Here is a tribute written on behalf of EX-May 2000 set..

18 years ago, we all came together in the jungle,
To begin a journey in pursuit of our various dreams,
Of becoming someone in life.
We stayed together for six years,
Having to endure all the thorough drills we were made to undergo.

We stayed together as one big family.
We ate together and drank together,
We cut the grasses together and swept the floors together,
We walked to classes together and walked back to the hostel together,
We laughed together and we cried together,
6 years later, we cried together more.
This was because we had to part,
In order for us to pursue the dreams we've always had,
Which was to become someone in life,
And also attain greater heights in life.
We thought that might be the last time we would see each other,
And this thought made us cry even harder.

But fate eventually brought us all back together several years later,
After we had achieved something in life.
We looked back to remember those years in the jungle,
And we could not help it
As it brought smiles to our various faces.
Life continued and we all remained happy,
Because we still stayed together as one.

We celebrated with each other.
We shared in each other's joy,and also in each other's pain.
There were memorable days we could never forget.
Days which we partied and had lots of moments of fun and joy with each other.

Saturday 18th of August 2012 was one of such days.
The day would remain a memorable one,
In the history of Ex-May 2000.
Four people among us got married that day,
And Mojisola Abefe, you were one of them.
Our joy knew no bounds on this day.
But little did we know,
That this joy will soon be cut short.

On the 3rd day of October 2012,
Birthday wishes poured in for you from all angles.
People wished you a happy birthday,
With long life and prosperity in good health and abundance.
Only for us to receive the shocking news of your demise,
In the evening of the same day.
If these wishes were to have been granted,
Mojisola, you would still have lived a hundred years more.
But who are we to question the Almighty God.

He has taken you home when it pleased him the most.
The kind of peace human beings can't fathom,
Is what you are enjoying right now.
Peace beyond our understanding,
Is what the most high has finally granted unto you.

Your radiant face, we get to see no more,
Your lovely smile has ceased to beam for ever,
Your wonderful voice, we cease to hear again.
Like a candle in the wind, you have finally gone.
Soaring high between the arms of the angels,
To your final resting place you have made your journey.
Your mission in this world is finally accomplished.
Even though life was snuffed out of you at a very tender age,
We take solace in the fact that
You have been granted eternal rest,
Which your soul has long desired.
If money could have been given in exchange for your soul,
We would have emptied our pockets and given all we had.
But it is God only who knows what is best for you.

You will be greatly missed dear one.
The entire Ex-May 2000 home and abroad will miss you dearly.
Your memories will forever remain with us.

Your dear husband,
With whom you have just tied the knot a couple of weeks ago,
Will forever miss you.
And the entire family and friends you left behind will miss you dearly.

Sleep on beloved.
Till we meet at the new Jerusalem,
Where the land is shiny and beautiful,
Where everywhere glitters as gold,
Where the saints are gathered,
And the angels singing Halleluyah.
Where there is no pain,
Where there is no sorrow.
Where you will forever enjoy the peace the lord your God has finally granted you.
Till we meet to part no more.
