OP, you are not being objective as you should be.. The NASS are solely to be blame. was the various subtractions, padding and additions they eventually did on the budget part of the original budget? Was it not after the padding and alteration scandal that PMB sent his ministers to confirm and correct the errors after many DGs have been sacked and many civil servants redeployed?

Was the video not shown of Amaechi's defense of the budget of his ministry and the Calabar-Lagos rail project discussed and even made a press statement on the project and was reported by Vanguard?

If their hands (NASS) are clean, why are they bent on insisting that PMB signs the budget without the details? The fact is that the NASS are full of corrupt elements and they thought it is business as usual.. They will fail!!

The Northern Christian Solidarity Forum has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and members of the House of Representatives for appointing Engr. Babachir David Lawal as Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), saying his emergence signal the end of religious conflict in the north.
Chairman of the forum, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, said in a statement that the emergence of Lawal as SGF and and Dogara Yakubu as speaker of the House of Representatives was a clear signal that the president means well for Nigerians.
The statement said Lawal’s appointment shows Buhari’s readiness to fight corruption in the system, adding that it will further strengthen unity among Christians and Muslims in the northern.
“We believe in the competence of Babachir and there is no denying fact that he will help Buhari transform Nigeria for good; that is why we are commending the President and the National Assembly for breaking religious barriers,” the statement noted.
“The NASS did well by voting Dogara, by doing this, they are saying to Nigerians that the era of religious difference in the north is over and never again shall we live like cat and rat in the region,” it added.
The forum assured President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of its willingness to support the administration with prayers and urged the appointees to discharge their duties with the fear God; saying they will give account of their stewardship before the Almighty.
The forum is a non-governmental organisation which focuses on uniting the Church and strengthening unity among Christians and Muslims of northern Nigeria extraction.

Gwaris, d majority tribe of Niger east are 60% christians......only that many hausa fulani and nupe muslims came from other places to Minna and suleja and now many of them are claiming indigeneship. This is what has now made it look like muslims are more in the zone, but by general population of d zone, its still a 50/50 because there r many igbo christians who also came to settle in the zone.
Muslims cannot be more in Gwari land. It is a very big lie!!

Man, you don't know Gwari land more than I do, I spent 5yrs in Niger state as a student. And I do visit d local government in Suleja, shiroro, Chanchaga and Bosso. I am not sentimental and stop being naive. Muslims are always more where the governor happens to be governor. Moreover, the current governor and his deputy are both muslims!! Don't forget the senator representing them since 1999 have always been muslims..

Wish both of them good luck. Dr. Shem would have been the governor now after serving as deputy governor for 8years (1999-2007) but was denied the ticket because of his religion-christianity and he still refuse to decamp. I know Dr.Shem personally as very humble and modest as he is a choir member in our church back then in Minna even when he was the deputy governor. Umaru too, a fellow christian is a grassroot politician and love by his people!! That is why I love the Gwari people, just like the yorubas, religion is not a factor when presenting candidates for election. Imagine them present two Christians for senator in an area where almost 65% of the senatorial district populations are muslims..
Both of them are good and may the people's will prevail.

What does the bokoharam attacker do? He is given bomb to go to a particular market, kill people including himself because his family will be given N50, 000 and when he gets to heaven, 72 virgins will come and meet him. Then identify that man called Bokoharam bomber. Who is that man who will kill himself because of N50,000 and 72 virgins? That man must have been the wretched of the earth made by Nigerian government!! The government that gives oil block worth $800m to individuals when most Nigerian youths cannot afford three square meals a day. Go to the street of Maiduguri and Damaturu and see them there .

The Nigerian government made the Bokoharam members, so once you now dialogue with them as a short-term solution of saving our girls, we immediately begin to redress the polity and evacuate human beings who will agree to bomb themselves because of N50,000 and 72 virgins. He (bokoharam bomber) has been thrown into the street since birth and so he is ready to even make N5,000 to bomb himself and others. Nigeria government must evacuate such people, and by evacuation I mean they must ensure that those people are also citizens and they are treated as citizens. When they are citizens they would not give themselves because of N50, 000.
Secondly, Bokoharam started by bombing churches in a bid to push home the point that western education and western civilizations including going to church is evil. Why is bokoharam doing that? Let’s be realistic to one another, if we want to solve this problem once and for all, what is Christianity in Nigeria today? What are the pastors doing? Pastors are the ones flying in jets all around the world, they build the best and the most expensive universities whereas masses of the people in their respective churches cannot enjoy these facilities. If that is not evil, what is evil?? I would need an unbiased definition of evil.

The Nigerian government should immediately address the problem of theft, robbery and mockery of the name of GOD perpetuated by these individuals who called themselves the men of God. The truth is that most peoples will run away from the idea of talking against 'the man of God' but they are the criminals in this country. Send the pastors and their jets to Maiduguri and Damaturu. Just the way they do crusade on the road and tell us they open the eyes of the blind and raise the dead, let them go and do crusade in Maiduguri and Damaturu and rebuke the powers of Bokoharam!! Let us see the feasibility of the approach.

If it does not work, then we can conclude that they are not pastors, then we remove all the jets from them and tell them to go and sit down in their offices . Those ones who have PhD should come back to the universities and lecture .
If we are not ready to take the bull by its horn, we will keep on doing what Fela calls "Akuna kuna" elder brother of perambulations we will not move forward, we shall just be perambulating!!
