If you had to choose between generating funds and charity you'd not think twice before following the Governor's footsteps. A State Central Park will generate revenue for the State upon completion, while an opposition Party Governor who chooses to sink money in a FG owned project can only expect to be owed for a long time. Governance is not about disbursing funds and handing out treats like the Gov is a dark Santa, the State will go broke before long. cool
We will never put money in any federal road unless it runs through the city center

The collapsed Enugu Markudi expressway = Left
The Enugu/makurdi old road, fairly okay = middle
Enugu Nsukka road perfectly good = Right

That is not Enugu Nsukka road. That Enug/Markurdi expressway. Opi to 9thmile section. Enugu Nsukka road is perfect condition. No single porthole. It's barricaded so trailers can't use it

Plz and plz, let's always be reasonable in everything. Everyone, especially Enugu people suffer from the bad state of that Enugu Makurdi road. Stop making it look like we are not feeling it. Let's all join hands to press the govt to fix the road. It will do all of us gud.

When the road was good, do you know the economic advantage of that road to those people leaving around it.

Let's stop all these supremacy fight between the south easterners and other region. It doesn't help us.

Our roads are bad, and our people are suffering from it, no matter what you say online, it won't change the situation.
Nobody remembers that the road still exists in Enugu state except truck drivers. The new road is the new frontier of development. Even the popular maduka university is sited along the new road and estates are springing up everywhere
There are three roads connecting Enugu and Nsukka. Apart from the dilapidated expressway there are two other good roads

The economy is seriously bleeds. Many companies are leaving by 2024 . Decisions to leave can be attributed to anything. Shoprite left GSK left ,Dunlop, all left. They left for Smaller
Several multinational companies have left Nigeria in recent years, citing a variety of reasons including economic instability, security concerns, and government policies. Here are some of the most notable examples:

Procter & Gamble (P&G): The American consumer goods giant closed its manufacturing plant in Agbara, Ogun State, citing "changing market conditions" and "a need to consolidate operations."

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK): The British pharmaceutical company announced in 2023 that it would be ceasing all operations in Nigeria, transitioning to a third-party distribution model. GSK cited "increasing competition from local companies and imports" as well as "a challenging business environment" as reasons for its departure.

Mufex: The Nigerian textile manufacturer closed down its operations , citing "rising costs" and "competition from imported goods."

Framan Industries: The Nigerian food processing company closed down its operations ,blaming "a lack of infrastructure" and "government policies that made it difficult to do business."

Meanwhile indigenous companies keep waxing stronger in the East. The yoruba economic illiterates will learn the hard way. While Soludo is training youths and giving them start up capital, sanwo olu and Abiodun are gallivanting around looking for "investors"

For yoruba people who don't normally travel. Sullivan chime tore a virgin forest with bulldozer and build brand new road from Opi Nsukka to Abakpa in Enugu city and barricaded it. Therefore only trailers and tankers and big vehicles suffer on the expressway. Before you comment try to be familiar with the topic

The collapsed expressway is called Enugu Markudi expressway not Enugu Nsukka road

It's a shame that Enugu/Markurdi expressway collapsed completely under Fashola, they now follow inner roads built by Enugu state government to connect Abuja but we refused to allow abooki trucks. Let them suffer what their brother Buhari caused

Smh. If you devote half the energy you transduced into negative insolence and arrogance online to acquiring real education, you will not just state that FDI is not part of capital importation.
There's serious danger in your life if you don't understand something and you form that you know and still go on to insult those who can help enlighten you. I have forgiven you because you are clearly ignorant about what capital importation means. Read please

Capital Importation can be divided into three main investment types: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Portfolio Investment and Other Investments, each comprising various sub-categories.

Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka said technology is creating new generations of illiterates in Nigerian society.

“However, as a new, tyrannical, insolent, and abusive culture, the culture of submental humanity in our midst, which you can give the rough name of the new Internet culture, in which real creativity is being downgraded, even despised for cheap, populist, nasty, subversive, humanly subversive culture.”

FreeStuffsNG:
Here's one of those realities naysayers will struggle to comprehend because they have been focused on their negativity for too long.
Same period they were lamenting, others were bringing in billions into Nigeria to take advantage of business opportunities.

The man interviewed was so confused that instead of requesting to see the data,he was misleading himself, he has doing theory for so long that he forgot that Economics is social science and manufacturing is practical science.

If you have been following the capital market, that data should not surprise you. An Ibadan-based company that has been moribund for years recieved about $12m in that same quarter and the sovereign foreign investor organisation even promised to bring more funds to support more businesses in some sectors it listed. That particular foreign investor invests in companies with problems but when revived and turned around have the capacity to employ a large number of people.

The Federal government, state government and all those individuals/organisations that made this possible deserve the applaud , thank you for investing in Nigeria.

We need more investments and I urge investors to invest in Nigeria, bring your investments to Lagos and the neighbouring South West states for great returns on investment and the best investor friendly experience.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

And adekunle's journey in the war ended in aba , he almost ran mad out of frustration he wanted to take , aba owerri and umuahia at once before October 1 so that it will be celebrated on Nigerian independent day , he lost almost 6 thousand soldiers in that battle at once including commander SHADE a Tiv man who had about 20 thousand Tiv soldiers under him , the Tiv soldiers made up half of the 40 thousand troops that were under the 3th Marin battalion which adekunle was in charge , the Tiv soldiers protested and were unwilling to fight again , after that incident gowon called him back to Lagos replacing him with obasanjo
Yoruba people don't know this. They only make noise with civilian casualties. They should ask their elders for the scores on millitary casualties on both sides
