Jamb has never offered any candidate admission independent of the various schools.Jamb has no right and has never admitted students on its own.Their function is just to regulate.Note their function is to organise exams and (regulate) issue the necessary admission letters to students whose names have been submitted by school of their choices.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions.[1] The board conducts entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities. The board is also charged with the responsibility to administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and private monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of educations. All of these candidates must have obtained the West Africa School Certificate, now West African Examinations Council, WAEC, or its equivalent, National Examination Council (Nigeria), NECO.[2] [3]

I never said the are to admit students...

In the case you didn't read it properly before...

I clarely used the word OVERSEE

I was only replying that guy that said

Board...!!!

So clearly It's important and probably

constitutionally required for them

to be largely involved if not totally oversee the

entire thing....
