1 Marrying an officer means you will be protected

Getting married to someone in the military in Nigeria is
a very beautiful thing. Firstly, most of them get married
in grand style and the ceremony is always different
from the usual wedding ceremonies in Nigeria.

After attending a couple of weddings in which either of
the couple is an officer in the military system, one may
start to get used to the program and how it is being run.
A military wedding is not what we see every day, yet
one cannot help but admire the couples and the way the
other officers celebrate them.
The allure that comes with walking down the aisle with a
man dressed in military regalia is simply unimaginable.
It is quite impossible for one to attend a military
wedding and not have your heart swell with pride when
you see the couple emerge.
One cannot also overrule the fact that you may go green
with envy or jealousy when you see how cute the
couples are. Even though we know the officer getting
married is most likely to dress in the ceremonial way,
we still look forward to seeing them all the same.

When Uche was in SS3, his teacher always yelled at him, calling him a waste of conception, time and space and a sure failure in life". . One day, poor Uche's grandma came to school to check out how her grandson was doing. The teacher told her quite frankly that she had never seen such a dumb boy all her life; and advised her to withdraw and enroll him under an artisan, because formal schooling for Uche would be a total waste of time and money. The grandma, shocked at the teacher's remarks, withdrew her grandson from the school and relocated to Maiduguri. . **** 25 years later **** The teacher was diagnosed with a brain tumour. All the doctors she met advised her to do surgery and only a certain doctor in the whole of Nigeria (practicing in Maiduguri) could perform this procedure. Left with no alternative, the poor teacher agreed to have the surgery performed. . Fortunately, It was successful. When she awoke hours after the surgery, she saw a handsome young doctor smiling down at her. She was on artificial respiration from a machine that provided her oxygen. She wanted to thank him but could not speak. She looked sideways and suddenly began to express shock & anguish, her face started to turn pale; she frantically made attempts to raise her hand and tell him something but couldn't. She struggled, she fought hard-Then she gave up the Ghost and died. The young doctor was shocked. He tried to find out what went wrong. Eventually, it was found out that it was our dear Uche (now working as a cleaner in the hospital) who had disconnected the lady's oxygen machine to connect his phone charger. Wait ooo!... Don't tell me that you thought that Uche became the doctor? . Lol If I hear.... This is not Nollywood.!! Uche no know book be say eh no know book

Welcome to yet another Episode of #WizkidDonBlow . We have got a juicy one from Drake and star boy “wizzy”.
So apparently, Grammy award artist and superstar – Drake was recently posting pictures of certain celebrities and personalities on his Instagram page while promoting the release of his New Album titled “ VIEWS “. On the pictures, Drake was also seen in each one of them but was much smaller in size so you have to look well to see him. However that’s not the point. The point is that Drake recognized our very own continental superstar music sensation – Wizkid; and based on the contribution Wizkid made on one of his recently released record “ One Dance“, Drake deemed it fit to use his picture as one of the pictures to promote his album soon to be released on iTunes in a couple of hours.
Amazing right? Yeah…I know! There is no doubt that there was a personal recognition for our very own Star Boy (Wizkid) and more recognition for the Afro beat sound.

For many Africans, the tradition of the bride price
payment became a subject of serious controversy. If
God specifically gave this law as a condition for
marriage, or is it a man-made tradition? Time to find
out the truth!


1. Bride price is not a condition for marriage but only
as a penalty for rape.
Exodus 22:16-17: “If a man seduces a virgin who is not
pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the
bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father
absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the
bride-price for virgins.”

Deuteronomy 22:28-29: “If a man happens to meet a
virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and
they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels[a]
of silver. He must marry the young woman,for he has
violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.”
You can still pay the bride price and still be denied the
woman to be your wife by her father.
At the same time, if the man has never slept with the
woman, there should be no need to pay money for her.

2. There was never ever a place in the Bible where God
commanded the bride’s parent to present a price. It is
the groom’s responsibility to bring whatever for the
lady he wants to marry.
For example, in the Bible was Isaac’s marriage to
Rebekah. There was no monetary exchange or penalty
between the two families. Affordable gifts were given to
Rebekkah’s family by Abraham (but not demanded by
Rebekkah’s family). Read Genesis 24:52-54.

3. Bride price, according to the Bible, is all about
virgins.
Genesis 24:15-16: “Before he had finished praying,
Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was
the daughter of Bethuel son of Milkah, who was the wife of
Abraham’s brother Nahor. The woman was very beautiful, a
virgin; no man had ever slept with her. She went down to
the spring, filled her jar and came up again.”

4. Payment of monetary bride price is a tradition and
not a direct commandment from God.
In some countries like India, a woman actually pays a
dowry for the groom and not the other way round.

5. Presenting list or asking for monetary bride price is
man made a rule. Therefore, it becomes a sin because
it’s better to obey GOD rather than men.
Acts 5:29: “Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must
obey God rather than human beings!”

Military officers of 28 Task Force Brigade yesterday December 4th, arrested another Boko Haram terrorist suspect, Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, believed to be the terrorists Chief Cameraman and suspect number 58 on the list of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list. He was arrested at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The troops also arrested two other suspected Boko Haram terrorists along with two other terrorists at at Rumirgo and Kilakasa.
This was revealed in a press statement released today, November 5, and signed by the Acting Director Army Public Relations,Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman. It reads:
"In yet another unprecedented achievement, vigilant troops of 28 Task Force Brigade today arrested another Boko Haram terrorist suspect, Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, believed that be the terrorists Chief Cameraman and suspect number 58 on the list of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list. He was arrested at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. 9. There are more than 600 individual skeletal muscles and 206 bones in your body.
If all 600+ muscles contracted and pulled in the same direction, you could lift over twenty tons of resistance. Additionally, the adult skeleton is composed of 206 bones, but at birth an infant skeleton contains approximately 350 bones. Over time, some of the 350 bones fuse together and eventually grow to the 206 adult figure.
10. You need to consume a quart of water each day for four months to equate to the amount of blood your heart pumps in one hour.
Additionally, over a lifetime, at your normal (resting) heart rate you will have pumped enough blood to fill thirteen oil super tankers. To further expound on this fact, on average, your heart beats 40,000,000 times per year. Doing the math, over your lifetime (both men and women averaged), that results in 2,600,000,000 heartbeats (two billion, six hundred million). This does not even factor in your increased heartbeats due to your love of exercise

Following Radio Biafra director,Nnamdi Kanu’s appearance at an Abuja Magistrate Court on Monday and the pro-Biafra protests that took place in Abuja afterwards, activists under the umbrella ofIndigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)have vowed to storm Lagos.
You will recall that following a court order instructingDepartment of State Services (DSS)to release Kanu from detention for arraignment, he was finally arraigned on Monday, in an Abuja Magistrate Court.
Some IPOB members who post via the Radio Biafra Facebook page put out a notice stating that Lagos would be the next scene for pro-Biafra protests.
