As a follow up, i called the officer at exactly 1.46pm and we spoke for some minutes. His facts affirmed what Bro Mangojuice told us yesterday regarding the release of the cadet training list.
The officer started by saying that they have already prepared a template which indicates that we are expected to commence training on the 19th of November, 2016 as the foreign counterparts from other africa nations have arrived since two weeks ago and have almost completed their interview which is similar to the interview we did in august, 2016. Therefore, he said going by the prepared timetable the list should be released any moment from now in the dailies.
Finally, he said they are highly expecting us as they are done with the preparation and we are to be trained alongside with the foreign counterparts. Thanks

SSC means Short Service Combatant while dssc mean direct short service corps. Check the meaning of Combatant pls. Let's not be confusing these two pls. They're different arms designed to solve different problems. Abeg make we die the matter. doctors (dssc) go to war (front line) to treat injured soldiers. Even when u r be shielded when it gets hot u will defend ur selves while the Lawyers will end up as mp( military police). the psychologist help troubled soldiers and so on. Do u see how important dssc is? u don't joke with da Lieutenant. From day one SSC dn dy salute una.

Kindly check online, dssc means direct short service commission while ssc means short service commission. Just a means or route of joining the commission or army. Thanks

The reason why SSC will be close to the regular is because they are trained to have the power of command. That is they can become commandant in a division or a barracks but dssc cannot. SSC are trained for war and to lead men. don't worry datigbogirl u go only hold gun for jaji after that na see u go dy see as others they hold am unless there's a major threat that's when u will be given one and only if am not there to take care of it. I got ur back deary..winkz.

I would strongly advice u to go for automation because as a mechanical guy u can always find your feet and read up as at when necessary. I just complete the program and it was a lovely n an eye opener. If u 've the means avail myself the program
