Hmmm. . . .this section has been overtaken by Phone Sales & Buying threads/adverts_{. . .despite a section created solely for the posting of such threads and repeated warning by the mods for such peeps to desist from posting the threads here.}

My suggestions:
Set the spambot to automatically ban the posters and knock off all Sales & Buying threads/Ads to the Phone/Internet market child-board. This can be done by tagging certain words or strings common to all such threads into the spambot.

In cases where such threads escape the spambot and the posters are not automatically banned, the Admin & Super moderator should ban the posters with the reason for their ban clearly stated. ie ''For posting a phone ad in the phone section instead of in the Phone Internet market child-board''  

^^^^A really hard line has to be taken otherwise it'd be business as usual.

I concur.The flooding of Advert of bb for sale,etc is alarming on fone section.Same pple kept posting over and over again.I locked/moved threads until i was exhausted
The solution suggested by my co-mod(Semid4lyfe) is germane and welcome by me.
But in case we need additional mod,i will like to suggest "Dragnet".The guy has survive "rainy n dry season" on phone section and He is consistent and dogged chap on this section8)

Honsule, Nay! None of d two options worked. After installing d Rompatcher and i clicked on it it gave an error message to d effect dat ''sys/bin/Patcher*.LDD Not found!'' and hence it can't install applications. What do i do? Am thinkin of restoring it to factory settings

your phone has not been h@cked for it to hv given u that error.Just hard format and use ur cert n key to sign Helloz2 and install

you can h@ck your phone by flashing via JAF or Phoenix, so called PNHT / flash hack method.
If you are ready,download either phoenix 2010 or 2011

Honsule, i still have this question to ask: I have a second N97 for which i had gotten a cert and key for some one year ago. I thought i got it fully hacked but not until i started the process of this second one that you did for me that i discovered it was not fully hacked becos the HelloX with the bull icon is still there and with no Rompatcher+. I now tried to correct it but once i clicked on the Hellox, it asked whether i want to hack it again or unhack it. I chose 'hack again' but once it gets to 'unpacking files' it remains there for eternity.
Now, the question is, since i still have the cert and key, can i unhack it and then use the cert and key to sign the Hellox and re-hack it? I need your professional advice before i take any further step pls

There are two ways to go about it.
1.Download rompatcher lite plus 3.1 install and complete the h@cking
2.uninstall the Hellox2,use ur cert n key to sign Hellox 2.11 and install

Tanx man! I ve done dose things and is installing but some it will say file not supported but nothing like all those errors and cert contraints again, Its just that I do encounter file format not supported. I believe is ok now. your wonderfu man!

If u try to install software that is not urs,it will give u that error of not supported.Mine does that too

i started a tutorial for Group 2.On how to flash ur phone,just follow the steps.
first of get and install Phoenix 2010 or 2011 on ur laptop and let get cracking

For no reasons should you uninstalled the Rompatcher.Just leave it there.
Hope u can now installed software without stress otherwise try this:

"Do this:complete your h@cking by clicking on the Rompatcher,then click on options,then All patches,then Apply.Exit and try to install software and tell what's up ok"

And continue to enjoy installing software.Cert n key will not work for u
