To get a new key is even less than 25k.
The plastic key in Apo is 8k, programming 10k making 18k.

You didn’t tell us if you changed your normal driving pattern/distance for said week ie house to work and back or house to work, visit friends, stuck in traffic, went clubbing etc. that can also affect fuel consumption. I don’t advice you to change engine if nothing is wrong with this one but have the car properly scanned first to determine any faults

Nothing is wrong with the engine, the engine runs smoothly. The car is sweet to drive, I feel so comfortable in it.
Last time I was to fill in fuel, I bought an injector cleaner. That also help in reducing the consumption and I have observed some changes in terms of the consumption.
I have another question please. Do AC also help to increase fuel consumption?

Greetings my people. My c230 sport 2006 V6 consumes a lot of fuel. In a week I spent 6,500 in fueling. Is there anything I can do to reduce this?
Secondly is it possible for me to change the engine to kompressor 4 cylinders? Seriously I can’t be spending anyhow on fuel. Please I need suggestions. Thanks
