We are saying the same thing, idk why so many people think iPhone owners are "wasting" their money.

Because most of them don't even know why they got the phone in the first place, either cus of follow follow (isheep) or cus of ego... Especially ladies. Chai, na dem worse pass... And na ladies use iPhone pass... grin

Still don't get what you are driving at, some people can conveniently afford it. Is that a luxury to them too if that is what they really desire?

Some ppl can conveniently afford Bugatti,.. But we both know it's a luxurious car... Why? Cus no one actually uses it to race... undecided

. Though is what they desire but we both know Bugatti is luxury, wether i can afford it or not, even of its free sef... Bugatti is still a luxury statement.

lollllllllll, these people buy their phone on contract. Na we dey gather money to buy phone for here now. Was actually speaking with someone who told me their father just told all of them they would be changing their phones to iphoneXR because he apparently got a very nice offer from T-Mobile. Na we dey take am big deal cos of the state of our economy.

Contract or no contract... 1000$ is = 1000$...being under contract doesn't make it lesser bro... Or do you seriously think the price is not debated overseas... Tim Cook was interviewed about the prices in a talk show recently... And just so u know, not everyone overseas get their phones on contract.... wink

This one na naija mentality, afaik luxury is relative. What may not be important to you, might be important to me.

Oga... It's not naija mentality, everyone knows Lamborghini is expensive, u think the price is naija issue?... I laff... 1000$=1000$...naija or not, and it's not beans cake... Otherwise, ask dangote to give everyone 350k, u will know naira has value... grin

In as much as am not a fan of iPhone, I wouldn't call it a "luxury good". We are different, so are our needs/wants. The way you think buying a phone of 70/100k is not too much, some people would frown at that amount and say it's damn too much and it goes on and on.

No it's not, ppl make it a luxury good. It's like hummer jeep dat year, it was suv for protection, but ppl turned into luxury cus of the cost, likewise gwagon... U get the gist wink
