forbaj: I spoke with a representative of Griffith overseeing international applicants from Africa and he informed me that they are having the same frustrations as applicants as the embassies are not communicating with them directly (Institutions in general) on the status of their applicants based on GDPR. I called to gain clarity on deferment as the deadline is drawing close and I have a sibling who's currently awaiting a visa decision. I asked if the current visa application needs to be withdrawn to make a fresh application in the case of deferment, or if the applicant can send the deferment letter to the embassy as an update to their existing application so they don't lose their place on the 'queue' , but again, there was no clarity on this even for them as they have not gotten an update from the ministry of justice which oversees visa applications regarding this question. Resuming online while awaiting a visa decision was also ruled out completely (This used to be allowed by some schools in the past) as the institutions had received a new directive from immigration to not allow registration before visas are issued as there had been complexities in the past where people were denied visas after registering. He informed me that the school will issue communication to applicants by the end of the week who are yet to receive their visas and advise on the way forward but at the moment there are a lot of things in the grey regarding how the visa process would unfold with admission deferral. I also applied to Griffith i hope they come up with a bearable solution this visa decision is frustrating |

I’m sorry guys but it’s over unless you are starting again next year for September batch
January and February batch u guys should start your application latest October ending cause this people will likely want to delay you i feel like they do this to generate revenue from visa fees
If you are at maximum capacity then close the embassy not string people along for their money and time
They wouldn’t dare to do this in advance country but as Nigeria foreign ministers dey spineless anything goes |

foxyplantain: Registering doesn’t require a visa, but beware that if you register you might not be able to get a refund of your fees, you can defer though Can you explain this whole defer process is it like starting afresh |

0xJRD: So far, it's only about 3 people that shared they have gotten a decision for this September intake, going through the thread. The delay is general, everyone's complaining, even Indians. I'm guessing the application for this intake was a lottt So how do you explain the sudden list reduction cause they use to release 2-3 majorly how come we are barely have 2list if the application is so much |
