It's your turn kind of governance, nobody dare says what's not inline with the plan cos of the fear of being sidelined. Governance and politics is now a cash cow for the elites |

[quote author=Lukuluku69 post=136989321]You know the drill. That figure is not right. Way back I head the Operations of a Branch here in Lagos. Aside me and the Cash Officer, the remaining Front line Officers were Contract Staff. 5 Cashier/Tellers, 2 Customer Service person and 2 Transaction Officer, then 5 IT Students who assist with Note Counting, Photocopier and any other functions as assigned. The Marketing Department is almost the same but slightly better with 4 Bank Employees and 9 Sales Agents who are Contract Staff.[I worked as a banker. I can relate here. There's no fair deal in life. And the means to get what you want is not questioned. If you use your body. If you thief am. Just make sure you are not caught. It is only first bank that publicized any of their staffs caught either mismanaging funds or even diverting funds it happens every where even with the knowledge of the branch managers and the top heads and executive directors giving dead customer's account to ROs or RMs to treat and divert the funds and later share among themselves] |
[quote author=Sonnobax15 post=136934626]Good morning and a happy weekend to every Nairalander out there..... Hope everyone is doing just fine? Just this morning, the sad news about the demise of my neighbor who's an okada rider broke out....A young man who was in his early 30's....He had barely finished balancing the motorcycle which he took on a higher purchase price three weeks ago........And we even drank and celebrated with him when the original particulars of the motorcycle were handed over to him.... This was someone whom we joked and laughed as at yesterday morning before I left for my shop, while he also left for his transport work.... Before now,he spoke about him being fed up with the okada work....And how he planned to leave it anytime soon, but had wanted to open a provision shop for his wife.... Now,the real gist about his whole life was that he left behind 5 kids and a wife......All through the times we spent together as neighbors, he was a very hardworking man whom never relented or gave up on his responsibilities as a man....While most of us who were equally into the transportation business were resting, this guy was always on the road, hustling......... Sometimes, whenever we came across each other on the road, there was a popular Mama-Put joint where we used to usually buy beans and yam,and most times just chill up and gist ,I would joke with him like--"Oga Mike, eat better food , because na you dey work the money". But he would shrug it off, saying he can't, because his family were at home and it won't be nice if he should eat without them.... This guy never wore nice clothes......He lived his entire life solely on how to put food on his family table while neglecting his own self.......There were times when even to buy ordinary paracetamol,he wouldn't buy it, because he believed that money could be used for something else....... Tho we've mourning but I find it quite amusing and confusing on why a man would live his life, being victimized by the responsibilities that falls upon him as a man.... Dear men, please take care of yourself.....Do not fall victims to the pressure that comes along with being a father.....Tho it's comprehensible that as a Father,it's your role to take care of your home.....But you can as well do that without losing your life in the process...... Because when you're gone, the same family whom you were toiling and hustling your asss up just to feed and shelter, they will move on with their lives and just within a matter of time, you'll be forgotten [anybody that ask for help is courageously asking] |

My ordeal started since I was 12 I started repeating ss1 twice that I was asked to withdraw to start ss1 again in another school. I did well there and immediately I entered Uni OAU in 2012. I got to ife. Unserious me was just partying that I had 2 extra years and finished with a pass degree. I was 26 years old as at then. Immediately I got a job in the local government to work as a casual staff earning 17k but I was not contented I found my way to a microfinance and lastly to uba as a dse in 2022. After I worked for a while and got a commercial officer offer in Ucap. I got distracted and had to resign now I'm regretting ever coming to life. please if there's any one I can talk to |
