So far, that's the best software I have seen for 4950, I know because I have used it and verified a lot before coming to that conclusion, for one thing, is the only patch that supports dongle, azsky I went through hell trying to get this patch!!!!

the best software for str 4950 is v3.16 not 20 because with v13.16 you can not only edit the biss but you can also edit the frequency symbol rate and both vertical and horizontal and even the channel name the moment you click edit i love this any line you choose

Qsat(s) is not full HD receiver compared with good quality receivers!
why will you prefer receivers that boost signal meter reading only..they are not good for tracking!new strong receivers meter readings and tuners are less sensitive/ poor compared to old ones...which are more sensitive with low meter reading compared with new models strong!Qsat meter is not good either! Qsat 23g can boost a weak signal upto on sq meter upto 98% which may drop to below 40% or so on old strong receiver!that will be misleading with qsat!However you should look at picture quality and stability not meter readings...lol..

If you track a satellite signal with a good sat finder..you will never go back to receivers..a good sat finder can lock a fec:3/4 tp with as low as 20% SQ and with a sensitive tuner! this will give more room for adjusting weak satellite signals! Now you see what I mean..lol

Pls is an mpeg2 sat finder a good sat finder? can it track all sats?

I use a qsat q23g...it hasn't bin encouraging for quite a while now...yesterday I went tru this forum and got a qlu which I tried..i.e I have bin using my mtn sim and I only get max and NtAi to watch...I tried glo sim with data instead of airtime as stated in the forum but no channel is coming up...I sent an email to hugmanling@gmail.com buh didn't get a reply...pls what is it am doing wrong as regards my decoder...

hello ify4ing: dis tin do my 4950H afta I don upgrade d firmware (successfully). I nially run loko. c Wetin wey u go do:
1. put on d decoda.
2. arts d logo come on no allow lines to show, press standby button on d decoda.
3. if d tin go on standby, press d standby button again. d decoder go come on normally.
4. use remote to put am on standby.
5. put am off from behind.
6. boot am on from behind.
7. press standby button on remote to putam on.
na all dat. if e no work. hmm e mean say tori Don badje.

plug it,on it again from d back,and after it is power on then press power key from d front panel it will come back to normal. Feed us back if it works

change ur pol to H and if its still red then u hv to realign ur dish a bit usind these tps 12520H30000 or 11294H45000
