andrewbaba44: Same simmy you people dont rate, i am glad you rate simmy
But i am sure you are using it to diss another player
According to the points, 1 seria A goal is not eual to 3 belgian league goals
Go and check the european golden shoe and onauchu is there ahead of players with 16 goals in europe top leagues I have always rate simy the only striker I don't rate is Onauchu and used to rate awoniyi but not anymore |

andrewbaba44: I disagree with this statement
Any good naija player will do well in the german league
If not because of injury awoniyi would have gotten nothing less than 10 goals
I dont like this mentality when we say a certain league is not good for naija players just as someone here said that porto doesnt like naija players Germans are known to play fast ans high pressing football, which I believe many Nigeria players have struggled with in time past. Your thought on awoniyi is merely an assumption wish I can bet won't have come to pass |

andrewbaba44: He get the goals when needed
Not as if your others strikers are banging assist at europe top leagues
You rate ike ugbo right
Onauchu is here to stay for you all Ike because of his work rate and pressing should dude go to Monaco or Germany and play well,I trust Rohr he will call him up asap with no stress. Let Onauchu go to Lyon and prove me wrong Will watch should Sadiq start play in La liga and Simy probably in Inter next season if Rohr will over look them for one player in belguim ] |

charlesemeka85: that's all. If it is those qualities will pick Simy over him twice on Saturday and every other day. C mon bro, to score in Italy is not beans Simy scored 21 goals last season in SeriaB and now in SeriaA that even Odogwu Ronaldo struggles has 17 goals What more? I wil equate 3 goals in Belgian league to 1 SeriaA goal |

andrewbaba44: Nwakaeme that almost everybody here insulted for no good reason , just because of only 1 appearance , my brothers here wanted him to score hatrick to impress them as if other players where superb in their first cap
Double standard at its peak
According to you there is nothing special about onauchu ,maybe because he is scoring in belgium , but we all celebrated osimhen who got lesser goals at chaleroi
Maybe if onauchu is 21 you guys might be a fan of him C mon tell me about Onauchu quality? I am here reading? Besides his positioning, aerial prowess and finishing what else? |

ChrisKels: I like Onuachu sha He has improved lately he seems to under stand his strength and weakness so well. He has improved on his positioning and aerial advantage and that was paved way for him considering the amateur defending and space given in the Belgian league not every good striker can take advantage of that though, that's why I give him credit |

andrewbaba44: Why do i feel that most of you guys only rate younger players ? Nahh not at all If I should have my way will call up nwakeme as a winger or SS Just that there is nothing so special about Onachu besides his height and positioning within the 18 yard box |

Kid is skillful and creative as well Don't mind Andy if some of us here really look at football technically we will know why Sadiq was called ahead of the lanky Onauchu Sadiq is the player closer to Kanu we have got no more no less |

Kog45: Hmmm Onuachu yet to convinced you right... I don't rate him too but the two goals against Benin and Lesotho gave him a lifeline in eagles set up.
Despite being highest Nigeria striker he was on standby list meaning Rohr doesn't rate him much but he has done what we needed most against Benin and Lesotho.
I think for now it is Osimehn,Onuachu and Iheanacho with Simy knocking not forgetting Moffi,Sadiq and probably Maja and Awoniyi.
Humility talent yapa with options like kilode... Yeah you're right But in all honesty there is nothing special about him unlike Oshimen, Moffi and Sadiq this guys are skillful and tend to have a high work rate and can press |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by humility33(m): 7:49am On Apr 11, 2021 |
Kog45: Faby, talent yapa but the major issue is Rohr.I don't see him achieving much with this team cos his tactical approach is limited. Yeah....the coach is incompetent but I think defensively we need CB than can use their head to score goals from corner kicks, free kicks like Zouma of Chelsea or even Joseph Yobo what's the essence of having tall CBs and Ndidi on the pitch still can convert one corner kick into a goal.... The way we waste this corner kicks hurts me. So I think we need to drop the praise on Ekong and Balogun pairing... with their heights they can't play good offensive roles. I think ekong should be dropped for Akpoguma who can jump to nod the ball into the net |

Kog45: Yes he is not rated here except for someone like andrew44 who rated him highly.
Some even tagged him a PK specialist but the guy is a proven striker, scoring a brace against Napoli says it all. Nah, egbon I rate him highly the only striker I don't want in RE call up is onauchu forget the goals he scored against Lesotho and Benin, on a good day any average striker can score against those teams Simy, Oshimen and Nacho/Sadiq Umar should be called up for now and Onauchu remain on standby list |

I love this. he has a vision and a dream if only Nigerian coaches have this same thought pattern It will be so awesome and they will avoid distractions like taking bribes for players call ups and allowing sentiment influence players selection because they've got a higher goal and destination they aim at and such won't allow the meagre tips obstruct them |

You see why Rohr and Pinnick are dumb Why not invite this guy in against Benin and lesotho even after he got his passport Give him a minute or more in one of the match and then cap tie him.... Now we may likely loose him to France I doubt if this guy will end up play for us We keep loosing this guys because the NFF have been clueless |

Icon4s: My friend, the national team does not play so many matches that a striker will only be waiting for crosses before he delivers. As a striker, there are games you need to boss your way through the defense to make the deference in a game.
A good one from Paul anyways. He has just ensured his name stays within the national team. Well said Egbon You nailed it |

IDENNAA: Like I said earlier before subzero re-echoed my point. Aina doesn't bring much to the table. He is neither here nor there; being an English man has its advantages. It includes playing top flight football even when you are mediocre. Awaziem is more intelligent and sticks to his duties. Loll How many assists and goals does awaziem have for the super goals and how many does Aina have Can't help with their defensive stats for super eagles though |

Eldorado14: Then lets get our midfielders who can spray penetrative passes even if they are in other african leagues eg Egypt or are in not in the top 5 leagues (not the foreign borns, they are wasting time) lets get them NOW. we need those passes in our game going into AFCON against ultradefensive team. Woe unto super eagles if they meet an ultradefensive team in the round of 16 without Iwobi because e no go funny. I dey talk now nobody dey see am We have gotten Olise for now I am scared we may loose him though But should we get him on board...that would be a good back up to Alex. For now..I can't mention any. I pointed it out in the first half and I believe Rohr noticed same n talked to him during the break. He is creative, skillful and can get himself in goal scoring positions so he needs to unleash these qualities when opposition teams sits deep to defend Etebo would have had an heyday today |

forgiveness: I Dey cool. Thank God for that.
Can you score it?
He used his technique to score that goal. I am sure you would have placed the ball over the bar or make the ball nack you for ground. Lolllllzzz The guy has techniques I won't deny but he needs to study and understand Africa football...just like Aribo is doing. Scoring for Belgium means he can do same for Nigeria many of our past and present players like Osaze, Amokachi, oshimen and others once leverage on the Belgian league meaning it is a good developmental league He can score goals but he needs to up his game |
