Pgateway:Paystack is bad news! Customer Support is handled by one person and turns out that, she sits as a goddess (very unfriendly, and just waiting to chase you away). My boss did everything possible to explain to her how our account should be setup, she kept arguing as if she knew the business we are doing better than us. No be customer go explain wetin he want? I weak oh. ![]() My brother, I say our developers taya for Paystack wahala. I'm very sure she didn't escalate it. Next thing, she closed the account and said in the mail that our company closed it. That is how money will be paid and they will say the money didn't enter. Don't be decieved now that business is smooth, wait till you have a transaction that goes bad. Paystack ko, Thiefstack ni. God forbid! |
@success101 You mean you know DAIHS Limited? lol Wow! the MD is a friend of mine, um Mr. Yemi Akinsola That's nice. Really nice. May be I'll be on this project. It's a sensitive one for a new company like this. I'll call him and get back to you. And nice to know you are doing well. |
@ musa_fresh The bottom line is dont fool urself packaging mattersThis is true! A lot of applications fall short of quality, intelligence, and uniqueness. One of the first things we look for in your application and your CV is whether you wrote it "personally". It doesn't necessarily have to be that you wrote it, but what it means is that we want to be sure if you - the owner - understand what you have written. It's really funny but - your CV in the way you write it can tell so many things about you. I can tell if you are able to manage resources well I can tell if you are able to receive instructions and carry them out I can tell if you are confident I can tell if you really are intelligent, and creative There is a lot of information recruiting agency can get from just asking you to do very little things like write essays, or come for interviews, or while you are arriving (your time-consciousness, your attitude, your character, your appearance, etc) So it's not just your CV - but that's the STAGE 1. And you can't cross STAGE 2 without crossing STAGE 1. this means u should have different formats of CVs depending on where u r applyingI disagree totally with this idea. You are either NOT qualified, QUALIFIED or OVER-qualified. The number of formats you have are NOT your guarantee. What you need is a "tailored" CV. i.e a CV that directly connects with an open position in a company. How will you expect an employer to "just take you serious" when you haven't shown to him that you totally understand what you are applying for. Now, for those who think I am here to make money, I think you should think again. And if you are out there and you have tried and tried without success on job applications You can either get help or stay the way you are. my e-mail is somewhere on this page. Keep adding your replies so that people can get the best of what you know. Ask any question if you have one. Cheers to NLDers!!! |
Hello Nairalanders, For those of you who will be reading this, this is a "very rare opportunity" to learn a few things about your CV. The Yr 2010 is coming close, and you don't want to cry again, "Why me, why me - O Lord" Most of you are sad, frustrated, some of you are tired of sitting at home - not knowing what else to do. The truth is - People Are Getting Employed, EVERYDAY !!! And you know it yourself. >>>The difference is that "they know what you don't know, and they have learnt from their failure!" I work in the Human Resources of a leading bank and we keep laughing at you people everyday. Because you people have not changed, especially those of you who write your CV anyhow YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF YOUR OWN PROBLEM. From Screening to Shortlisting - I see all sorts of RUBBISH you people call CV. YOU SEE A VACANCY AND YOU JUST POOOST YOUR CV THERE without asking "YOURSELF" any question AT ALL. This December 2009 screening is the worst I've seen in my life!!!! "What would it cost you to give a PROFESSIONAL COMPANY to help you write your CV and package it well so that you can get out of this job-seeking mess ONCE AND FOR ALL?" Oh!!! So, you don't know that HR and Brand Consulting firms help students write a comprehensive CV for a token fee? ![]() You see, you people don't read ANYTHING again, only Music and Video!!! Mr. Roland Djang Jnr of Ecobank, Ghana used to say to me: "Your Nigerian boys and girls didn't finish their schooling when they were on campus. So they need to finish it outside the university. That's why we won't hire them." Knowledge is FREE. Just ask. So don't even start guessing rubbish. I don't need your money: but I won't waste my time. An email is ok but not too long. I will show you a few trusted people in that field that can help. Cheers. Michael. micomnext@yahoo.com |
