What is the +8 mins additional time for?

Even commentators voiced out there concerns on such time added, when it was obvious the game didn't observe delays as such.

Commentators are not match official....them hold mancity players leg as the match restart ? What exactly is your excuse....the injury time wasted period should not be added back...? Anyways match is over ..nothing me and you can do to change the outcome

hi,

Please, I hope it is not challenging to pay for both visa fee and ihs using gtb dollar card. or there any bank that is better than gtb to do the transaction

Gtb dollar card is okay.....uba prepaid card is another better and easier option ....but prepaid card is not like the full Dom account ...it has a limit of 2500$ per day and you cant withdraw any excess dollar, u can only buy with it ...and you can only... fund it through dollar cash deposit or if you have a uba Dom account only.....but very easy to get....just enter any uba with your valid IDcard, utility bill and 5$ , you can get it even if you don't have a naira account with Uba ....

Dapotemi and everybody has been saying the same thing but in different ways I guess, dapotemi believes driving full time doesn’t worth it but still has its benefits while doing it part time with a full time salary job, which is true but to me if the full time jobs pays to one’s satisfaction which one can gather money from to pursue one’s dreams, pearl, cheerful and others believes driving full time pays better and one can gather money from it to pursue the dreams we all have in terms of maybe creating a business for one’s self or na to japa but feels we can hardly get a full time salary job that can gives us these.

I don't module myself with what pays or not...everyone life different and one person can't use his own template to advice anyone...my response on the conversation....was the getting a skill part...when he asked what can someone who has no education do....

If you drive full time and it works for you...Good for you.....if you drive part time and it works for you ...Good for you ....

Learning a skill is global advice anyone can key into...as it can open to your door of opportunity.

Wrong on the bolded above.

Not up to a year ago the UK was still advertising for drivers to come from overseas to fill up their shortages after their brexit palava. If you didn't see such adds I'm sure others did.

Now you could come up with a technicality that it was strictly truck & trailer drivers that were needed but the fact forever remains that driving is a skill period.

And we have truck and trailer drivers here I guess.....

And who said driving is not a skill....I was only pointing you to the economics of demand and supply when it comes to skills...even some educational given certificate demand is low compared to others....

The bottom line is what dapotemi advised is very useful and yet you were still looking for a hole...

Makes sense, he should learn a skill like carpentry, welding, painting etc

Oh yeah, I just remembered that driving is also a skill wink

A carpenter, welder, painter can be shortlisted in shortage skill list of countries like Canada, UK and Australia...I have never seen a driver listed....you understand what that guy meant....make Una dey try understand peoples point...than always countering it....some skills are over supplied and driving is one of the over supplied skill..... A carpenter can hit a jackpot of contract from government, that goes to a welder or painter.....

From N740 to N830 as at today at black market. It will soon climb to N900. Demand is very high at the moment.

Bro you are a seller not a buyer....you can only sell to aboki and they won't buy from you at prevailing market rate....I didn't say it won't surge, it will and we in the surge period ...very soon those high demand caused by student who needs it for one payment or other will subdue by end of August and mid September....let's talk about the rate again ....your bought at 750...as at today you can only sell at 800, or 790...aboki will want to make profit and will only buy less than the BM rate.....your investment make sense and will make more sense when you sell during the peak surge period.....just don't sleep on it....ensure you sell when it will give you great return.

Good day, it's been 17 days after application was received by DMC without a response. What do I do next? Do I just keep waiting?

You can opt for a paid call....to know if your application as been decided or not ......visit the ukvi web for how to initiate one..... In addition you can visit the bank you used as financial evidence, to inquiry if they got a verification mail from ukvi and if they have responded to it ..

Please I'm starting POF for my wife, and had inquired from a contact at Globus Bank. Please, would the bank be good to use for POF? Would it be accepted by UKVI?

Globus bank is CBn approved ....so it's acceptable by Ukvi and their response is swift as well.....

Lolz I guess you no be Engineering student that's why or studying a STEM Course that's why. Pls which University in UK particularly less than 18,000 thousand pounds excluding survival money for the year which is 10,000 pounds . You used 5M cos I know you had to source balance from other sources to complete the cost implication. If you know the current price of flight ticket alone you no go follow me argue .
I don't know why you arguing sef I too had plans to travel sold part of my property
I raised up to 15M from the sales of the property and another source I had done my calculation I needed 14M to travel to Uk then one week later Tinubu implemented this his useless policy I felt so bad I was regretting selling part of my property I asked myself should I sell more of my property to raise the money to 24-28M then I now ask myself it's not worth it. Currently am looking to buy a land so that money doesn't keep depreciating imagine putting my money in access bank and I got 40k interest when Dem lie give me for bank say na 6percent monthly . You used 5M not that the total cost implication was 5m
Maybe you should open that punch newspaper and see someone lamenting that he was doing PhD for 24M with this current policy it is costing him 40M

Like a said earlier the only cheapest school in UK where tuition is 10,000 pounds is teeside university and Sheffield hallam university

If I want to use 5M to get there I know how to do it but no be say person go reach there start to they suffer because he has to start paying debts

Try to understand my arguments here am not saying 5M can't get you there . I'm saying the total cost implication is not 5M in reality

Bro you lack information....I wish you all the best in your current knowledge...this is Uber thread
..no need to they prolong issue....

I wonder where una dey get una information say 5M go do for Uk. Abeg read this today article on punch newspaper many students abroad are already complaining of the new policy it's affecting both students abroad and prospective students. They are all crying many have dropped out of school currently I swear cos they can't fulfil their obligation of paying the outstanding fees. Read where students dey complain say initially he needed about 14M but with this new policy he needs over #24M . I usually pity all those Nigerians wey dey fall scam to agents wey go tell them say with 5M person go fit Japa to Uk or canada or USA abeg it's not possible except na through another route not masters
STEM courses fee courses no be childs play even Normal course sef dey cost

I am in the UK as a student....with 5m ..you will be in the UK....2.5m plus for every additional dependant travelling with you ...I did it all myself from school application - visa application and all....I am not telling you what I read, I am telling you what I did..

If you fee balance is 6k pounds....naira devaluation didn't increase or decrease it....it only affected them because they are trying to pay it through naira back home (using formA) you earn in pounds and can afford to pay it directly through pounds....you fee no increase or decrease...what government did was remove the subsidy (formA) and it's affecting everyone not just student in the UK....abeg talk another thing

So you think say is Japa is easy for the poor now to go UK now you' need minimum of #28Million naira Canada #17Million USa and Australia na die sef. The only cheapest good country I know na is Germany which would cost #11M but language barrier they and they have backlog so if you start Germany process e go take almost 2years (18Months) before person fit enter. Tinubu don finish this country with his bad policies wey no dey even help the Naira . Japa na for the rich now with the floating of the naira. Except na stupid countries like Italy, Malta or Spain person wan Japa to

With 5m you can japa to UK...no let them lie for you....the student route is still open, though new regulations is starting out Jan 24...all those 28m story na wash.....

If any father/potential father on this thread can come out and say "I wish and my prayer is that my child(ren) will be a driver" then, I will know your submissions are genuine and you have truly conquered low self esteem. Can we be REAL for once on this thread?

If I can drive and feed my child and family, and not engaged in any illegal thing...then why should I be ashamed of what is making me fulfilling my responsibility as a man...abeg make we dey try analyse things well...so because I want to tell my child that I am an office person ..I shoukd sit at home and start applying for jobs and when non is forth coming ..who will take the responsibility of my family survival as a man ....Uber driving is a cash cow...and what you do with the cash flow at the end of the day is what matters....make I no even talk about jobs Nigerians do in the UK, USA or Canada...

Have you asked anyone doing the job and they tell you they don't have their own future plans or ideas to divert into....is anyone offering anybody loan in this country, is anyone picking money on the floor....

There is dignity in legit labour.... ask some of the riders to show you their account statement and compare it with the little in yours and you will understand that a book should never be judged by its covers....

When in Nigeria we see some jobs as odd jobs...but change country...those jobs become normal to you....the problem is not the job, the problem is your understanding of survival..
