Cont'd concerning locality and elds as concerns u.i admission,after those that qualified on merit has been pick, the next cutoff marks that would be set are locality&elds.so to pick locality for a particular state in a department- any student that didn't meet the merit cutoff but scores the highest mark frm his or her state automatically get admitted to that department e.g let say I choose medcine & the merit cutoff is 74 and locality cutoff is 60 also my personal point is 70 & am frm lagos if am the highest frm lagos I will automatically get admitted even without meeting the merit cutoff but if another person frm lagos scores 70.5 that person gets admitted.the same process goes for elds(PLS N.B CATCHMENT AND ELDS STATES IN A PARTICULAR DEPARTMENT-THOSE CANDIDATES THAT SCORED THE HIGHEST MARKS FRM THOSE STATES AUTOMATICALLY GET ADMITTED)

Telz@Hmm,transfer to universities is not beans in nigeria,most universities try to discourage it,only on genuie medical ground yu might be allowed.2ndly the university yu applied to might nt accept yur request if yu don't hv a strong insider in the school senate,even though yur request is granted yu might be asked to start again afresh in their sch i.e 100l or yu might be given another course lower than the course yu where studying in yur previous school.

The telz@yu know yu are combining two results that means 6 subjects, so yur subject grading will be different from those using 5 subjects at a sitting.so now the subect grading yu stated above is for those for 1 sitting (5 subjects)and yurs is the one I stated earier.what yur ume score?

NOW TO GET YOUR POINTS,FIRSTLY YOU DIVIDE YUR UTME SCORE BY 10(PLS NOTE THAT UME IS EQUAL TO 40%),SECONDLY YOUR BEST FIVE O LEVEL RESULT AT A SITTING OR 6 AT 2 SITTING SSCE OR NECO AS THE FOLLOWING GRADES.A1 =12,B2=10,B3=8,C4=6,C5=4.C6=2. SUM ALL TOGETHER IT MUST BE EQUAL TO 60%(PLS NOTE YUR BEST FIVE OR SIX MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE COURSE YU APPLIED FOR AS STATED IN JAMB BROUCHE OR U.I WEBSITE.FINALLY SUM EVERY THING TOGETHER IT BE EQUAL TO 100%I.E IF I HAD 300 IN UME DIVIDED BY 10 =30 AND 5 A I N SSCE THAT 12 MULTIPLY BY 5 EQUAL=60 OVER ALL =90

Economics,electrical/electronics ,medicine tops the list of the most competitive departments at ui with cutoff marks 74.9,74.7,74.5 respectively as at last year.

For all those asking for their fate am also an admission seeker like you,but i suggest yu grade yur result and compare with cutoff of previous years.

Before the end of next week,i will upload the necessary cutoff marks of the last three years of all departments.

UI prospectives how was yur ume?nobody can guarantee yu admission into UI, only yu yourself and yur God.
