Officer Igbobie Uzezi, of the Nigerian Air Force has accused one of her superiors, Flight Lieutenant B.S Vibelko, of raping and drugging her in 2011. The lieutenant was sued along with the Chief of Air Staff, and Attorney-General of the Federation.
The suit for her unlawful dismissal, number FHC/L/CS/10/17, was filed at the Federal High Court, Lagos Division on January 5, 2017, by Malachy Ugwummadu Chambers on behalf of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, which is handling the case.

The promise by the federal government to solve the electricity problem of this once great country seems to be failing as two power plants were shut down on Sunday, bringing the total number of idle plants to nine.
