of his children killed and other followers also annihilated.

Solomon Dalung Esq, did not request for international community support or remember his writing pen when churches were been overran across Southern Kaduna communities, or the politics of destruction the midget was playing under the guise of the Covid-19 pandemic, using sit at home and contact tracing to arrest perceived political enemies.

The cries of many widows,
The loss of breadwinners,
The depression of many orphans,
The destruction of countless properties worth billions across southern Kaduna are enough evidences of his misrule.

His anti-people policies,

As the general populace of Nigeria are anticipating the 2027 election, there is a massive outcry and complain from some quarters about the rising cost of living with lamentation about the prices of food stuffs, building materials, petroleum products, as many households are struggling with renewing their rents.

In some quarters also, the policy of the government is also favouring households whose salaries have been increased with other benefits attached. These groups see the complains about hardship in the Country as criticisms from the other group, while the upper class can easily access mortgage loan to finance their housing projects, the lower class can't continue their home building projects due to the present costs of cement, granite, steel and other items required for quality construction.

Listening to radio programme recently, different callers expressing their views about the economic situation of the country, many expressed satisfaction in the direction of the government, many also expressed frustration comparing the cost of living and purchasing household items in the past government with the present government.

This made me realized the true meaning of Yoruba adage " Oro ile aye ilu gangan ni, ohun to koju si enikan, eyin ni o ko si elomiran"
English interpretation " Life is like a talking drum, what is facing one directly, seems to opposed and back another " Expanding my interpretation of the Chinese YingYang principle and Ifa Ejiogbe perspective, what appears as 6 to Adamu could appear as 9 to Amosun depending on their perspective, environment, conditions, position and reality of life.

While many northerners see President Bola Tinubu as the right candidate to lead Nigeria to the promise land through renewed hope agenda, many southerners also see Alh. Atiku Abubakar as the prophesied Messiah who is to come and lead the country after many failed attempts.

With other groups praying and wishing that Peter Obi emerged in the political contest as the O-K movement manifestoes is also soothing to their ears and okay for the future of the largest concentration of Africans on planet earth.

UN Adopts New World Map To Correct Africa’s Distorted Size

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution calling for the use of a new world map that more accurately represents the size of Africa and other continents.

The resolution, known as the “Correct the Map” initiative, was sponsored by Togo and supported by members of the African Union. It was approved with the backing of 164 countries, including the United Kingdom and France, while the United States voted against it and six countries abstained.

Although the resolution is non-binding, it is expected to encourage institutions around the world to reconsider the continued use of the Mercator projection, a map that has been widely used since the 16th Century. Critics argue that the projection significantly distorts the size of countries and continents, particularly those located near the equator.

Why Nigerians should learn from the bloodbath of Osun election and Inter-party parley post election

As politicians and party faithfuls across political parties are preparing for the general election with official declaration of campaign opened by the Nigeria electoral umpire, there is need for every reasonable Nigerians regardless of party affiliation to learn from history not become a victim of circumstances and part of statistics of lost lives in the post election analysis and review.

With some months into the general election, political parties are unveiling campaign structures, deploying resources, touring media houses for nationwide outreach, installing gigantic billboards/banners across different points for visibility and awareness.

This is a period that the residence of influential citizens and elder statesmen will become a pilgrimage ground, where politicians will be visiting to seek their approval and support in winning the heart of their followers, and also incorporating their structures for political gain.

This is a season where the service of the agents of the underground will be required to carry out dirty games of unleashing violence. Actors in the black market will also be consulted by corrupt politicians seeking to disrupt peaceful electoral process, and others determined to outmanoeuvre their opponents either through assassination, kidnapping, bullying into surrender and silencing dissenting voices raising questions of accountability.

The service of different gangs will be consulted to cause mayhem in the stronghold of opponents and other places with weak influence; a pattern learnt from the history of election in Nigeria.

The violence and loss of lives that took place in the recently concluded Osun state election is a prototype for what it is to be expected in the nationwide election. While some families are thrown into mourning of their lost sons, politicians who they died on their behalf are seen dining, wining and embracing each other in beautiful photoshoot endorsing one another as one big family but of different political tent.

Politics of bitterness leads to destruction and unproductive rivalry, but politics of betterness leads to inclusion, national growth, national development and create an image of civilised society with people orientation and service delivery to the electorate as the motivation for seeking an electoral position rather than self fulfilling interest.

The youths should get involve in politics, engage in political/economic/national discourse, publish topics on how our democracy can be strengthened and improved rather than mere criticisms without providing alternative approach, join a political party but never become a pawn in the game of destroying another or become a willing tool in the agenda of bringing down the empire built by another through years of hardwork and sweat or neglect voting on election day for playing street football.

As the election is approaching, the season comes with surplus benefits for data boys (group of internet praise singers& supporters), as their service will be demanded by political actors who neglected constituency development despite the huge allocation but seeking re-election.

IS THE NATIONWIDE CELEBRATION OF HAUSA DAY A GRADUAL SHIFT FROM THE HAUSA-FULANI HEGEMONY AND ESCAPE FROM DAN-FODIO DESCENDANTS GRIPPED?

 

The Hausa people of northern Nigeria are one of the most culturally rich ethnic group in Sub Saharan Africa, spreading beyond the borders of Nigeria into Niger Republic, Chad and other parts of Africa.

A tribe with history, values and customs with kings and princes occupying the 7 original hausawa states, with many years of existence pre-dating the establishment of Nigeria as a country.

The history of Hausa people shown that the Hausa were already practicing islam with their ancestral traditions before the Fulani invasion, caused by the uprising masterminded by sheikh Usman Dan Fodio against the Hausa ruling class and kings on the basis of corruption.

The war on the Hausa kingdom and massacre of their rulers didn't end the spread of Hausa language, but only subject original Hausas to become a second class citizen in their own land, following the teachings of Fulani imams in the mosque and living under the rulership of newly established Emirates under the control of Fulani emirs.

The farmers-herders clashes exposed blindfolded Hausa farmers and other ethnic groups to the narrative sponsored to hide nationwide massacre of innocent farmers and villagers by imported mercenaries of Fulani origin loyal to the sokoto caliphate conquest agenda.

This murderous and land grabbing activities open the eyes of many Hausas to the manipulation and deception of the "Hausa-fulani identity" as just a political use and dump theory, practice to hold down the Hausas and subject them to modern day captivity.

With many Hausa villages overrun by Fulani bandits, and Fulani groups occupying the deserted areas. these actions across different states in Northern Nigeria have led to massive social media, radio and print media outcry, leading descendants of original hausawa states to demand for separate identity.

If the Fulani can establish a group solely for Fulani interest e. g Fulani Nationalist Movement, Fulani Elders Forum, Miyetti Allah Kautal Kore, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association e. t. c Hausa as an ethnic group also deserves recognition as a group for the purpose of representing their interest in national affairs as a socio-cultural group promoting the values, customs, culture and preserving heritage of the Hausas.

With President Bola Tinubu recognising the Hausa day and celebrating with them on their cultural day, the cries of indigenous Hausa people have reached the high heavens.

In one of the recent political and economic publications of Amb. Prince Samuel Egunjobi, he reviewed the benefits and disadvantage of the fuel subsidy to the economy and government of Nigeria.

"One of the most popular economic policies in Nigeria is the removal of fuel subsidy, an action that affected the operation of energy industry and the foundation of the Nigeria petroleum sector.

Although, the bold removal was applauded by the elites but an average Nigerian was confused and the after effect of the removal led to hike in fuel price and other crude oil by-products across the country.

In the past, the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan proposed the removal of fuel subsidy but was resisted through protests, media actions and other means of expressing grievances with the direction and intention of his government.

The protest was led by the newly formed members of APC, members of civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, concerned citizens and the policy was reversed due to the public outcry and fear of civil unrest the implementation of the policy may caused in the country.

In 2023, during the inaugural speech of President Bola Tinubu, he announced the removal of fuel subsidy and the rest is history. The government claimed that saboteurs of Nigeria economy and other members of shadow government/cabals were exploiting the fuel subsidy at the detriment of the masses.

" The large budget for subsidizing fuel import can be channel to other sectors and areas that will have direct impact and positive effect on the economy/people ". This was the position of some of the elites and it was implemented by the government.

Although some of the moribund and unproductive local refineries are now operating, which the government is claiming that the bold reform and removal of the fuel subsidy was responsible for.

Many Nigerians are surprised with the increment in fuel price despite the large deposit of crude oil in our country despite the operation of local refineries, and won't subscribe to the fluctuations of oil price in international market due to the closure of Straits of Hormuz, an action caused by the conflicts between USA & IRAN.

Alh. Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President in Nigeria and Presidential flag bearer of the ADC have brought the issue of fuel subsidy to the forefront of the campaign for the apex office and management of the economy. He claimed that the policy of the APC led government have impoverished Nigerians and the removal of fuel subsidy is no beneficial to an average household but only filling the pockets of friends of the President, enriching oil marketers and greasing the palm of political associates.

He proposed to re-introduce the fuel subsidy to save Nigeria from the hardship the policy have brought since the removal, and there is no reason to rob Peter (the people) to pay Paul (State governors/Lawmakers).

The robust revenue the current administration have generated across sectors into the treasury account have been linked to the policy, which also led to increment in state allocation to fund projects, service and governance across the 36 states of the federation with the Federal Capital Territory FCT) inclusive.

Economists and International Monitoring Organizations have applauded the national growth the reform of President Bola Tinubu have achieved since coming to power, and placing Nigeria on the path of sustainable development through strengthening of local industries, massive nationwide infrastructural projects, rehabilitation of abandoned projects, bringing government closer to the people through the local government autonomy and increasing budgets for Constitutuency development for lawmakers.

Critics and others have claimed that if truly the reform is working for the good of Nigerians, why is there a widespread inflation, hardship and unemployment? But many households also commending the president on Youth development initiatives and schemes e. g Students Loan, the establishment of the Nigeria credit corporation to support business access to credit facilities, and other programmes introduced to empower Nigerians, but the poor we will always have among us. "

Nigeria Decides 2027: The nationwide campaign should be structured around national issues and practicable solutions rather than abuse and vendetta

The culture of destroying and maligning the image of others because of their choice of political camp and alignment should be eradicated as our democracy is growing.

In the past, election is perceived to be a contest where the winner takes it all, deploying all available means and bloody tactics similar to political conquest, with the highest polling candidate subjecting others to political incarceration, exile, witch-hunting and other means of subjugation so that they never rise again to pose a challenge in future electoral contest.

Maturity requires time and experience, as a nation with over 25years of democratic experience and governance system, established on democratic tenets, values, ideologies and supporting institutions to ensure it thriving, our democracy should be emulated by other countries if truly the government of the people is working for the people, and not only the representative of the people in corridor of power.

Leadership requires many valuable resources but intelligence, vision, initiatives, wisdom, managerial abilities and track record cannot be under emphasized or relegated for frivolities. Politics and content creation should be differentiated, and he/she that must come forward in representing the people at the National/Zonal/State/Councillorship level must be tested, questioned, examined and must be a good student of history.

The era of opportunistic representative is gone, is either you are equipped with all necessary values needed to be leader and policy maker, understand the root cause of the problems of the people and providing practical solutions to the identified problems through organized manifesto, and also strategies for transforming the threats into opportunities for collective development.

When a fool is elected on the platform of a political party, His constituency/state/country is governed under his myopic rules, the wise are under the confinement of his anti people policies, the strong will gradually lose their strength and voice due to economically crippling principles that will emanate from his binding actions and choices.

The skyrocket inflation ravaging the length and breath of Nigeria due to some past and current government economic policies with unemployment have weakened the purchasing power of an average Nigerian, with many households living below the poverty line.

Hunger destroys concentration, confidence and dreams, more reason Nigeria Price Control Board and Consumer Protection Agency should monitor the price of essential goods to protect low income households from the gimmicks of overpricing by some unscrupulous distributors, producers, retailers and other middlemen, who are professional in extortion, hiding their greed behind rise in price of crude oil and foreign exchange.

The price of food materials and water needs regulation, the income of households varies due to many factors e. g type of employment, location, type of business e. t. c and what's convenient and affordable to a civil servants, maybe out of reach to striving youths population and other age group that are not beneficiaries of the government credit scheme, and other self employed individuals who are not captured in the salary increment initiative of the Federal Government.

How can satchet water that started as #5 per one became ₦50 per one in some areas, with lower currency such as ₦20, ₦10, ₦5 becoming irrelevant each day without purchasing value.

Until an average Nigerian without collateral can approach Nigeria Credit Corporation and other financial institutions for loan to support their businesses and other productive activities. Until unemployed graduates can approach Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Nigeria with their business plan, credentials and proposals and get a credit approval with growth support tools like training/skills acquisition workshop/conference to ensure productivity, effectiveness and efficiency in operation and monitoring of performance to avoid redirection of approved credit..

Continuous increment of civil servants salaries and other staffs of government without considering other groups will not end the cycle of emigration of skilled, talented, competent and resourceful Nigerians to other countries, widening the brain drain gap, as more Nigerians without opportunity for growth and wealth creation will continue to prioritize JAPA as an escape plan from systemic poverty and hunger induced frustration.

My encounter with Christ at The Elevation Church Maryland (Spirit-Power-Innovation)



On the 16th of August 2026, I had an encounter with Jesus Christ through my experience with the spirit filled beautiful people of the Elevation Church under the spiritual leadership of pastor Godman Akinlabi and his disciples working with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

As a Nigerian with worship experience across different Nigerian churches in different state of the Federation, the core values, mission statement, loving people, vibrant youths, technology driven operation, visionary leadership e. t. c are one of the reasons for the rapid growth and expansion the Elevation church have experience in recent times since the establishment in 2010.

The intellectual programming and segmentation of the church into smaller workable units and groups, have earned the church reputation of worshippers friendly and people integrated organization with effective feedback structure (mission, care, counseling e. t. c) and coordination of programmes in a way that brings people of different age group to Christ.

The Elevation Church have brought innovations to connecting with God while maintaining the culture of prayer, worship, devotion, baptism, with emphasis on the scriptures and doing the words, while empowering and supporting the church (people) for mutual growth in the love of Christ.


The warm embrace approach to worshippers through ever smiling protocols, the active traffic marshals directing flow and movement of vehicles, the spirit filled ministers and choristers connecting the physical atmosphere with the spiritual realm through their voices singing the songs of praise and leading the congregation in rendering songs of worship in adoring and exhorting the power of God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit.

How LAMATA is transforming urban transportation in Lagos and the need the for nationwide adoption of it blueprints

Lagos State as a mega city state in West Africa have invested heavily in infrastructural development and setting the pace of modern day urban transportation in West Africa.

Since the establishment of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) as a state agency focused on annexing existing roads and means of transportation with 21st century transportation infrastructural standard which can be compared to cities in Western world.


The upgrading of the face of Lagos transport system from the old medium like Danfo (Yellow buses), yellow painted taxis, motorcycles as means of conveying people and goods from one point to another in the state have been transformed by the visionary and transformational leadership style the state have adopted in the last 3 decades.

With the introduction of BRT systems in the 2000's, a transportation model designed to ease traffic and provide alternative platform that can beat the traffic congestion which the state is known for due to it population size. With a carve out road from the existing known roads and expansion of old roads to ease movement across strategic areas linking the mainland with the island.

The thought of introducing and constructing new rail tracks so as to provide alternatives means of transportation across the state with links into neighboring states should be commended. The implementation of these strategically crafted transportation model systems in the commercial and economic capital city of Nigeria, have further solidify the state as not just a centre of excellence in Nigeria, but central of innovation driven excellence across sectors in Africa.

Today, Lagos State rail plan on paper have been executed with modern rail carriages acquired by the state government and supporting technologies procured for monitoring, assessment, connection between different rail terminals and train's during operations.

The beauty of the Blue line and Red line rail transportation system cannot be under emphasized, as this transportation initiative not only contributed to ease of movement of people and encouraging timely commercial activities within the state but also provided massive employment opportunities for citizens working in different terminals, on the train and generating revenue for the state to facilitate other development projects.

The new direction under the management team led by Mrs Abimbola Akinajo (FNSE) as managing director with discipline, committed, passionate and innovative team members working
towards amplifying the mission and vision of the founding fathers in making Lagos a livable city through the planning and implementation of an integrated,cost effective, efficient, and sustainable transport system for Lagos State.

Why every sensible Nigerians should commend the rescue efforts of the abducted school children of Ogbomosho & Kwara residents

The safe return of the abducted teachers, principals and school children by terrorists in Oriire local government area, and also the returned of over 100 residents of Woro community, kaima local government of kwara state who spent almost six months in captivity, have sparked nationwide jubilation among well wishing Nigerians that have been praying for the safe return of the kidnapped children and pressuring the government across media spaces to do everything in it power to secure the release of those abducted pupils, staffs, villagers and others in the confinement of kidnappers .

The office of the National Security Adviser, led by Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and the combined efforts of the Nigeria security establishments working collaboratively in ending banditry and terrorism in Nigeria, the Joint intelligence operations across different theaters of security operation is yielding positive outcomes, giving back confidence and impression that insecurity and other challenges the country is facing will soon become history.

While insecurity is been politicized and weaponized as a tool of power negotiation from some quarters, the recent decisive onslaught and commitment of the Nigeria army and sister agencies providing necessary support and coordination in crushing terrorism, it financial promoters and logistics network across the Geo-political zones, these impactful actions are now visible and the effectiveness of these strategies glaring from the recent results with promises of safer Nigeria through the proposal of the state police formation and the bill for creation of Geo- political zones government commission to administer and coordinate regional integration, collective development, security and cooperation.
Blind criticisms without offering alternative approach in addressing issues breeds hatred and resentment, these emotions can lead to ingratitude and can demoralized our gallant soldiers, Police, Vigilantes and other volunteers who are sacrificing their lives, shedding their bloods and risking everything for us to be safe. undermining their efforts through social media denial of accomplishments and when commendation is substituted for condemnation, this could trigger a shockwave that could jeopardize their commitments and sincerity to future security actions.
