I've been silently following this thread. I benefitted from the study permit thread and also got a lot of information here that helped me in packaging my husband's SOWP application.
This post is to encourage someone out there.
Submitted: December 3, 2019 Route: Paper with upfront medicals Background check: December 8, 2019. The day application was linked online Eligibility review: About a week later Medicals update and BVL: January 8, 2020 Approval: February 12, 2020.

emeify1: What I meant is that refusals sometimes come fast. Delays sometimes means additional reviews which could turn out to higher chances of approvals, though it could also lead to denial. So it matters if yr application is still on background check or eligibility has started too. Clearer? Ya � |
