As for knowing the CPU or GPU that your device has before hand, the only way is to ask the seller.

I'm not sure if I understand your purchase requirements. Are your purchase decisions set to only options delivered by your contact? Also is the purchase urgent? I am asking because I previously said it is not a great price in light of the other options I listed.

The laptop you mentioned in this post doesn't have the CPU model number, just that it's an i7 8th gen. There are multiple i7 8th gen CPUs. It also doesn't have the particular GPU, just that it's 4GB VRAM. However I will still say it is decent for 620k.

If you are asking if the laptop is good, yes. It is up to you to now determine if you are happy with the price.

2133 MT/s is the max RAM speed for Intel Laptop CPUs on DDR4 before the 7th gen.

Though this will work on any laptop CPU supporting DDR4.

I don't think this is a great price, compared to the other one I mentioned earlier.

The G6 of 550K has a better CPU, GPU and price than this one.

The G6 I mentioned is better in every way than this G5.

What do you want to use the laptop for? This could help decide what features are worth going for, in case you want to go for a different laptop entirely. Do you want a light weight one? A powerful one? Are you doing 3D CAD, Game Design or playing Games? Programming? Or just general browsing and Office applications?

I don't think the laptop is worth 700K.

for 550,000. The CPU and GPU on these are better than one the G5 you listed. The extra 16GB of RAM that the one you listed has over this one can be bought for 60 to 80K later, if you need it.

One thing to note about the HP Zbook series is that they come in a wide array of configurations, different CPU, screen resolution, screen type, GPU type etc.

personally I believe the 550K is the better option.

Also to clarify some confusion I have seen on this post. The HP Zbook 15 series are all 15 inch laptops. The 15 in the name @HP Zbook 15 G5" stands for 15.6 inches screen size. There is also the HP Zbook 14 and HP Zbook 17 for different screen sizes.

Personally I would always advice workstation laptops, they are built wonderfully and have many benefits that normal laptops do not, for example the G5/G6 have four ram slots, two m.2 ssd slots and a sata slot in addition.

The G5 HPs have 8th gen Intel processors, Xeon or i-series, and the G6 have 9th Gen. If you don't need the powerful CPU or GPUs that these ones have, you could also go for a more power efficient modern Intel like 12th gen plus. To get a 12th gen plus for this price range, you would probably not have a dedicated GPU, but the modern ones would have better battery life and run cooler.

i am not sure that you will get value for your money if you buy a play station in nigeria - that is assuming you want access to a lot of games.

microsoft actually has a presence in nigeria and you can but a large part of their catalog off MS store in naira. with your dollars you can actually subscribe to game pass. though you may not have teh time to fully enjoy your purchase sha

On a similar note, I was hopeful of trying Providus Bank, because apparently they are the only bank that allow USD transactions on their Naira cards. They have a policy to lock 100,000 (when last I checked) in the account for three months to receive the card. Didn't think it was worth it.

I'm not sure the list you refer to, but on a Windows PC with the region set to Nigeria, the prices on Microsoft Store app are in naira even after clicking the game. Same for the Xbox Store app on the same Windows PC.

Perhaps you could check that?

I've also just thought that domiciliary account cards from Nigerian banks may work, but I don't have any to try.

I used UBA gold dollar card. I changed my region to US. Picked an address from Houston Texas. It worked for me.

Has anyone used a Nigerian card to make purchases on the Microsoft or Xbox Nigeria online stores?

I tried several Naira bank cards from Nigerian banks. They wouldn't add to the Microsoft Account, but fail with an error instead.

I managed to add a USD card from a fintech, Geegpay, but when the payment page gave an error about needing to change my
Microsoft region to match the card. The USD card has a Nigerian billing address by the way.

The Microsoft Store in Nigeria has prices listed in Naira and wouldn't even let you select a billing country outside Nigeria.

It seems like Naira cards should work, similar to how they do for Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc in Nigeria.

I know other people have had this issue with the Microsoft Store in Nigeria before, I was wondering if anyone has a found a solution that works.
