Good morning guys. Just received the usual automatic payment reminder mail from Starlink now. I’m glad to inform you all they are still charging the old price (38k) for now and I’ve successfully made my payment the manual way instead of waiting for them to deduct it automatically before I go hear say price don change on Starlink portal

Na this update I dey use one eye wait for since. Mine na still 5th, but make we dey look sha as I don keep the 75k (so that would just serve for 2 months)

DrBookie:
Please have you experienced any issue with network. I'm about getting pixel 6 pro from ebay

Yes, like MADD. But later subsided. Nobody suppose Sabi the issues wella. Do it expect 5G on any Pixel device in Nigeria.

yemkoguru:
please if I may ask, have you done anyone sub higher than the 20k? I heard 35k is more stable and true unlimited and more speed?

Not at all. I pay 3k for 20gb on MIFI and I've never bother checking the speed in long time, but I get 40MB steady and I also have 5G in my area. However, it's not so stable.

One hell of a character 🤣

As of today, 1m is around $600, and a lot of companies pay far more than that, especially in Lagos. At the end of the day, nothing pays than being your own Boss.

I swear down that I understand your frustrations, I still have 120GB on my Airtel MIFI for emergencies. I choose them over other networks. However if them won mess up ehn.... If not for Starlink I for see big wahala.

What is wrong is wrong, and thank you for saying it. Unfortunately them get mentors they look up to in that industry, so they are not really to be blamed.

otis54:
Wow that’s huge. I’ve only been able to hit the 1TB mark twice since I started using mine since 2023. That’s the beauty of unlimited data. You will keep downloading until you eventually runout of things to download. These past few months, I hardly go above 800gb before the month runs out

I when I first got it body dey sweet me. Now it's mostly to work and for everyone and my IOT to be connected.

otis54:
Why the silence on this forum?

Oya, let me add that for the first time since February of 2023 I used 2TB on my Starlink. All thanks to Gamepass. However, this month is almost half and we just dey drag feet at less than 500gb

When I asked one citing that fuel is now cheaper and Tfare should drop, he said other components like spare parts and tax levy are not dropping. So we should not expect any fare reductions anytime soon.

$46 x ₦1620 (Today's rate) This was ₦700 this time last year.
Una well done 👍🏽

KemoSabe:
Compliments people.
I'm thinking that's why it's always good to deal directly with world class companies like starlink than third parties.
This dude had a problem with his router cable which starlink was supposed to replace.
When they found out they had run out of V2 cables, they offered to upgrade him to an entire V3 kit for free. lol

Now that NCC has approved the increase in tariff for all telco companies, we should be looking towards January 1st for new starlink price.

No longer stories that lead to head aches. If Na $70 I go pay as far their services deliver always until a better thing comes along.

Orthopaedic mattress are only to be bought at the recommendation of your Doctor. My late Dad's still gathering dust, nobody Gree use am.
