Don’t fall victim

wanted to buy data today and remembered I got a broadcast message about data buy and share. so i called the guy and told him i need data. he asked that i sent money first cos he is not the owner of the business and so many people will receive data and won't send him the cash. I told him I'm not like that so i asked for his account number and I transferred 1500 naira.

After 1 hour i didn't get any data. i called and he said it's the network and i should have received a code by now. I asked why the code and he said its what will be used to activate my data. as we were talking on phone the code came in and i just read it out that i just got a code bla bla bla...I ended the call and went to check the text message. that was when i discovered it was a whatsapp verification code. before I could have access to internet and check, he already logged me out of my whatsapp, changed my number on all the group chats to his own business account and sent messages to them that he sells data and all.
