I smell conspiracy here...hmm

To me every country/tribe have their own version of God stories. The God in the bible to me is contradictory; eg, thou shall not kill. In the same bible someone with the spirit of Lord upon him vow to sacrifice anything that first come out of his house when he return from war. And the first thing that came to welcome him was his daughter. According to that story, the young girl was sacrifice to the so called God of Israel. The question now is that is justifiable to kill that young girl all in the name of vow? Why is that that God cannot make it something like any animal should be the first thing to come out from the man's house when he returned from war?
