Hello, does anyone know of a parcel forwarding service from China to Lagos for small parcels? Less than 5 KG for example. I have a retailer from China, not an Aliexpress, that I want to order for delivery to Chinese address. Then I need a service to give me their Chinese address and receive my parcel and then deliver to me in Nigeria. I am trying to find one that is cheaper than price charged by GIGL (GIG Logistics) ~$12/kg. I need a parcel forwarding, not sourcing, service. Thank you. |

Someone on Nairaland mentioned Zenith and Stanbic IBTC banks are working. I think I tried GTB, UBA, Kuda, Access previously that didn't work. I don't have Zenith or Stanbic. If anyone has either they could try it. |
GloriousGbola:Thanks so much for replying. |
GloriousGbola:Hi, Please could you tell me what card you used? I have been trying to buy from the Microsoft Store in Nigeria and several bank cards I tried have failed to work. Thank you |
Hello, Via your WhatsApp +234 703 731 0215, I have been trying to get a quote for a laptop on eBay since yesterday. I haven't been given the price. It is my understanding that you don't accept that we ship to you, instead we send a link to the item we want and you give us the price in Naira to pay right? I sent the link yesterday, though I have been replied to, I haven't been given the price. Please how long does it take to get the price? Thank you. |
topgun98:No, still doesn't work. On a similar note, I was hopeful of trying Providus Bank, because apparently they are the only bank that allow USD transactions on their Naira cards. They have a policy to lock 100,000 (when last I checked) in the account for three months to receive the card. Didn't think it was worth it. |
Hello, please what is the price/process for the Coursera Plus Annual subscription? If it's okay with you, could you reply on this thread or by a private message? I don't want to use WhatsApp. |
Bolubaba:I'm not sure the list you refer to, but on a Windows PC with the region set to Nigeria, the prices on Microsoft Store app are in naira even after clicking the game. Same for the Xbox Store app on the same Windows PC. Perhaps you could check that? I've also just thought that domiciliary account cards from Nigerian banks may work, but I don't have any to try. |
Toneyo:Thank you for the information, but I'm trying to purchase on the Nigerian Store because of the lower prices compared to the US store. Seems strange that no one would be able to buy anything from the Nigerian store and Microsoft doesn't react. |
Bolubaba:I have tried Naira Virtual Cards, they failed. Have you used any card on the Microsoft Store within the past 18 months? |
Hi, Has anyone used a Nigerian card to make purchases on the Microsoft or Xbox Nigeria online stores? I tried several Naira bank cards from Nigerian banks. They wouldn't add to the Microsoft Account, but fail with an error instead. I managed to add a USD card from a fintech, Geegpay, but when the payment page gave an error about needing to change my Microsoft region to match the card. The USD card has a Nigerian billing address by the way. The Microsoft Store in Nigeria has prices listed in Naira and wouldn't even let you select a billing country outside Nigeria. It seems like Naira cards should work, similar to how they do for Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc in Nigeria. I know other people have had this issue with the Microsoft Store in Nigeria before, I was wondering if anyone has a found a solution that works. |
