Good morning house. I got an approval 3 days ago and I submitted my passport for stamping two days ago. It is for Study Permit. I want to know if it is compulsory to book return flight ticket for study permit holders in Canada. Can I go ahead with just a one-way ticket please? It's urgent as airfares are increasing as September approaches. Any input from our seniors and experienced Students here would be highly appreciated

@AbelAbdul are we supposed to book return ticket or one-way ticket could suffice for Study Permit applicants

my Passport movement long oooh, like 2 weeks or more self as my visa was issued at RROC, not Lagos... Although my approval was fast but passport movement was slow

Good morning @AbelAbdul... Also Congratulations on your study permit. Please when exaxctly was your Medicals sent to IRCC? Also how do we know that it has been sent? Would we be sent an email that it has been sent or our application status will just be updated? I'm becoming a bit apprehensive because I did mine on the of 12th of June and up till now, I haven't seen any update

When I applied, I used flywire to pay my acceptance deposit. I used CIBC to pa my tuition.
I could not wait for the school to issue me a receipt since it involves extra charges.

What I did;
I included the confirmation email from flywire and CIBC and used them instead.

I will advise you do up front medical because it the result takes within 10 business days to be sent to IRCC.

Where is that boy that said that IRCC does not accept bank statement of acct from remote gigs like PayPal and co, that it must be only commercial bank acct statements? Pls tell him that info is false. I submitted PayPal statement even submitted Opay bank statement and got my study permit approved.
