Please if i want to consider top civil servant what would the avidavit contain? Do the top civil servant has properties, money or what? I believe you know proof of funds means money to cover your tuition and living expenses in US? What would the sworn affidavit from the top civil servant contain?

I don't know about visa all i have been saying was gotten from Mr OyotunjiUSA. U can ask him. I 'm tryin 2 know a little about the process too in case of mine next year n the re application 4 my sister . According 2 him pruf of funds can be in many forms in which court afidafit is part . Cheers.

Hi. I just heard dat you can use sworn affidavit of support from court and dat declaration must come from SAN only or some top levels of civil servants in Nigeria 'n that's if you don't have hope of bank statement at all.
Plz don't do fake bank statement bcoz the US embassy will confirm it according to Mr OyotunjiUSA. There is a new ways embassy now verifies with code on their computer 🤔

Visa officers most time do not ask you to provide a bank statement. I am not in anyway insinuating that they cannot ask or they don’t ask.

Use your I 20 and evidence of ur sevis payment to book for emergency appointment inside ur cgi portal. The embassy shud grant u date n someone said u should book for emergency appointment 60 days b4 ur sch resumes.

My sis was interviewed in Lagos but wants to reapply in abj now. U can try Abuja if u re willing to travel. Cheers

I believe there's an option of premium processing (by submitting form I-907) for form I-539. Note that premium processing costs additional $1,965.

Of course they are not gonna post that on their website. Nigeria student approval rate is very low. They adjust their criteria based on country. Are you saying all those students being denied do not meet student visa requirements?

Funding and low cost of attendance help a lot because getting a very good scholarship or assistantship is one of the biggest proofs of your brilliance as a student. Of course you have to meet other requirements as well.

Like the other guy also said, I'm not saying it's impossible without good funding. But that helps a lot.

Of course there are cases of students getting their visa approved without funding. But if you have been following this thread for a while, you should recognize the general trend in visa interviews: good funding and low cost of attendance = higher approval rate.

Phd fundings is the most relevant to the US Consulate 'n despite dat majority of them still gets visa denial if they cannot meet other visa requirements.

Majority of institutions esp private re spoiling the relevant of fundings because they gave it out unnecessary in order to attract int-students n US consulates re aware.

Do ya wanna hear ? The US consulates now based your student prowess and rate u as an outstanding student thru ur waec, transcripts and cgpa. Consulate does not trust gre, gmat, toefl and fundings again because they re being compromised.

Re' u telling us that the US Consulate is forcing fundings on all student visa applicants ? Your ability to cover the tuition deficit is the major interest of the consular. Once you or ur sponsor is able to display evidence of money to pay your 1st year tuition and the embassy can verify that u should not have any issue with ur visa.

That man Oyotunjiusa with few others hia have corroborated same facts. PhD prospective students re' those who actually have to agitate for fundings because they need absolute focus on their study n they have very little hours to work outside study. Undergraduates n msc applicants whose sponsor can display enough tuition funds does not need fundings n infact most int- student application usually ask if you need scholarship or not. Cheers.
