Entry into mexico with a uk or schengen visa is more like a gamble. There a so many horror stories of people sent back at poe including pregnent women. I guess you are one of the lucky ones.

You can go back for your pr, your entry should be easier this time, Thou I would advice you travel with your mexican child along with his/her mexican passport .

Been a while since i have been here. So i did make it to mexico and with my uk visa but I was held at the airport for more than 6hours before we were let in.
Please has anyone gone back to apply for PR in mexico, I just tried to apply for a PR visa through the mexican embassy and the consulate officer said i can’t apply for that kind of visa if my child is currently living in nigeria and not in Mexico and that is very inconsistent with what is in their website.
I have a Schengen and UK visa and can go for tourism but i just wanted to have an easier entry this time.

Hello people, do you know if having invitation letter increases one's chance of getting tourist visa approved. I applied and interviewed...was rejected no reason given. I want to reapply and schedule interview for march, maybe with an invitation letter this time.

Invitation letter makes little difference in my opinion. Just package your application properly.

I was at the US emabssy today for my B1/B2 application for tourist purpose. I got the visa!!!!!!!!!! I do not know the validity yet untill i get my apssport back.
My tips, be confident, pray and do not speak too much when not asked it will look rehearsed. Please, dress properly, it matters a lot. dress how you want to be addressed.

Arrive early and be done with everything on time. ALL THE BEST!!!!!

The Brazilian embassy does not seem to have a uniform processing time. They treat some applications within weeks while some take months.
How long since you submitted . and do you have travel history.

In my situation, they requested that I send them through pdf format only 3 months statement of account, flight and hotel reservation. I just finished sending or forwarding it to them through email. I have sent them this same documents prior.

My question is: why do they always ask us to send them, for the same documents that they already have in their possession or that was originally sent to them prior?

I will be very grateful for the answer to my question because I am just curious.

Its still one year but you are now expected to get into the country within 3 months of approval.

Thanks for your response. Does that mean the visa can’t be used if the travel date is more than 3 months from the date of approval. Even though the validity says one year.

Use your salary account simply for salaries

This January let there be a balance of ₦5m plus in the account as opening balance

Then throughout February, don't let any other money enter that account, look for another account to receive other deposit. Spend only ₦700,000 in entire 27 days of February.

Then collect February salary and in March, spend only 700,000 and don't let any other money enter that account.

Do these until July ending, then apply in August, 2025

Submitted at VFS on 8th this month

VFS confirmed application at embassy on 11th

Additional document requested via email on 19th

submitted additional docs on 20th

And today 25th, I was called to pick up my passport at VFS

Visa approved for 10 days single entry..

There seem to be a lot more denials with the E-visa. For now, I think the vsf physical submission is the way to go.

Please experienced S.A travellers. Has anyone used paid Airbnb booking at the point of entry. Ive heard about their immigration been strict about paying for hotels before stamping you in. I want to know if an airbnb booking will suffice. Thanks
