Nigerian singer and song writer Inetimi Alfred Odon, aka Timaya, founder of South South hip hop group Dem Mama Soldiers just revealed on Instagram that he has signed a new act to his record label DMRecords (Dem Mama Records).

King Perryy was revealed as Timaya's newly signed artist today on Instagram.

Timaya posted a photo of the newly signed act and wrote;

The Lagos state government has reportedly filed a lawsuit against singer Davido and comedian , AY Makun, for tax evasion. A report by Punch says the entertainers have had a long-running battle with the Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) over alleged tax evasion. Davido was reportedly charged before a Lagos high court in July 2017 while AY was said to have been charged to court in 2016 for failing to file his tax returns.

Davido is said to have told LIRS officials that he pays his taxes to Osun state government since he is an indigene of the state while AY said he makes his tax payments to Ondo state. An official of the state government who spoke on the matter said

“Remember that Davido said he made N500m from his N30bn concert recently. We must know how much he paid to the LIRS. AY too said the same thing. The comedian claimed to be paying his taxes to Ondo State, where he hails from. It seems these celebrities don’t understand that the tax law stipulates that you must pay your tax to your state of residence. Anyway, we are already in court. Others will soon appear in court if they don’t obey the state tax law. You can’t be making money in Lagos and refuse to pay tax.”

However, for 2018, Zuckerberg is challenging himself to do better at his day job. He's said his personal challenge for 2018 is working to prevent Facebook from being misused in ways that potentially do harm to its billions of users and to society at large.

"The world feels anxious and divided, and Facebook has a lot of work to do whether it's protecting our community from abuse and hate, defending against interference by nation states, or making sure that time spent on Facebook is time well spent.

My personal challenge for 2018 is to focus on fixing these important issues.

A stunning student has been strangled to death and her naked body wrapped in clingfilm after she applied for a job as a governess with “model looks”.

The 19-year-old was missing for two days before her body was discovered in a forest.

Kristina Prikhodko had been sexually attacked, say police , who have arrested two men, both aged 28, on suspicion of murder. They warned about men using advertisements to lure young women for sex under false pretences .

It is known that Kristina had posted revealing pictures of herself and was this year registered on a site where women can meet “sugar daddies” .

One theory was that the men intended to use her in an “erotic photoshoot”, according to local reports. Her naked body was wrapped in clingfilm and put inside a zip-up bag which was found on snow-covered ground dumped close to a reservoir on the River Ob near Novosibirsk city,The Siberian Times reports. Two men who a car in which the body was transported were later arrested on suspicion of murder.

The men, who have not been named, were today being quizzed over the alleged sexual attack and murder. The student only applied for the job on December 21 and police believe the advert was in reality placed by men seeking sexual services.

She went to a house outside the city for an interview, as instructed. Her father reported her missing the same day when she failed to return home from her university.

A massive search by police and volunteers was launched resulting in her body being found two days later, reported The Siberian Times. Kristina is believed to have argued recently with her father who said she should behave in a more ‘modest’ way.



On the day she vanished, her phone was live until 8pm but she did not pick up calls. In the light of the case, police urged young women to beware of advertisements for cleaning or domestic help which, in reality, are placed by men seeking sex.

It emerged that police stopped the car used to dump her remains and officers saw the zip-up bag containing her body in the boot. But at this point the two men drove off and escaped from police.

Later, after the body was dumped, police stopped the car again. This time the driver was detained but the other man fled. He was later caught by police.

Both have been remanded in custody. Kristina’s death attracted a huge response on social media.

A driver to the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Jerry Ojugbeli, was killed on Thursday by Canon shots to herald the entry of dignitaries at the Ndokwa West PDP Local Government Council election campaign flag off rally at Kwale.

Eyewitnesses reveal that the incident occurred as the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and other dignitaries arrived Kwale stadium, venue for the rally.

Narrating further, a source stated that when the canon was fired, it flew straight towards the deceased at a close range and hit him badly, adding that the crowd’s attention was already at the stadium, so help did not come on time and he died before he could be rushed to he hospital.

“This is very strange because the canon when fired normally enters the ground, but sadly this particular one flew like a rocket through the car shattering glasses and hit Ojugbeli and also injured two others close to the canon shots.

Because people were already seated and the rally started, he was not attended to promptly, considering the degree of injuries he sustained, maybe he would have survived, but help came a bit too late”, the source noted.

Nevertheless, the rally went on as schedule, but when the news of his death filtered into the venue, the rally was brought to close. Governor Okowa expressed sadness over the untimely death of Ojugbeli.

A man, Everisto Gwekwerere, got the shock of his life after finding his wife naked in another man’s bedroom on his arrival.

Gwekwerere was dragged to the Mwenezi Civil Court by his wife, Sharai Nyanisi, who was seeking a protection order.

In her application concerning the case which happened in Zimbabwe, Nyanisi told the court that although she was no longer interested in living with Gwekwerere, he was still pursuing her wherever she went.

On his part, Gwekwerere told the court that his long-time wife was ashamed of returning home because he caught her stark-naked with another man. He told the court that upon his return from South Africa where he works, he was alerted that his wife was in an extra-marital affair with another man.

“We have been married for 17 years and we are blessed with four children. “When I returned from work, my wife requested to go to his parents’ place of residence.

So, I gave her the permission; but I was later tipped that she had, instead, gone to Laxson’s place at Mwenezana Estates cottages.

“Since I know the place, I went straight to Laxson’s house and got in, uninvited. “I found my wife and Laxson naked in the same blankets.

I just ordered them to get dressed so that we could negotiate peacefully; but my wife immediately fled soon after getting dressed,” said Gwekwerere.

He claimed that he pursued Nyanisi simply because he was worried about her safety following the embarrassing incident. Nyanisi, who did not dispute Gwekwerere’s version of events, said she was no longer interested in Gwekwerere and did not want him to interfere in her personal life.

Magistrate Honest Musiiwa took time to counsel the two and later granted Nyanisi the protection order. He ordered Gwekwerere not to visit Nyanisi at her new place of residence and to refrain from any form of violence.

A 22-year-old Ghanaian prostitute, Queen Farcadi has revealed how much she rakes in from her line of business.

During her interview with Berla Mundi on the “Late Afternoon Show” on a Ghanaian Tv she disclosed how much she earns from engaging in prostitution.

Speaking on the show, Farcadi who runs a premium snapchat disclosed to Berla Mundi that she makes GH¢30,000 a month from the prostitution business, thus GH¢10,000 offline and GH¢20,000 online which is the equivalent of 2.3 Million Naira.

She further added that she does not feel ashamed of what does but rather feels very comfortable since she does not need to commit murder or do drugs in other to make money.

“So far as I’m not doing drugs and I’m using my body to make money, I don’t care,” Queen Farcadi said.

Queen Farcadi is a mother of one who makes a lot of money from her premium snap-chat account, and has over 50, 000 followers on Instagram.
