222Martins: Just as God opened the eyes of Elisha's servant to see the chariots of fire, i just wish God can open the eyes of many to see the opportunities in Nigeria. Countries such as China, South Africa, U.S.A, U.k, etc are scrambling to invest in Nigeria,.....while our youths are scheming on ways to run abroad for greener pastures. We need a change of mindset. I made my first $10,000 in Nigeria,......and i will make my first $1,000,000,000 in Nigeria. May God help us all....I want to knw more abt u sir, hw u overcame ur challenges etc my email is ify4king@ yahoo.com |
In 1979, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba) and 33 years after he is today the Chairman of the ruling Party, The PDP; Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State (now Sokoto, Kebbi & Zamfara) and 33 years after he is today Minister of Defence; Major General David Mark (rtd) was the military governor of Niger State in 1984 and 28 years after he is today the Senate President; Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger State in 1976 and 36 years after he is today the Governor of Adamawa State; Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of Abia State in 1992 and 20 years after he is today the National Chairman of ANPP; Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State in 1985 and 27 years after he is today the governor of plateau state; and Martins Elechi the Ebonyi State Governor is over 80 years old! Only in Nigeria is this possible, where the youth of today have no hope into the future! Where do we go from here? People Deceive People (PDP), 1985, IBB was the president of Nigeria and our teachers told us that Buhari was the former Head of state..Our teacher also called us the leaders of tomorrow..27 years later, IBB and Buhari are still contesting for President..Its either our teacher lied to us about being the leaders of tomorrow..Or tomorrow is yet to come.. Who's fooling who?. Let's stand and fight for our right cos we ar d leaders of Today... Pls let all youths alliance together and fight for the unborn. We can't continue like this. Pass it to everyone if u believe in the NIGERIA DREAM. THANK U ALL. |
tchaik: Nice Topic! Though most of us are not trained/certified security experts, we at least, are sure of one thing: WHOEVER IS SPONSORING BOKO HARAM HAS MONEY TO SPEND; LOTS OF IT! Moreso, the person(s) has grouse with Nigerian Government! (Serious grouse). I can comfortably bet a year's pay cheque that such a person/persons didn't make the money in an honest endeavour!right on point! |
I reserve my comment! |
justmuhd: I'm a muslim myself and a strong one at that.I feel very very displeased by the current happenings that took the lives of a lot of christains.I must acknowledge the fact that the Christians have been very patient with the mislead and derailed boko haram who claim to be muslims.they bring a very bad image to islam.Islam doesn't teach you to kill innocent people!islam doesn't permit murder in the name of religion!islam preaches peace and all that is good.I know some might choose to defer but I can't say I blame you. its a push way too much which has forced the Christians to the wall. but we have been living in peace for years now let's not let "boko haram"destroy the unity which we have had for centuries. Boko haram are not muslims!they are simply misled, confused and Damned people who don't know their right from left.a true muslim would never do such.killin innocent people in their place of worship?!no no no no!!! May the souls of the lost lives rest in peace.amen...Religion of peace indeed, y re churches always dia target? Wat not mosque? If truely u condem dia act, talk to ur northern leaders to call dem to order cos am sure dey knw dia sponsors. |
slam7000: HAS IS IT GOT AIR BAG?Is dis English or french? |
rman: Apparaently, everyone hates MTN in Nigeria but the realty on ground is they are the market leader and are still growing. In fact they added more than a million subscribers last year which is second only to Etisalat. Everytime I see threads about MTN and DSTV on nairaland, it is all hate, hate and hate from forum members. Unless nairaland is not a partial reflection of the Nigerian reality, and if it is, WHO ARE THOSE ON MTN NIGERIA'S NETWORK?I think with the trend etisalat is moving, they will soon overtake MTN and besides most MTN subscribers jst have dia sim for recieving of calls only(I inclusive). I was of d opinion dat Mtn was d best but I now realise hw wrong I was. Etisalat rocks! |
