Telz@Yu know ui is always sincere with adm process but yu know most people are nt satisfied with this ssce principle their using because it favours mostly those that do runs .Now it as been cofirmed that ui will be righting cbt postume(UI cbt postume is likely to commence mid august for both 1st and second choice that scored 200 in ume).cbt exam is to screen out numerous number of applicant and to prove the 5 A's yu are bringing.According to jamb Over 80,000 choose ui as it 1st and 2nd (indirectly we are writing another ume).This info am giving, hv confirmed frm people but yu can still confirm also because the senate of ui has the right decide whatever adm screening process they want to use. pls the only constant thing in life is change.so let wait till next week for the official press release frm ui.

Unconfirmed and rumours in ui states that ui will be conducting computer based test postume  ,after which each dept will set cut off marks and later shortlist sucessful candidates for interview.And finally their ssce and ume will be graded 50%-50% respectively  instead of the original 60- 40 used last year.

Is the normal Direct entry form for 200 level.

The truth is unilorin is one of the most useless universities in nigeria as concerns admission process,(1) I suggest yu have a geniue insider who is willing to help (2)runs yur postume exam so that yu can score 100%(3)study hard as if every thing depends on studying&and pray very hard like a madt prophet as if everthing depends on prayer . (4)don't put yur heart 100% on the admission and also have an alternative.(5)N.BIf yu score 50% does nt mean yu will be given adm,those that score 20%,35% in postume, yu see their names in 1st list.for those that choose ilorin as 2nd choice yu need the mercy of god to be admitted.am nt discouraging anybody because with God all things are possible but be ready for hypertension frm unilorin,that just the truth the truth is bitter.all the best

Hello,pls Is lasu still having engineering courses because nuc disaccerdiated their engineering courses some time ago and jamb also refused candidates frm picking them in this ume 2011.

Cont'd concerning locality and elds as concerns u.i admission,after those that qualified on merit has been pick, the next cutoff marks that would be set are locality&elds.so to pick locality for a particular state in a department- any student that didn't meet the merit cutoff but scores the highest mark frm his or her state automatically get admitted to that department e.g let say I choose medcine & the merit cutoff is 74 and locality cutoff is 60 also my personal point is 70 & am frm lagos if am the highest frm lagos I will automatically get admitted even without meeting the merit cutoff but if another person frm lagos scores 70.5 that person gets admitted.the same process goes for elds(PLS N.B CATCHMENT AND ELDS STATES IN A PARTICULAR DEPARTMENT-THOSE CANDIDATES THAT SCORED THE HIGHEST MARKS FRM THOSE STATES AUTOMATICALLY GET ADMITTED)
