SantaMafia: MUMUgerian caught with 8 human tonguesA country where native doctors, witches and wizards are celebrated... ![]() Primitive burnt charcoals! ![]() gaynaian flying wizard crash lands at kasoa ![]() IT HAS finally been established that the suspected wizard, who reportedly crash-landed on the banks of River Okrudu at Kaimebre, a settlement near Kasoa in the Central Region last Wednesday morning, is a mental patient. The man, according to the police, was receiving treatment at Pantang Hospital but disappeared last Monday from the health facility. Checks by the police at the hospital revealed that the patient, who is called Charles Allottey, was admitted to the mental hospital 12 years ago. The Kasoa District Police Commander Superintendent Samuel Tabil Punobyin told DAILY GUIDE that authorities at the Pantang Hospital called for the patient after reading the story in Thursday, 28 November 2013 issue of the DAILY GUIDE. The commander said the victim was manhandled by some residents who claimed he was a wizard because he had some puffy flesh on the breast that looked like a female breast. “The man could not even talk well whenever he was asked a question by the police.” Victim has since been transported to the Pantang Hospital to continue his medical treatment. The suspected wizard looked frail, pale bore protruding breasts like a teenage girl. His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng who claimed they found him crying for help. The two brothers told DAILY GUIDE that the suspected wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of friends, including a medical doctor en route to Cape Coast for a meeting when he was forced down while flying over a church where an allnight vigil was being held. “When we asked him where he was coming from, the man told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting for witches and wizards” he said. Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his chest were breasts taken from his 16- year-old granddaughter and that he normally borrowed them for his night activities. The two brothers said, not knowing what to do with the suspected wizard, they took him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help. After the announcement on radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises of the radio station to catch a glimpse of the suspected wizard. Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being lynched. |

SantaMafia:Another delusional scavenger from the thick forest of akara. ![]() So you wanna delude your filthy self about gaynaians enjoying electricity? Gaynaians still in darkness Darkness comes early in Ghana, as it does in many African countries. For 500 million Africans without electricity, for children doing homework or adults conducting business, the only light comes from kerosene lamps or candles. Both of these pose dangers from fire or fumes. Our new lighting products could make a positive change by lighting up lives in Ghana. Light for everyone Frank O. Atta-Owusu, the KITE Manager responsible for this project, explains: “We believe that everybody in Ghana should have light. Yet while 54-56% of Ghana’s populations do have access to electricity, most don’t have a connection to their homes. In addition, 80% of the population of in rural areas – millions of people – has no electricity at all. This is why we are so excited about the SESA project and the Philips sustainable lighting products.” My Reading Light These new products include a Portable Lantern that provides bright white light, a Dynamo Multi LED self-powered (wind-up) flashlight that provides 17 minutes of light after two minutes of hand winding, and a solar-powered reading light – with a built-in rechargeable battery – called ‘My Reading Light’. Developed specifically for the education sector in Africa, it will allow a new generation of school children to continue with their homework after sunset. Improving lives The products are all part of our drive to improve people’s lives. We’re not only committed to making affordable, high-quality, energy-efficient lighting, but also to making it available to areas where it is most needed. And that’s what our new LED-based, solar lighting products are intended to do. “These new lights are far more efficient than similar products on the market,” continues Frank O. Atta-Owusu, “and they will certainly make people’s lives better by improving health and safety, and assisting in education and economic activities at night. Even grid-connected homes can benefit, because Ghana’s electricity grid is currently very unreliable.” A noble effort He explains that the initial target is quite low: a realistic 14,000 lanterns, for example, in the first two years. The limitation is price, but an expected payback of 3-6 months will mitigate this. In addition, users of these lighting products will no longer need to buy kerosene. And as they all have a very low carbon footprint, they will also benefit the environment. “Philips low-cost sustainable lighting products are very good,” he concludes. “And if we pull together in this noble effort that aims to address multi-faceted issues in health and safety, economic activities and children’s education, then we – together with our local/national partners (Deng, Philips, New Energy, SNV and World Vision International), will have done an excellent job. We can only succeed.” A small country like gayna can't produce enough electricity watts to power half of the country neither can they feed themselves. A country where 50% of its budget comes from donor. ![]() POVERTY AT ITS PEAK. |

Ashantiking: It's that the best you can come up with. You are a sad case.Another poverty stricken asylum seeker! ![]() gayna world cup fans seek asylum in brazil Hundreds of Ghanaians who went to Brazil to watch their team play in the World Cup seek asylum on religious grounds. Hundreds of Ghanaian Muslims who entered Brazil as tourists for the World Cup have asked for asylum on religious grounds, police have said. Noerci da Silva Melo, a federal police officer in the southern city of Caxias do Sul, said on Friday that 200 Ghanaians had asked for asylum after entering Brazil legally to watch their team play in Natal, Fortaleza and Brasilia. Melo said the Ghanaians were Muslims who were "fleeing the violent conflicts between different Muslim groups". The justice ministry would decide whether to grant their requests, he added. Vanessa Perini Moojen, of the Roman Catholic Church's Migrant Support Centre, said the Ghanaians "faced life-threatening situations back home" and "feel they can find work and better living conditions in Brazil". The centre provided temporary shelter for the Ghanaians at the city's seminary and helped them prepare their asylum requests. Claim rejected Ghana rejected the fans claims with Deputy Information Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu saying he was surprised that they had raised the issue of religious conflict as the reason they wanted asylum. "It is one of the most peaceful and stable countries in the world. There is no religious conflict of any nature in Ghana," he told Reuters news agency. "The Brazilian embassy in Ghana issued 90-day visas to thousands of Ghanaians. If they fail to comply with the terms of those visas we expect that the Brazilian authorities would enforce their laws," he said. Ghana finished last in its group, losing to the US and Portugal, and drawing with Germany. |
Due to poverty gaynaians are renouncing their nationality. Do something, Ghanaians are suffering - Yvonne Nelson tells Prez Mahama Beautiful Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has called on President John Mahama to take steps to improve the plight of "suffering" Ghanaians. In a blunt tweet Friday afternoon, Yvonne asked the President via his handle, @JDMahama, to "do something" because Ghanaians were "suffering". Yvonne made a vague reference to the recent hike in recent utility tariffs, implying that Ghanaians were struggling to cope with the new tariffs. “Mr President. Ghanaians are suffering. The people of Ghana are SUFFERING. #fuel #electricity #water plsdosomething! Thank you,” the actress tweeted. "God save us!!! Help our land" More gaynaians renounce their nationality honestly, poverty is bad!!!Many Ghanaians are now renouncing their nationality to become citizens of other countries due to economic reasons, Mr Kwesi Ahwoi, Minister of the Interior, announced on Monday. He said in all, a total number of 817 applications were received and approved from Ghanaians in 2013 to enable them to change their nationalities. Out of the number, 367 were males and 450 were female Ghanaians, who took nationality in Germany (538), Netherlands (233), Norway (32), Denmark (7), Austria (5), Hong Kong (1) and China (1), Mr Ahwoi said this at the-meet-the-press series in Accra. Elaborating further on the issue, Mr David Agorsor, Director in Charge of Migration Unit of the Ministry said majority of the applicants were health professionals, especially doctors and nurses, who had their passports taken from them and returned to the Passport office on completion of the process. He explained that, such people renounced their Ghanaian nationality because they are mostly offered job opportunities in those countries which do not recognize dual citizenship. Mr Agorsor, who described the situation as very alarming, however said such people could regain their Ghanaian citizenship if they renounce the foreign one later. “The rate at which Ghanaians are naturalizing as Germans is alarming. Almost every week, people come over to naturalise as Germans unlike in previous times-when they go seeking for greener pastures”. Meanwhile, Mr Ahwoi said 39 foreigners applied to naturalize as Ghanaians, and that 29 of them had been approved and the remaining 10 being outstanding. Of these, 17 people were Lebanese, five Indians, one each from Nigeria, Korea, Egypt, America, Britain and Liberia. The Interior Minister gave an overview about work being done within the 10 agencies of the Sector Ministry, made up of the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Service, Ghana Immigration Service, and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO). The rest are the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB), Ghana Refugee Board, Gaming Commission, National Commission on Small Arms and the National Peace Council. Mr Ahwoi said all the agencies would collaborate and work to provide a safe and secure environment where social economic activities would thrive within the confines of the law to enable Ghana to enhance her status as a middle income country to achieve higher growth and development. He said many of the laws governing the agencies were obsolete and that, they are being amended at various stages to bring them up to date. He said a new migration policy, a private security organisations regulations, a locksmiths activities regulations as well as a service charter had been designed while the NADMO Bill had been approved by Cabinet. A cabinet memorandum on a loan facility to procure logistics for security agencies is also being worked on, and that, when that is approved, the agencies would be provided with the needed logistics for effective operations. |

Just like Kwaben Adjei called Y'all lazy bums that are only good at criticizing the government, offering little or no help to the growth of the country's economy. ![]() Gaynaians are lazy - Adjei Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Kwabena Adjei says Ghanaians are lazy because they always sit on radio criticizing government without doing any work to support the country’s economy. He says Ghanaians spend six days in the week on radio for commentary and rest on the seventh day, which is unacceptable. Dr. Adjei was speaking at the launch of the US$2million Amir Complex, a modern shopping mall at Kisseiman in West Legon. He argued that if the owners of the new shopping mall had chosen to lazy about talking on radio for six days in a week, the mall would not have been a reality. “This should be a strong message to Ghanaians that there’s no free lunch in today’s world because every body’s contribution makes the country wealthy,” the NDC Chairman stressed. Dr. Adjei is therefore urging Ghanaians to engage in something advantageous and desist from continuous radio and television commentary. Meanwhile, the Director of “Amir Complex”, Stanley Tanor said the mall will support economic growth by contributing to government’s effort at creating jobs. Tanor noted that the new mall will bring products and service close to people within Kisseiman and West Legon catchment area and ease the pressure on other malls in Accra. |
otumfour:Delusional dumbo!! Gaynaians enjoy clean water? Perhaps in your dreams. Sanitation crisis in gayna Water.org is working in two rural areas in Ghana: Volta Region around Lake Volta and Upper East Region, which borders Burkina Faso and Togo. Both districts are remote and poor, with less than half of the population unable to access safe water and very few families with access to improved sanitation. The rural areas suffer from many waterborne diseases, including diarrhea. Water.org and partner organizations work with communities to construct wells, latrines and biosand filters in Ghana as well as to provide health and hygiene education. More than 80 percent of people in Ghana have access to safe water, but only 13 percent of people have access to improved sanitation. Dependency on unsafe water sources is higher in rural areas. Due to drinking contaminated water, diarrheal disease is the third most commonly reported illness at health centers across the country and 25 percent of all deaths in children under the age of five are attributed to diarrhea. In addition to lack of sanitation infrastructure, some cultural beliefs and views encourage people in rural areas not to use latrines. With our local partners, Water.org is educating and encouraging people to use latrines through community-led sanitation initiatives. |
