Gptech:
This should be the most repeated question here. Only difference is that Global Version has band 20 while Global rom don't have that. It's important only if you intend using SMILE 4G, might be useful too if you are located in an area covered by a small fraction of MTN 4G coverage.

For redmi note 5, i think it's more than that . Can you please delve deeper, thanks.....

emysilva:
xiaomi users, pls whats the difference between global rom and global version?

Global rom is a rom, just like the Chinese rom. It can be flashed into any specific model and it's variants(redmi note 5), each model and variant comes has Chinese, global, and developer rom. It is downloadable. Global version as the name implies is meant for global usage, multiple languages, everything in English language, from the labels to the manuals... For hardware differences, lte may differ slightly.

Me I just have one question. Why is nobody buying the Redmi 6pro in this forum?. Everybody is going for the much older Redmi Note 5. I am asking this question because I want to get the Redmi 6pro and no single user or information about it in this place!

..
Because the note 5 is using a modern chipset snapdragon 636 while the redmi 6 pro has the hated notch and the older outdated 625....that's why we dey run from am.... cry

I have the redmi note 5 ai global version 64gb 4gb on ground. 70k. 070three1080two87
