Any single man here, hear this and have peace. Avoid deliberate single mothers not those whose husband died but those who became pregnant by sheer stupidity. They are simply time bomb waiting to explode.
In 2018, my cousin, who resides in Germany, tragically lost his wife to cancer, leading him to contemplate a new relationship. Encouraged by one of our aunts, he began dating a single mother from Nigeria in 2021, thinking that at 52, all he needed is a mature partner such as a single mother, widow, or a mature and stable single lady. Unfortunately, this single mother turned out to be overly focused on money and material gain. Her family, especially her mother and younger brother, viewed my cousin as their financial lifeline, demonstrating entitlement and selfishness through constant demands for money and favours. Disheartened by their behaviour, my typically reserved cousin eventually ended the relationship after several warnings. He then found companionship with a 36-year-old unmarried university lecturer in Ekiti State, Nigeria. They married in March 2023, and he has since relocated her to Germany. Recently, he confided in me, revealing that contrary to his previous assumptions about many Nigerian women and their families, especially considering his experience with his former single mother acquaintance, his current wife and her family have never pressured him for money. Instead, they express genuine gratitude whenever he helps them, underscoring the toxicity of his past relationship. Unfortunately, his former partner, the single mother, has been harassing our aunt, who introduced them. She even aggressively confronted me at the front of a bank last week, falsely accusing me and our aunt of advising my cousin against marrying her. I was furious and almost considered involving the police when she threatened me, but my friend and some mature bystanders intervened, and she was eventually escorted off the premises by bank security. It was an embarrassing scene for me. Reflecting on these events, I can't help but wonder about the audacious and self-centered individuals we encounter in today's world. It felt like something out of a Nollywood film to me. She even had the audacity to claim that we drove her "helper" away.
|

I don't know what to say but as a Christian,i know the occupation is evil and there is no one who would be pushed to the wall like Israel has done that wouldn't react violently. Israel should henceforth, stop the occupation...if they must live in peace, they must stop the apartheid policies. |
The last line says it all. It will only take a miracle for any child raised by a woman no to boomerang. Why u come give am belle before wedding now? Like mother, like daughter nothing changes but age! PrayWills: |
Emekayoung:That is why I am different from u. U guys always have limited thinking about everything. It would not take them more 5million to host their personal app. If individuals can host loan applications it is this one that would be hard to do? I once worked in a bank and when I realised how the bank treated her customers,I left and formed a financial cooperative, licenced it and today I know how much I make every month Many Nigerians have been trained to be employees and that is the mentality that has destroyed the brilliant minds of today. We can only become successful if we start owing business, become self employed and invest massively and do less with being an employee. |
portplus:That means u don't know him quite well. |
Keep wailing. The truth is always bitter like batileria. Same estates business is dominated by same tribe. The biggest estate developers in Abuja are Nwaora and Cachez and ukachukwu brothers and Engineer Mbaka of platinum mortgage bank. membranus: |
U are right, how many of them knew about Operation sweet under Marwa in Lagos? This new Lagos lovers will never understand That Tinubu hijacked lagos and not the other way round. PepeXKermit: |
Thank God u have realised ur mistake and turn a new leaf. I remembered in 2019 u told us Bola Tinubu and some others were the people that can perform as president in south west. It takes a healthy man to be a functional president. U see Joe Biden of America,he has never been in and out of the hospital like Tinubu except when he slipped from his bicycle last time. A healthy person deserves to lead a nation like Nigeria All his policies aren't good on the people at all. mideactive: |
Tflex01:No one has the monopoly to decide the destiny of another fellow...not in even u. Do sleep well and continue ur necodemos suffering and smiling. Take away pretence or sentiments, are u living a good life in the administration? I leave u with ur conscience to judge. |
Wasky101:The true sons and daughters of Lagos aren't abusive but those from interior god forsaking states are the bittered fellows. U claimed to be Lagosian yet u have no land, no house and no even ancestral trace to Lagos state. Being a menace is ur only connection to the land. Shame on u. |
Wasky101:Criticize the topic okay and quote where I lied and don't come and embarrassed yourself. I was not taken to Lagos,I was born in Lagos as my grand father had been in lagos and ibadan 50yrs before many of u who migrated to Lagos started the journey. My mum is a pure Lagosian and she still lives in Lagos till this day. |
lapintoz:Life is a journey, that was where I was born. If I had my way,I wouldn't be born in Lagos but America. |
Batists don enter one chance finally. I knew Baba Tinubu with all due respect to him, can never deliver on this mandate. He was never a performer in Lagos,as I witnessed it first hand. For those who would come to shout yen yen yen...among the two former governors that preceeded him,it was obvious he failed during his time and he used propaganda that cannot work on a national scale to deceive the people. Well,I was a secondary student then and i can tell for sure that he was a monumental failure. Additionally, for the records,OBJ never seized the allocation of Lagos while he was the governor, rather Obj stopped the allocation of local govt in the state just like he did in Katsina,Ebonyi,Nasarawa and Niger states at the same time. So,it is only idiots who don't verify facts from fictions that allows his propaganda to take over their senses. In summary, Tinubu is becoming a national embarrassment. As taxing and over-taxing the people will back fire ultimately. In taxation class at the University,we were told that taxes are levied on the people on their ability to pay and not on their inability to pay and this i know for sure and Before I go,tell Yesom Wike that,he should be careful, what I see around him is very bleak. His political future is not rosy at all. He should learn from Amaechi. Good night all. |
Propaganda and ur president ran to France for medicals. I pity those wey no know these guys Tinubu appointed. I remembered when Elrufai once referred to Tunubu as the chief propagandist. |

After minimum wage, many companies would lay off staff. Because u can't pay more u earn as a company. |
If u are not working in this country and u are surviving, honestly u are a strong man. |
Lies...I just bought one now and the price for 12.5kg here in Abuja at Nipco gas station kubwa is #13,250 against what I read on the news outlets last week. |
