We can't just agree to this base on your own opinion
MODIFIED!!
For most modern devices with lithium-ion batteries, it's not necessary to fully charge them before the first use.
Why? - *Lithium-ion batteries don't have a "memory effect"* like older nickel-based batteries, which required full discharge cycles to maintain capacity. - *Calibration is not necessary* for lithium-ion batteries; the battery management system will calibrate itself over time.
Best Practice - Charge your device when the battery level falls below 20%, and unplug it when it reaches 80-90% if you're not going to use it for an extended period. - Avoid extreme charge levels (very high or very low) for prolonged periods.
Exceptions - Some devices with nickel-based batteries (older cordless phones, etc.) might benefit from initial full charge and discharge cycles.
In summary, it's a myth that you need to fully charge a modern device before its first use. |

Politics › Re: FG Bans Night Driving For Fuel Tankers by Ibst: 11:04am On May 22, 2025 |
Exactly, I don't why these people don't understand this Osgilliat: I’m so disappointed reading comments of people saying night driving is better for the tank drivers. Sleep deprivation is what is causing majority of the tanker accidents. A driver that doesn’t sleep at night because he was driving all night, the same driver won’t sleep during the day because he is trying to get to his destination before night fall. Not only will such driver be dozing while driving, such driver won’t be able to take good decisions when driving. That’s why majority of the tanker drivers behaves like animal while driving. Sleep deprivation causes alot of problems for drivers. |

May be the reason is to stop the truck drivers from depriving themselves of sleep, which is also a major cause of accidents during the days. I just hope the Enforcers enforce with caution to avoid more disasters. |
