pweetyz: Some of unilag's first batch admitees are done wiv both school nd departmental clearance while uniben is yet to start..i think the idea of separating the clearance is a good one as it makes the site more accessible nd the clearance venue less crowded..someone should please suggest this to the ogas @ d top

I HV once being a student in an higher institution ...BT a fresher in uniben second degree in #optometry#

bythe tym one myt hV left school (higher institution) patience wud b a prominent character in one's life! patience starts from wen you wrote jamb u had to wait at least 24hrs after exam, no mata hw smart u r bouh using PCs u jez HV to wait until the result is uploaded. followed by pume palava! damn it! the registration alone took a lot of patience and cleverness, uploading the right thing at the right time,waiting for the admission list...reloading and reloading kofa page,lol...clearance ain't here yet PATIENTLY WAITING!!!...u den HV to que at the bank to make several payments, u HV to be patient again wen u get to the hostel especially wen u hv an 8 o'clock lecture and a long que is there to fetch water.......of all is u hv to wait for at least 4yrs before u collect a page (cert.) out of DAT school..chaie see PATIENCE

Alikaxon: Hm... It has been stressed over and over again that you guys are resuming by January, 2nd week precisely. So when you resume, physical clearance begins immediately. You may start your online clearance by "December". Please if you have any issue with your documents, just voice it out now to avoid a "stressful clearance". I mean a very stressful one, like STRESSFUL. Hm! Don't panic tho, you'll always overcome it, 'cos people has.

So those things that "will" give you problem(s) are:

1 Abbreviated names/inconsistency; i.e all your documents does not correspond with the same name, and also "spellings".

2 Age related problems i.e all your documents doesn't tally with the same age.

3 Wrong passport background... Hmmm, I was a victim of this, but God saved us that the senate pardoned us, otherwise; I would be preparing to take the next JAMB now (some body say "God forbid". Ermm, I don't know if they will pardon again this time around.

4 Insufficient O'level result... This is a case where you don't have or you didn't credit one or two of the required O'level subject for your course; you might be relocated, that is, if relocateable

Nuel01: if u got ur O'level last yr or dis yr, no certificate yet. But if u are 2 or 3yrs older dan ur O'level result, pls go to ur skol n collect ur O'level certificate because dey MUST ask u during ur physical clearance. So to avoid double travelling, collect all necessary document b4 coming 2 skol 4 clearance.

Nuel01: dont worry u wil fil in correction form n get ur eligibility 3wks 2 exam. If ur date of birth is dif in ur jamb result,O'LEVEL result or birth certificate. Be ready 2 forfeit admsn.

optometry's case in uniben is a unique and complicated one. When u get in, you would see for yourself.
It's a very good course nonetheless.
