Just learnt from a source that two students (a male and female) of federal Poly Nekede Owerri, lost their lives as they sustained gun shot wounds from a police officer in pursuit of a bus driver conveying students to their school.

Pls can anyone on ground confirm the story??

I went to Ama Hausa this xmas season to buy some mint 100 NAIRA notes, but they told me that there are no more mint 100 NAIRA notes.

Reason: that CBN wants to turn it into polymer, so they not minting new ones.

I went round, but kept getting the same reply.

Can this actually be true?

Maybe he told them, he would cancel their names from APC.... So they knelt begging, not knowing that APC is a time bomb!

This morning as i was heading to work, i noticed that every bank in Owerri, the capital of Imo State seems to be locked and customers stood outside the bank premises looking disappointed and stranded.

As i inquired, i was made to understand that banks in Imo State have not been paying their tax as required by the State Government. This was uncovered by the Imo State Board of Internal Revenue.

The Government has now mandated every bank operating in Imo to pay their taxes or face sanctions.

I think, this was what led to the ongoing strike.

It is no news that today, 3rd of December 2013 will be the last day of grace for the striking Lectures either to go back to classroom or face sack by tomorrow 4th December 2013 as announced by the Federal Government.

So am asking our Great Nigerian University Undergraduates all over the country, what is the situation in your Institution?

Please rate the performance of your local State TV station.

I am aware that there are some people that still watch their local TV stations like me, due to one thing or the other like not having constant power supply thus making it needless to purchase cable TV. My own local station is Orient TV Owerri, believe me, it's a torn in the flesh.

Should i talk about their frequent " on and off " air transmission or poor quality programmes they dish out?

I think it's time our local State TV stations sit up and plug all these lapses in their station or be sanctioned by appropriate authorities.

10. Have shekau killed

But come to think of it,if a person does not believe in the holy Book, be it the Bible or Koran how then can the person know how not to contravene God's law.

Believe it or not, there are laws governing the earth both natural and super natural.

In Christianity the death of Jesus Christ brought salvation unto mankind,thus bringing every true Christian under grace.

To my understanding,i think non Christains need to keep all the laws of God without contravening any to make Heaven,which is impossible.

While Christians only need to confess and forsake their sins to continue abiding under grace. That's what i feel that makes the difference.

I still stand to be further enlightened.

This topic has been going on in my mind for some time now and i will welcome your candid view.

Christains use the holy bible as their guideline,why moslems use the Koran. The atheists don't believe in any,so they say there's no God.

I don't know much about other religion and what they believe in, but i know one thing! After death judgement follows. Heaven or hell awaits every living soul depending on your lifestyle on planet earth.

Am only conversant with the bible and some passages clearly states that if you don't believe in Jesus Christ and be born again that you won't see the kingdom of God!

So my question is? What is the faith of non christains that might never have the chance of believing in Jesus Christ,talkless of being born again,even though they lived a good life here on earth.

MTN family and friends expanded, is a prepaid plan that allows customers to register up to 10 family and friends numbers that includes 8 MTN numbers,an international number and 1 local number.

Calls to these registered numbers are made at a lower rate,around 10k/s .

I noticed recently that either the plan is no longer effective or the charges are now higher.
