Funny enough I went with someone who does inspection before buying the car and I don't know why he didn't see it, either with his scanner or physically.

The tire pressure light was on (which is the only light on) so I thought one of the tyres was not adequately inflated, I checked all four tyres to verify their pressure just to find out that it was just one tyre that was very low, after putting the right pressure the light still stayed on. I told the guy the next day and he said yes he saw it but didn't tell me because it doesn't matter.
I am saying this to point out that maybe there was something about the heat that came up on the scanner but he didn't tell me, when next I get to his place will bring up the issue with him.

Hmmm it's actually 2 things
Either your vehicles fan has been connected directly and made to run off ignition power( typically involves deleting the thermostats ) and running a separate relay
The second reason why this can happen is actually a safety feature I've noticed on Toyota and Lexus
When there seems to be an issues with the ect sensor, or the fan module, the car would blare the fan continuously so the vehicle won't overheat, ( is your temperature gauge reading anything )
If it's the first case scenario, it's not like it'll destroy your engine, but you'd be having higher fuel consumptions because the car gets to operating temperature slower. if you'd like to revert back to manufacturers spec a mechanic would need to properly inspect and ascertain why they directed the fans in the first place so as to avoid future overheating issues. Under normal factory operation, this behavior is generally not expected on a healthy Toyota Venza V6.

Normally:

* On a cold start with the A/C OFF, the radiator cooling fans should remain OFF.
* As the engine reaches its normal operating temperature (approximately 90–95°C), the Engine Control Module (ECM) commands the fans to operate as needed.
* If the A/C is switched ON, one or both fans may operate immediately to provide airflow through the condenser.


• Important Observation

If the fans are running immediately on every cold start with the A/C OFF, one or more of the following conditions should be investigated.

Good Day All.

I just got a 2008 Venza (V6) and I observed that the sound is kind of high than what I think it should be. So, I decided to check the car this morning when I started it and discovered that the fans came on as I started the car.

My question is this: Is it normal for the fans to come on once I start the car without any load (e.g. A/C) or the engine been warm?

I was surprised when they called me the next day. Even MTN was surprised because they called me a day after it was installed to ask me to say the installation time might exceed their usual timeline of 7 days and to allow for up to 14 days. I had to tell them it had been installed already

Chaiii, I will wait and see how long it takes. Last last they will come and do the needful.
But come to think of it, if it takes long for installation then what will now happen if you have a problem for them to come and rectify, hmmm

Your installation was done fast, mine that I paid for since last week Wednesday has still not been installed.
Pertaining your Ethernet cable issue it might be a setting within your router that is causing it.

I've just got this installed in Lagos. Ketu/Alapere area. Although the street is not listed on the MTN application, they installed the pole about a month ago. I saw a sticker on the pole with an agent's phone number and I reached out yesterday. She registered it for me and it was installed today.

So far so good. I'm connected via wifi but the latency is a kind of poor for fiber at about 120ms. Even worse than Starlink which I currently use. The download speed hovers around the 50 Mbps I paid for.

One issue I'm still facing is that none of the ethernet ports work. The indicator light on the router blinks but there is no internet. I've tried the cable that came with it and other with different devices. The router is a Huawei router

Fix the scanner no communicating issue, my bet is on the throttle body. It may have failed.

My car has this 'scanner no communicating' issue (so when I connect my OBD Reader I can't get any info from the vehicle), what could be the cause?

Some fault might be cheaper to fix while some others can run into higher bills, from your description it’s seems the CV axle/ shaft might need changing. Why not get someone to at least get you a better used unit without all of this light or at least one which fixing won’t cost that much or affect Powertrain functionality. The units I have seen all have their check engine lights on, ABS light on, traction off and others. Then there is this particular noise I do hear when I fully turn the steering while making a U-Turn.
