mariposa01: Usually I place my darts 7 to 8 inches apart if for a skirt. If it's a blouse, I try to place it under the bust so it would be about 7-9 inches depending on the measurements. For me it's usually 7 inches. So on the fold it would be 3.5 to 4.5 inches. Always try to place your darts under the bust because it enhances it and also shapes the waist.
Hope this helps Thanks for the info. |

bimbam: @iclass:
I think she might have used either 4" or made the curve come back out to 4.5" (if the client has a belly). The most the waist can be is 4.5" (because that's what her initial fabric on fold was). Right now, she is only showing the centre "panel" of the blouse. There are 2 side panels that will complete the remainder of the blouse front
HTH Thanks a lot now i understand. |

kemesty: The dress has three blocks -the main body of dress -the peplum which is at the base and of course -the sleeves This is a way of introduction to make learning easier and understanding simple. We are starting with the main body of the dress. Please post pics of your fabrics, take measurements and let's roll. Done! |

arakulture: Note..after cutting 1 fold Ur fabric to cut the 2nd and place Ur pattern clockwise to manage fabric. Cut out 5pcs the same size if u are putting if zip at the back....add 2inches or 1.5 allowance by positioning Ur pattern forward and cut.
Pics not uploading yet well done arakulture! could you pleasde post a pix of how to place the pattern clockwise to manage fabric? |

i purchased the elephone and doogee from Eghosa1, Here is my review:
The phones are really beautiful slim and sleek, the resolution is also good, camera on point and it came with a screen guard, earpiece, otg cable and an extra battery with a leather pouch. im really impressed with the phones. its worth every penny.
About Eghosa1, all i can say is that the customer service was very good, and his logistics agent too was very polite and courteous, he delivered the phones on time( as early as 9:00am) and took 500 for delivery to ikeja. i ll definately use Eghosa next time, he was friendly, answered all the questions i had and was very polite. i was a bit skeptical at first sending money to a complete stranger but he assured me he will deliver and he did. God bless your hustle bro! |

I bought three phones from thespecialone last week and i got it a week after i paid. the phones are original and the accessories were intact. customer care wasnt that fantastic because i had to make several phone calls between Sunday( when it landed in Lagos and Tuesday when i received it. i finally went to computer village on Tuesday to get it from the logistics guy. @thespecialone please improve your logistics/dispatch in Lagos. God bless your hustle! for those thinking about the doogee 310 i ll say its a great phone for the price. its slim and beautiful. the display is also very good, i didnt expect it to be that good. camera is just ok but not fantastic( i only tested in a room that was not well lit. I didn't get the chance to test it outside. |
