Behavior and lifestyle are subject to change and fluctuations but sexuality is not. Being gay goes beyond wanting to copulate with the same sex. It's emotional and systematic. We're emotionally, physically and romantically attracted to the same sex.

Sex is just "PLEASURE" and that is what it is. I still have sex with ladies if I want but that is just what it is...."Pleasure". I can never be emotionally or romantically attracted to a lady like i do to guys. A straight man may have same sex intercourse but it won't still make him love or be emotionally attracted to guys like he is with ladies cos it's just a momentary pleasure.

Most heterosexuals don't understand this concept because all they see women nowadays is as their sex objects. So when they hear "GAY" their minds immediately reverts to anal sex. "Guy go find better pussi f*ck abeg, you go turn straight" They don't know that having sex with ladies/men(lesbians) won't ungay people. If it would, gays wouldn't even exist again.

To most of them a relationship should be defined with Sex sex sex, they don't care if they wanna truly love the person. One day I'll make a thread about this.

Actually, what you've described is not cause of homosexuality but cause of society. Your family may reject you cause you're gay but that's a societal situation cause a lot gay people are loved by their families in many other societies. The very successful gay guys in Nigeria are probably closeted cause of society so you wouldn't know them. You are right, a lot of gay people are unhappy and even suicidal but then again, it is cause of the stigmatization from the society. For any unsuccessful gay guy, there's a million unsuccessful straight guys. So there's no logical link between sexuality and success. You can't possibly be coming from a religious perspective because the heterosexual people are obviously more promiscuous than gay people seeing that they aren't stigmatized in any way so it would really be ridiculous to assume that god would be so biased as to check the gender you're fornicating with before deciding your fate.

If there's anything that needs change there, it's the perspective of the African society. You can't be discriminating a set of people and then turn around to ask them if they are happy. Why would they be happy? This is exactly what happens to blacks here in the Americas. They are denied strategic and top level management positions and then the whites turn around to ask why most black people are poor and unhappy.
