Besides candidates for each school should b like 3 or less. U don't expect everybody to b on nairaland.

Honestly if not for u guys and some past scholars I know. I would have assumed d selection process has been concluded.

It's already 2 weeks to University of Aberdeen resumption. Yet no news. Spdc has not even reached out to d schools...
This is really devastating and frustrating plus it's so difficult to move on with out knowing d outcome of the scholarship. I can't invest cash in anything now becos I don't want it to waste if I get d scholarship.. I'm just so tied down, refreshing my mail box every day.

It'[color=#770077][/color]s really unfair ☹️ and our mental health too is important.

I don't think so, and the personnel I contacted was directly from shell not The Offshore Labs.

so this hope is some worth hopeful

Like I said we should, I got to a correspondent by mail on sunday and his reply this morning was that they hope to get to all by this week.

Not the University, rather The offshore Labs

I have a suggestion, happy sunday people

I would be sending a private mail to the correspondent by tomorrow to get an update on the status of our application

I am suggesting everyone does this and then we can share any replies gotten, here.

sending this mail in numbers would bring a sense of urgency and also most importantly help us know our stakes and move on

Lastly if you have contacted them of recent please do well to share the replies.

That's why I said if needed, and yes you can apply for it by putting SPDC as your sponsor, I did and they got back to me after two weeks

A current scholar also applied before getting the scholarship last year.

Yes he said shell got to some new awardees asking them to provide some info in order for them to complete processing their application

I believe thats what @btm9 meant by background checks but didn't provide more details for us

Info I got is dat spdc will contact offshores lab dis week with successful candidates.

I don't think SPDC needs to get back to offshore labs to get back to us, rather they'll get back to us themselves, at least I know last year they got back to my friend themselves.
