Badagry people are not Yorubas and they have their separate language known as Ogu. The Yorubas call them Egun people. The language is not a dialect of Yoruba or even classified Yoruboid.
The Ogu people are found in both Benin Republic and Nigeria. In Nigeria, they are found in both Lagos and Ogun states. Maroko, Makoko, Badagry and a lot of other waterlogged areas of Lagos is occupied by them.
As you can see the title of their king is Akran not Oba.
