I doubt if they will increase subscription cost.
I also thought about that too, that is one thing I believe they have complete power over. I heard they are some South American countries that even pays lesser than $43

Update:
Something I forgot to add previously. Aside informing me that my Starlink dishy was experiencing high interference, they also informed me that checks show that there's something wrong with my router configuration (I don't know what this means), indicating that my router and ethernet adapter are needing replacement. So they sent a replacement router and ethernet adapter. However, according to Starlink support, it would not resolve the interference I am experiencing.

Today, I took delivery of the replacement router and ethernet adapter.

Starlink's service delivery can't be compared with our service providers here in Nigeria. If there's an issue with your kit, they will be honest about it, and if need be, replacements would sent, for free.

If you are experiencing challenges and you have done all else to resolve it, feel free to ask them to carry out checks on your kits.
Boss I humbly, I repeat! I humbly ask for the replacement Ethernet dongle. If I can get it I go dance.

Funny set of people. They won't come out to mourn their slain citizens that get killed by terrorist every day. Imagine if this Man's son or Daughter was part of those kidnapped of recent, Nigeria will shake. What's left is to declare a public holiday on his behalf. I hope when they are done mourning they can come back to reality on how Nigeria is slowly turning to Venezuela

Isn't it better to just change our official currency to Dollars and stop this hypocrisy.
For you to know this current government care less about the situation is that they are still charging high importation taxes on food and agricultural items. Abeg where subsidy money go?

If you need something to take around, the Airtel or MTN modem would work. However, if you just want some thing in the house, then go for any fibre ISP's , because they would offer unlimited with decent speed, if you don't have fibre ISP's around you, my brother just Jeje gather money and buy Starlink (it works all over Nigeria) to avoid premium headache.
Kindly note that only Fibre ISP's and Starlink offer true unlimited.
Attached is what I used last month with this month's still reading on Starlink with about 110-150mb/s

Politics / Re: Electricity Supply: Nigeria To Propose Naira Payment For Local Gas. by ibawon(m): 5:57am On Feb 11
You want us to collect our dollar payments in Naira making us feel like the problem, Government still make payments for local goods in dollars and you are saying financial stability. I repeat if you make enough, you should leave this country. The people you voted in know the right thing to do but it does not pay them because of corruption.

Ibawon, this isn't a good advise. As far as I know, once your location or your Starlink hexagonal map reaches capacity, there's no way to change your service address to any address within that hexagonal map, unless outside of it, which doesn't always work.

In fact, the error below is what you will get if you try doing so.
Yes Boss, I meant outside, I changed my address to somewhere in Ogun then back to Lagos after paying for my subscription.
Phones / Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by ibawon(m): 2:15pm On Feb 09
If you have anyone outside Lagos, try using their address to order, then you change to your own address, that's how I sub after canceling though. Just saying

I'm a data analyst. Got a little weekly pay job from an academy in Europe. Surprisingly after 3months of work and weekly payment, My name was flagged by western union on suspicion of fraud (with my pay for February second week cancelled after many hours seating infront of the computer).

It's very appalling and morale draining to be profiled in one's own country. I really wish I could push for a law suit and make them understand not all Nigerians are criminals and seeing us/considering us as one will have consequences.

Has anyone had such terrible experience, how did you handle?
Western Union! Watin do Wise and Deel? Please reach out to them ASAP

chinasaekpere listen to this advice. Don't waste your skills in Nigeria. You will enjoy your skills more outside the country. I repeat work for sometime and find way to get out of this country and explore the world with your skills. I repeat move. Just work for 2-3 years with your current job to gather more experience and japa.

Don't waste this skill in Nigeria. Find your way out after 2-3 years with your current job.
God bless you. Nigeria of today is different from that of 10 years ago, I'll rather spend the next 10 years of my life in a first world country than staying here for the next 10 years with such skills. To even think $10/per hour is even a flex is how much you need to leave this country if you can.
