You can apply in any Waec office. Your application will then be sent to the Headquarter for correction. If u get to the office and anyone of the officials tells u that it can't be corrected, do not mind such official. Most of them don't even know whats going on in the headquarter. They usually sy that out of ignorance. Apply then wait. U can still try and get their contacts too to contact them after applying

The correction can not be done in any waec office in the state u wrote ur waec. The correction will be done in the Head quarter of Waec. It is a long process o cuz u will spend o.

Have u done ur online clearance? Have u uploaded ur documents? If no is ur answer pls just sworn an affidavit with the date of birth in ur waec and claim that date as ur date of birth so that in ur online clearance u will upload that affidavit of declaration of age u sworn that match with the Date of Birth in ur waec.. This will help u alot from the hustle of spending and applying to waec office for correction and it does take long process. I have even heard someone who applied up to 3 consecutive times to waec to correct his date of birth before they finally corrected it. And he spent alot of money during that period. Follow my quote to Godwin post. I explained everything there.

Have u collected the Original? If waec have not yet prepared d original then it will be easy. Start applying now to Waec to get it corrected. Those that have already collected their original waec certificates are the ones that will have delay cuz that simply means they will be given another original certificates after the correction. U should have just sworn an affidavit to match with that 1994 . U could have just use the age in ur waec and declare an affidavit for it before doing ur online clearance and uploading ur documents but that was then. You didn't realise it on time and the mistake had been made and would be corrected. That could have prevented u from going to jamb office for correction which does not seems as an easy task. If perhaps u did what I have just explained now all u would have done is to fill Uniben correction form to correct the one in ur uniben data profile to match with the one in ur waec. So many people made this mistake which could have been easily avoided. If I were the one immediately I notice dat my date of birth in my waec is different frm the one in jamb or uniben profile ,I wil simply sworn an affidavit with the date of birth in my waec so that I won't be going to waec for any correction. The only correction that would have been done will be the one in uniben data base. As easy as that.

But as it is now start applying to waec without delay. However, be calm. Nothing is impossible. The only impossible things are the things that are not in existence.

According to one of the representatives from the office of the Registrar, u will only be given 6 months to correct ur wrong WAEC date of birth.

This could have been avoided if u declared affidavit of declaration of age to match with the age in ur waec. This is what most people failed to know.To go to WAEC Office to get ur date of birth corrected no be Beans o.
And Uniben only give such victims 6 months to do that or else admission will be withdrawn in ur 300level (source Registrar). But if anyone having such issue is wise enough to just declare affidavit of declararion of age to coincise with the age found in the waec the stress of going to Waec office to correct waec date of birth would have been avoided. Wether thats ur real date of birth or not u were only doing it to avoid the stress or prevent ur admission frm being withdrawn as the 6 months given to u to make such correction could elaps within the twinkle of an eyes

i didn't even knw about it till recently, and cleared with my online printout and statement of result. It's just by one year. Instead of 1994, 1995 was written. I'm dead.

Bros we are not fighting OK? I said there's nothing like uncleared, if later they discover that something is wrong with the documents you submitted or uploaded, you will be contacted through your dept and asked to go to ICT and request to be logged out in order to rectify the problem. My friend and class mate had a similar problem last session and that was what he was asked to do. You will only have serious problem if you scaled Uniben perimeter fence into the school and not through main gate, that's if you understand what I mean.
