A DJ in Uganda named, Jerry Okirwoth was allegedly killed by party-goers for playing bad or boring music.
The incident took place last week at a dance club in Nebbi District, Northern Uganda, where Jerry Okirwoth, a part time DJ and student at Parombo Secondary School in Uganda, was DJing. A mob of revelers at the venue suddenly became angry with Okirwoth, apparently because he was not playing their favorite songs. Later, Okirwoth was allegedly killed by the mob in the venue.

A beggar who was caught raping a woman in the middle of the street after she stopped to help him has claimed that he did it because she wanted it.
James Campbell, 31, who lived with his mother in Paisley, Renfrewshire, admitted the attack which took place in Glasgow on August 16 last year.
He was begging in Glasgow when his victim stopped to check on him and try to help. The 57-year-old woman had noticed he was not wearing a top although it was cold and raining. She asked him if he was alright and chatted with him for about 10 minutes. Campbell then followed her and refused to go away.

The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has suspended elections into the boards of State Football Associations in the country.

Arising from an emergency meeting held on 26th January 2019 to deliberate on important issues in Nigerian Football, the NFF Excos resolved in a communique against the backdrop of the nationwide elections taking place between February and March 2019, the Executive Committee resolved that the current electoral processes in the Local Councils and States be suspended immediately....

Federal Government is expected to hold another emergency meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Monday 26th of November, 2018 in a bid to end the ongoing strike in public universities.
The last meeting between the two parties took place on November 15. Despite the meeting lasting for six hours, the strike was not called off because no agreement was reached.
